One of the coolest things happened today. I invented something! I actually invented something, and it works!

I'll be honest, I wasn't completely sure at first if the attack orbs would pan out well. The schematics are pretty ambitious, and though the task I've programmed into their chips are pretty simple they still worried me a bit. I haven't made anything like these. Sure, I've tinkered with a few of Big D's canned inventions and had made some of them work, but to actually build something from scratch and to see it work—it makes me feel good about myself.

Of course, Trent getting blasted at Gym class earlier makes it a whole lot better.

I do feel bad that Adam had to get shot with the lasers, though. Chase did too this morning, but I'm sure they'll understand. I mean, I made those for them. Big D's been adding more security updates to the lab in preparation for whatever else will come their way in the future. The attack orbs are not as impressive, but it's something. Those little guys can probably do more defensively against the opposing team compared to what I can do. Krane's a much bigger enemy than Eyebrows, and I don't think a protective vest will be enough for me this time around.

I just thought, you know, if something happens to me and I can't come to protect my siblings, at least I have the attack orbs in my stance.

I'm planning to make more of them if the prototypes don't go completely crazy this week. There is strength in numbers. If not, their presence will at least annoy VK two point wired to the point of distraction.

In Scramble the Orbs, what was the only line that Adam was supposed to say in the play? Reviews are loved, answers are loved!

This week's rec, just in case you haven't checked it out yet, is 88keys' Back To Life. It's a Sink or Swim tag that I thought she wrote wonderfully. It's a fanfic treat, trust me. ;)
