Chapter 4
As the door opened, a flurry scent of lavender and orchid drifted towards the clients that waited eagerly to get in.
"Welcome," the group before them in Music Room 3 said in unison. They were dressed all in black suit and ties, the hostesses dressed in short black dresses with black rose placed in their hair. They smiled gently at their guests. Behind a wall, a cloaked figure kept watch – it was impossible to spot him from where the group of clients was standing.
"All the club members are in the building," the cloaked figure whispered into an old walkie talkie. "I repeat, no sign of the woman."
"Keep looking, she has to be somewhere," answered a frustrated masked voice.
"Understood sir." The cloaked figure put away the device. "I wonder where you are, little lady…"
Three hours later
"Your radiance melts my ice cold heart," Kaito said as he kissed one of the lady's hands that surrounded him. "My coldness is no match for the love I feel towards you." He was dressed in a black suit with a pink tie.
"Oh lucky!" The fangirls swooned towards the young girl who blushed madly, brown curls flopping over her eyes.
Meanwhile, with Raiko and Kazuya
"Hello ladies," Raiko spoke cutely, smiling and looking like a child. His black eye patch suited quite well with what he was wearing. "How are you today?" He was wearing a light green tie.
"Hello Rai," the girls who sat beside him answered.
Kazuya walked over with a plain look on his face. Raiko turned his head slightly then said happily, "Kazuya!" Kazuya didn't answer as he sat down opposite Raiko. He was wearing a velvet blue tie.
"Would you like some cake?" The girls asked nervously. Raiko hid his disgust well as he took a bite out of the cake. "Yummy." Raiko muttered under his breath as he suddenly coughed loudly into his palm.
"Are you alright Rai?" the girls worried as they looked at him concerned.
Raiko looked at them and regained his composure, "I like you ladies very much," Raiko continued to flirt.
Meanwhile, with the triplets
"Well hello ladies," Kakashi said smiling at their group as he poured the tea on the knee high table.
"Nice to see you all again," Takashi popped up on the other side of the table as they all sat on either ends.
"Let's play a game!" Toga laughed.
The girls looked interested. "What kind of game?"
Kakashi and Takashi got side by side by Toga and ruffled their hair to match each other.
"Guess who is who! It's an old tradition of the Host Club." They laughed at the girls' confusion.
"How can we tell?" The girls asked confused.
"Come on, you can't be serious," Sakura said from behind the triplets. "You are making them guess?"
"That's the fun," Kakashi whispered in her right ear.
"For us," Takashi whispered in her left ear.
"So ladies, your time is up. Guess now," said Toga with a cheeky grin. "Come on, give it a try."
"You are Takashi," one lady nervously pointed to Toga.
"You are Kakashi," another lady pointed to Takashi.
"And you are Toga!" The first lady pointed to Kakashi.
Sakura sighed. "You are all wrong. That is Kakashi, there is Takashi, and here is Toga." She identified the correct triplets without a problem.
"Congratulations," they answered in perfect harmony. "How did you know?"
Sakura thought for a moment. "Because Kakashi always speaks first and stands on the right, Takashi always speaks second and stands on the left, and Toga is always in the middle and always goes last!"
"She figured it out so easily." Kakashi sounded disappointed that the game was over.
"Not even Raiko could figure it out that quickly," Takashi blankly pointed out.
"What couldn't I figure out?" said a curious voice from above them, cutting Toga off from speaking.
Sakura looked up to find Raiko's eye on her like a hawk eyeing its prey. She just walked a few steps backwards and pointed upwards with her mouth open. Raiko was sitting on the roof with his arms crossed, and he was looking straight at them.
"We were talking about how Sakura could figure out who…" Kakashi began.
"…was who." Takashi finished Kakashi's sentence.
"Yep, they were comparing you to Sakura," Toga said as he sulked on the floor, resting his head on his legs.
Kaito suddenly appeared from behind them and looked at the group with his hands on his hips. "The last guests have just left because you people were busy with other things. How can we entertain them when you waste time on silly matters?"
"Look who's talking." Kakashi crossed his arms and snarled at his leader.
"What a hypocrite," Takashi said annoyed, rolling his eyes as he did.
"Raiko cut me off!" Toga was sulking like a little child.
"We lost time while you guys were playing with each other," a voice from behind them snapped. They all looked over to find Ichigo behind them, looking rather cross. "Time is money as you very well know!"
Sakura looked surprised. "Oh, you are here! But then where are Moka, Rukia, and Annette?"
"They ran out," Ichigo said madly, brushing past them. "Rukia went to shop, Moka probably to Hokuto, and as for Annette, who knows?"
Sakura nodded and looked up to Raiko. "What was that cute act earlier? It didn't seem like you at all!"
"It isn't. Just what is expected off me," Raiko said sharply, his eye piercing straight into her soul.
Sakura just stared at him for a moment and sighed. "Fine then." She looked around and noticed a client still sitting at her desk. She was rocking back and forth and muttering to herself. "Um… You guys?" Sakura pointed to the client and they all turned to see.
Kaito waltzed over and bowed to the guest. "What are you still doing here, my little robin?"
The client looked at him with scared eyes and pointed to a space on the floor. It began to move apart, and suddenly some sort of platform emerged. They heard a powerful engine thundering underneath. The hosts jumped to one side, dust was everywhere – when it cleared up, the sight was shocking.
Before them on the platform stood a woman, dressed in a navy dress. She had natural brown, straight hair and glistening eyes, although her smile was slightly devilish.
"Who is she?" Sakura whispered to Kaito, pointing to the woman with a puzzled look.
Kaito seemed slightly on edge because of the woman's presence. "I don't know," he replied shortly.
"Great, it's that manager from last time," Raiko said angrily, jumping down from the ceiling. "I thought they got rid of that menace."
"I wondered when she would show up," Kakashi wondered out loud, taking out his game console again.
"Boy, what a pain she is," Takashi pondered whilst looking over Kakashi's shoulder.
"We knew this day was coming," Toga sighed and tried to look over Kakashi's other shoulder.
"Ah… Miss… We didn't expect you, you should have called." Ichigo talked as if nothing had just happened, typing away on his computer and ignoring the hatred and confusion in the room. The client glanced at the woman then ran out, as fast as her legs would take her.
The lady began laughing as she looked down at the host club with a smile, plastered all over her face. "That got rid of her."
Kaito was still oblivious. "And who are you then?
"You've got to be joking," the triplets said in unison. Kakashi knocked Kaito in the back of the head and groaned in frustration.
"You can't be that naïve," Kakashi said, scolding the older teen for his mistake; he crossed his arms and looked quite serious for once.
"No one except you can be so completely ignorant," Takashi coldly agreed.
"You truly are a complete moron, Kaito," Toga exhaled loudly, glaring daggers at Kaito.
Sakura felt bewildered and confused with everything that was happening. Kaito crept back a little to avoid another blow from Kakashi. Raiko sat on a chair beside Ichigo, who wasn't bothered by the fact the woman had so suddenly appeared.
"It's the club's former manager," the triplets said, looking back at the lady with an unsure expression written all over their faces. "Miss Renge."
Kaito exclaimed shocked as his eyes bulged at the teacher. "Miss Renge! But she's the history teacher…"
"Now listen up," Miss Renge said with a strict voice as she approached the group quickly, some members taking a step back. "I am here to find you a new manager!"
"A manager?" The Host Club said in puzzlement and horror as the realisation settled in. "But why?"
