Misao was out at the grocery store picking up ingredients. Her mother and Father had gone away for a weekend together but had left her medicines and a list for her. They had also reminded her not to push herself too hard.
"Let's see I have plenty of fresh vegetables, 2 packages of rice, chicken and iced tea but...what else do I want?" Misao thought to herself. While she had gotten nutritional food she had thought about getting herself a treat.
"We meet again Misao" a familiar voice said from behind her.
Misao turned and smiled happily "Sho-chan it's you!" she cried out happily. It had been a while since she last saw him and she had missed him.
"Would you like help with your shopping? That basket looks heavy" Sho offered kindly.
"That would great; my back has been rather sore today" Misao said gratefully. She hardly ever complained but she was good at enduring pain.
Sho took the basket and helped her with the rest of the shopping and kept her company. He was aware of Kyo's feelings for Misao but he had loved her as kids too; and he was going to use this situation to his advantage. To finally get Misao to notice him...as a man.
"Let's see Chocó-sticks, Peaches then some Coffee and chocolate flavoured milk" Misao said cheerfully.
"You still love your sweets; just like when we were kids" Sho chuckled in a playful manner.
Misao blushed shyly "I guess not" she said shyly feeling awkward.
Sho smiled fondly at her his eyes gentle; Misao gazed back at him smiling sweetly. She felt like she had done this before; but couldn't remember when.
After
"Are you sure that shopping isn't too heavy Sho-Chan? I am more than capable" Misao whined anxiously. She didn't want to look like a slacker even if she did have a sore back.
"Misao your back is fragile at the moment. If anything you need the rest and me carrying these bags will help you" Sho said kindly.
Misao smiled fondly; In some ways he reminded her of Kyo not just in looks but his personality too. However his temper and lecherousness was not as bad as Kyo's which was a relief.
"Say Sho..." Misao asked nervously her face turning red.
"Hmm?" Sho asked curiously.
"Where are you staying at the moment?" she asked curiously her heart racing wildly.
"Well I have been renting a motel room as of present; I may ask Kyo to let me stay at his place as I don't have much money left from the bill" Sho explained awkwardly.
It was true he still hated Kyo for stealing away Misao from him and he had never forgiven him. He had always been jealous of him for coming with him during training and seducing Misao as kids; but he was still his brother and there were times they had to work together.
Misao swallowed nervously and clenched her fists tightly; she took a deep breath and closed her eyes "You can stay with me!" she cried out loudly.
Sho blinked at her in shock and surprise. He couldn't quite believe what he was hearing; usually Misao would push him away and avoid him at all cost. Now she was inviting him to stay the night?!
"My parents are gone for the weekend and I sometimes get lonely. Kyo has been mean these past few weeks so I'm avoiding him. But If you have nowhere to go you can stay with me" Misao mumbled quietly her face growing redder.
Sho smiled fondly "Thank you Misao; I would like that very much" he said gratefully.
Misao smiled "I'm so glad" she said relieved that she would have some company. She did still care about Kyo but he had been so bossy and nosy lately; always butting into her personal life and it was very frustrating. She needed some headspace from him for a while and Sho was more relaxed and down to earth anyway.
Back home
"Thanks for carrying the shopping Sho it was really kind of you" Misao said gratefully. She hadn't thought he would carry it all the way but he had insisted.
"I can at least unpack since you have been so generous" she said sternly.
"Very well Misao; as long as I am of use to you" Sho said kindly with a warm smile.
Misao began to unlock the door slowly when a voice cried out loudly "MISAO!" in a desperate tone.
Misao and Sho looked behind them and saw Kyo panting heavily and standing outside his house. He had obviously run from somewhere far to where they were now.
"Kyo?" Misao said in a surprised yet casual tone.
"It's nice to see you again little brother" Sho said politely with a slightly teasing tone.
Kyo shot him an angry glare then looked at Misao "What the hell are you doing with him? Didn't I tell you to stay AWAY from him?" he snapped crossly.
Misao frowned crossly "I don't care Kyo! He at least doesn't butt into my personal life, root through my underwear drawer and always grope me! I need personal space Kyo and if I want to spend time with your more polite older brother then that is my choice" She snapped angrily.
Kyo was infuriated; Misao may have forgotten but he still remembered. Remembered all the terrible things he had done to Misao and him. But he would not let his wicked older brother steal away Misao!
"You don't know what he's done Misao! All the things he has done in the past INCLUDING to you!" Kyo yelled frustratedly.
Misao clenched her fists "I want to remember on my own; and if I want to change certain parts of my life that is up to me NOT you" she spat angrily and opened her front door yanked Sho inside and slammed it shut.
Kyo stood out in the cold in shock and disbelief. How could he be losing her to his brother? Why did things have to be this way? Why couldn't Misao just remember?
He fell to his knee's sadly and bowed his head in despair "Don't leave me Misao...not again" Kyo whispered sadly.
Inside
Misao was sat on the sofa wearing a frown and feeling pissed off at Kyo for meddling in her life again. She couldn't breathe without him butting in.
Sho was sat opposite her on the large chair; he wanted to say something but thought it best to let her work through her rage.
Misao inner POV
"Stupid Kyo! Why can't he just let me live my own life? I may still have some feelings for him but I can't see him as anything but a teacher right now! So what if I wanna date his brother it's not a crime! He doesn't OWN me! Stupid jerk!
Now
Sho peered at Misao nervously. He wanted to speak to her but knew from past experience that messing with her when mad was a BAD idea.
Eventually he bravely got to his feet and sat beside her and took her hands in his own. He wanted to comfort her yet show her she was loved. "Misao" he said gently his eyes serious yet caring.
Misao blushed shyly and looked at him. How was it she felt so calm when he spoke to her? Why was she drawn to him in such a way?
"Don't waste your tears on him Misao; He doesn't OWN you" he said solemnly. He placed a hand on her lap gently. She was so warm and soft; like a peach.
Misao was confused; Usually if another man touched her stomach would hurt like crazy. But now she felt fine and her pain was not occurring. Yet she wanted to be closer to him; she wanted to become closer to Sho.
Sho gazed at her desirously; she was so beautiful and she smelled like a ripe peach. He wanted to pluck her and savour her sweet nectar.
"Sho-chan..." Misao moaned in a pleading manner. Her eyes said she wanted him and her sweet smell was growing stronger like a drug.
"To hell with it!" Sho thought angrily to himself. He grabbed Misao's wrist and pulled her close to him. He slammed his lips onto her own savouring their sweet taste and gripping her back tightly with his other arm.
Misao was taken aback but didn't refuse him. She clutched his obi with her free hand and returned his passionate kiss. She wanted him so badly and wanted to forget all about Kyo and his pig headed behaviour.
"Forgive me for my sins...But I can't lose her now; not that I finally have her love" Sho thought to himself. He had worked hard to get her affections and now that she finally noticed him; he would not let her go.
