5 Days later the unthinkable happened.

I awoke to the sounds of the Alarm going off and explosions. Corporal Marks voice was blaring everywhere telling everyone that the Zerg was attacking Korhal and to report to the Armory.

Moving Quickly. I grab the Pistol from the emergency storage and ran through the halls with the other Recruits to the Armory. When we got there we all grabbed Gauss Rifles and where told to report outside. moving quickly I end up running through the Red Room which Sealed shut on me and a few others.

"Really?" The voice of someone next to me came as we waited for the Red Room to open again. As it opens we run through and hear it seal on more people.

When I get out to the front of the academy I see Corporal Lee outside directing everyone to board the tram to the Capitol. we where to reinforce the capitol building and make sure nothing got through. I quickly enter the Tram before the door closes and inspect my weapon. everything seemed to be in order. As I move to look ahead Tom notices me and approached shuffling through a bunch of recruits.

"You heard anything?" he asks me.

"No." I say honestly.

"Apparently the Capitol is all that's left. The Raiders are evacuating the Civilians and helping the Zerg push forward." Tom says bring me up to date.

"The Raiders? I thought the Raiders where fighting the Zerg. Why are they helping them?" I say confused.

"I have no idea. also I have a feeling that not all of us are going to make it out of this one." he says as he inspects his rifle like I did mine a minute ago.

"I wish I could tell you we would all be fine and would win the day like we always do in are simulations however I don't think so. We well fight and defend Korhal as long as we can however I have a feeling that we well be defeated here today. Just know that whatever happens you well not be forgotten by me." I say trying to cheer him up.

"Thanks surprisingly that means a lot to me" he says.

Are train stops and we are shuffle out and over to Lieutenant Williams who was overseeing the defense of the capitol.

We wait for another train to come before Lieutenant Williams starts yelling orders.

"Alright. We are going to spilt into 3 groups. the 1st group well report to Corporal Lee in the capital building. The Second Group well report to General Frederick who well direct the offensive push. The 3rd group well stay here with me and make sure nothing gets into the capital building. Await your group number. After standing at the ready for 10 minutes Lieutenant Williams approaches Tom Sean and I and addresses us.

We look at each other with a determined look in our eyes.

"Lets meet up here after the battle. We won't fall victim to the swarm" I say.

"It's a Promise!" Tom says upping his spirit.

"Agreed. We well see each other again. no matter what" Sean says. We shake hands and report to are commanding officers.

Walking up to Steve I ask "Where do you want me Lieutenant?" I ask.

"We need you in front of the Tank Line. if the Tank Lines Falls Korhal is lost." Yes Sir!. I say. As I am about to walk off he tells me to wait a second. He reaches down into a foot holster and pulls out his Ti-128 Security Revolver and hands it to me. "Take this, It well save your life someday" He says to me. I grab it and thank him putting the gun into a foot holster. I walk off and tune into the official military channel of the Terran Dominion.

"Squad 215 C This is General Frederick, push into the enemy Zerg base., Battle Cruiser Squadron 1 attack the rebel base to the east."

"General Frederick, The recruits are heading to you now to reinforce. we have capital building secure" The sound of Lieutenant Williams voice comes over the radio.

"Squad 215 SITREP?"

"Squad 215 is KIA"

"Squad 216 prepare to deploy I want the Zerg Con..." Gauss Rifle fire is heard as frantic voices are heard over the radio.

"Game over man! Game Over!"
"They're Everywhere!"

"How can we stop that many!"

"We Need Air Support!"

Suddenly the radio goes silent. "General Frederick your status?" Corporal Lees voice says on the radio.

"What's that over there!" someone yells to my left.

We all look to the left to see more Zerg then all simulations we have done combine crashing down on us.

"Don't let them get to the Tanks!" Lieutenant Williams yells as the Tanks start to fire artillery shots at the incoming swarm.

the first few shots killed 30 Zerglings. they where quickly replaced and entered into firing range. The sound of 100 Guns go off at once as a wall of bullets go flying towards the invading Zerg. The walls of Zerglings start dropping, My ammo count reads 0 and I pull another magazine and continue firing. the approaching swarms where being replaced from Zerglings into Hydralisks making are job harder. The Hydralisks get into range and returned fire, I feel a jolt of pain as a few Zerg spikes enter my suit before the Tanks shoot them down. I get healed by what I assume is a Medivac and continue to shoot more Zerglings as they approach. I manage to drop one when I hear a yell.

"Ultralisks!" I look and see what looks like 100 Ultralisks coming right for us, I tap a panel on my suit and the Stimpack starts flowing through me. I focus on the nearest Ultralisk concentrating all my fire. I hear Tank shots being fired and see several shells hit an Ultralisk dropping it

"Move!" a voice from what sounded like a Thor said as a giant machine moves up front and fires a Nuclear Missile. I scramble to get behind the tank line almost tripping on a another Marine. I made it behind the line before the Nuke lands with a thunderous crash incinerating the Ultralisks and unfortunately a few Marines. we run back in front of tank line but not in front of the giant Oden war machine. I scan the horizon looking for another target when someone yells "They're Reviving That's Not Fair!" I look to the Ultralisks location when they suddenly stand up. I let out a battle cry as I begin shooting. The Ultralisks continued seemingly not bothered by are shots, A couple Ultralisks dash into the Oden knocking it off balance. Seeing the Oden fall backwards I quickly dash to my left to avoid the giant machine of death from falling on me, I quickly raise my Gauss Rifle again to shoot at a nearby Ultralisk however my target rammed into me sending me flying. I went air born and landed into a nearby building, I struggle to remain conscious as the pain from almost everything broken overwhelms me. I hear cries in the radio.

"Tank Line Down!"

"Get your Squad Ready!"

"Help!"

hearing a hiss a Zergling enters my vision, I am helpless as I watch the creature. lick its lips and jumping on me making everything go black.
