Congrats to Dirtkid123, Rodrigo, BigTimeRusher12, labrats123, Lady Cougar-Trombone (extra points for you, ma'am!), and AllAmericanSlurp for answering correctly! Principal Perry did serve them hamburgers, which actually looked pretty appealing.

Thanks, too, to Doomforzombies16 (it's okay!) and 88keys for the reviews!

Short entry, but I hope you guys enjoy! (We're almost caught up!)

Disclaimer's on my profile page if anyone would like to see one.

So the big Davenport Industries softball game happened yesterday, and I have to admit that it was fun. There were a lot of families there, not to mention a lot of good food brought in by said families. Big D went all out and bought uniforms for everyone playing, too. They looked pretty sweet, and it made the game look really legitimate.

Mom, Adam, Bree, Chase and I watched at the bleachers with everybody, cheering Douglas and Big D on. Things were actually interesting. From the way they were playing, I could tell that Big D and Douglas' team felt a little awkward having Douglas around, especially the employees who knew him from when the company first started. I guess no one can really blame them. Douglas did just pull an Oliver Queen on them, coming back to life after being thought dead all of those years—in a softball game at that.

Big D didn't want to have him play at first for that reason, but he really needed someone to complete his team. He said he thought of adding me to the roster, but then he felt uncomfortable with the fact that, with my new arm, I could send the ball flying across the city throughout the game, and that would make it unfair for the opposing team. I told him I still have relatively bad coordination (not so much anymore because of my trainings with Douglas), but he said he didn't want the risk it could put me and the family in if someone figured out that I have bionics now.

So, between Green Arrow and semi-Superman, Green Arrow was chosen for jersey number two.

I'm alright with it. It was nice hanging out with Mom, Adam, Bree and Chase anyways. Plus, Janelle stopped by to say hi to us and to tell Big D that she hoped they would win.

Unfortunately, they didn't, and what made it worse was their two point loss, but Mom was there to tell Big D that it was okay and that he played well. Big D was still a bit upset, but with Mom by his side he got over it.

Douglas, on the other hand, is still having a tough time dealing with the turnout. He pretty much ranted all day yesterday and this morning about everyone in the team, blaming them for their loss. Chase and I kept telling him that it was a close game and that they still did well, but he wasn't having it.

In the end, we just decided to leave him alone.

That seems to have been the best move. Apparently, when Douglas is unhappy about something, he tends to fix things to calm down. He must have been angrier than I thought he was, because he fixed the messed up lights at the garage, at the front door and at the library. He also got the dishwasher to stop buzzing unnecessarily, and he evened out the cupboards, too.

I almost asked him for a new ability 'cause I was sure he would have said okay, but that wouldn't have been nice. Plus, Big D and Mom wouldn't have approved. So I didn't.

I have another good reason for not doing it, too: I've been busy.

Yep. Busy.

Okay, I haven't mentioned it to anyone in my family yet, but I've just completed my first college application. It feels a little unreal, to be honest. Just the thought of me going to college is weird. I'm not sure if they'd require me to live on campus, but the idea of being on my own makes me feel excited and sad at the same time.

I don't know. I guess I'll just cross the bridge when I get there. And, there's no guarantee anyways that I'll be accepted to the first university I applied to. It's Cal Tech, after all. There's probably less than ten percent chance I'll get in, and Big D and Mom might find the tuition a deal breaker. I'm pretty sure Cal Tech wants students that are super smart, too, and while I'm no slouch in that area, I'm no Chase, either.

I really just wanted to try it. I mean, why not? It's my dream school. Though it had cost me nearly one hundred bucks just to apply, at least I can't say I didn't try.

Signed,

Leo Francis Dooley

The Bree Chronicles

What was the name of Bree's date in Face Off? Reviews and answers are appreciated!

Okay, long-ish end note, but here we go:

As a special thank you to the many reviews this story of mine had been getting (it honestly still blows my mind seeing that figure up there because prior to my involvement in the LR fandom, none of my stories even reach 100 reviews), I decided to offer a prize to the 500th reviewer: a one-shot fic. Congrats to AllAmericanSlurp! Send me a PM, and let's talk prompts, shall we? ;)

Lastly, the next tag will be an open tag in place of the holiday episode. Just a warning: the next tag deals with the topic of bullying and its consequences. I'll put a trigger warning in the beginning because there will be a mention of how bullying can affect someone. The character writing in the Chronicle will not specify what it is, but you'll know what he means.

Anyways, I 'll try to update soon.
