Chapter 19

The consequences between life and death. Raiko knew Toga's chances were slim of surviving, the fatal blows, he was lucky to even make it to the Club room when he did. As Raiko sat on his bed, thinking to himself Kazuya walked in and crossed his arms to lean against the wall, opposite to the bed. Raiko huffed as he turned away from the silent man's stare. The silence was deafening as

"It is a shame isn't it?" Raiko chuckled as Kazuya stared at him blankly. "Toga is going to die isn't he? Now he is just on borrowed time as the rest of us is allowed to be free. How pathetic…"

"I never knew you could be so cold towards someone," Kazuya accused him, "You think you should be allowed friends, when all you have in darkness in your heart. You are just happy like a child who is allowed to have its toy."

"Will you stop!" Raiko screamed at him, throwing a pillow as it hit Kazuya's face. "No one is allowed to treat me like a kid anymore. I am 18 aren't I?"

"Juniper," Kazuya said, "He recognised the same little boy, who came to him so long ago. You think you are allowed to right to be free, you are the more pathetic one."

"How do you think Sakura is doing?" Raiko mumbled changing topics unexpectedly, Kazuya raised an eyebrow. "I mean… Her and Toga seemed to be hitting it off a little bit, you know. Maybe…" The insecurity of Raiko Haninozuka was only known to Kazuya. The caring part mixed in by the cold uncaring part lets the racks through as he was unable to hide it.

Kazuya's smile grew wider as Raiko seemed to shrink more and more. "You care for her… You have cared for her the moment you set your eyes when she broke that sculpture. You blocked her from the club, grew jealous when she started to grow close to people. No wonder you are happy Toga's in a hospital bed, about to die."

Raiko shrugged as he gathered his coat. He wasn't arguing, part of him wanted Toga to die. He began to walk out of the room. "I am going to make her mine, just you wait." Raiko said as he walked out.

"I won't hold my breath."

Sakura felt miserable as she laid on the couch with a blanket rolled over her. It's warmth was slightly comforting, as Keeto snuggled up beside her. Nami was out somewhere, doing something. Sakura didn't care, she felt depressed either way. Keeto just laid there happily, unknowing of the dangers that the world had to offer.

There was a knock as Sakura rolled over on her side and blocked her ears. She didn't want to answer, she was too sad to answer.

"Sakura, open up will you," Juniper's voice from the other end said, unnaturally human for himself. "I know you are in there."

Sakura mumbled as she gathered Keeto up, and slugged her way to the door. As she opened it, Juniper's sad figure was in it. He was without his top hat, his suit a mess as his eyes had strain on them. It wasn't the regular Juniper she knew.

He smiled slightly as he saw Keeto. "Can I hold him?"

Sakura sighed as she nodded, as Juniper carefully lifted him and let Keeto snuggle into his chest. He began bobbing up and down, twisting side to side in an effort to try and make his own worries go away.

"Would you like some coffee?" Sakura said quietly as if not to ruin the moment between father and son.

"Yes…please," Juniper smiled gratefully as he made his way down to the couch, wrapping the blankets around Keeto as he settled himself into the couch. "I haven't seen him for a bit haven't I? What a big boy you have grown into," Juniper cooed over him, as Sakura began making the coffee.

"What brings you around here?" Sakura said as Juniper stroked his hand over Keeto's hair, Keeto relaxed.

"Kakashi was attacked outside Toga's hospital room," Sakura looked stunned as Juniper looked miserably out. "Toga's condition has worsen overnight and the Host Club won't be the Host Club, for a bit now. The Ootori police is now keeping watch over Toga."

"How do you know all this?" Sakura said wide eyed.

"I am the Manager Sakura, I know these things," Juniper said slightly miserably. "In fact being the manager has made the UnderTaker business, seem rather depressing. I haven't been able to work since about Toga. It destroyed me and your sister's relationship, and now I can't even see my son without getting into a fight with her…"

"WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING HERE?" Nami's raged voice in the doorway made even Keeto cry, her figure fuming from everywhere as Juniper shrank into the lounge. Nami looked furiously at Juniper who returned the look with a depressed stance. Nami snatched Keeto out of Juniper's arms as he stood up in anger from it. Sakura slowly backed away as Nami slapped Juniper hard in the face. he stumbled backwards as she went to hit again as he grabbed her wrist.

"Aren't I allowed to see my staff anymore?" Juniper yelled at her, grippung harder. "Aren't I allowed to see my son?"

"You lost that right, when you became obsessed," Nami yelled at him, yanking her wrist backwards, giving Sakura to Keeto then ushering them out of the room, slamming the door behind her. As all Sakura could hear was yelling, and screaming.

Sakura walked to her room, Keeto crying in her arms as she could hear the both of them yelling. Juniper was out of sorts today, he wasn't going on about Undertaking or Death. He wasn't himself. She remembered the happier times with those two, they use to be in love. But now, all was left, was an obsession, heartache and a baby.

It lasted for an hour the screaming until she heard a door being slammed and her sister's loud cries from beneath. Keeto was by then asleep as Sakura herself couldn't fall asleep.

As Sakura got to school the next morning, a dreary atmosphere had grown around.

Sakura moved to her classroom, as Takashi sat alone on his desk. Mr Rito was out front, even he looked slightly dead like. It was a miserable roll call. Nothing was really the same at the moment. Juniper was beside him, miserable, without anything that made Juniper, Juniper.

"Juniper," she whispered as she shook his shoulder, he looked up. Tears staining his face as he wiped them away with his dirty sleeve. "You look…"

"Terrible, miserable," he scoffed, uncaring as she looked slightly stunned at him. "Who cares anymore." He began chuckling, slightly unhinged as if he had lost anything important he had left. "I've never had a chance to be near Keeto, I tried. I'm not allowed near my son, the business was running has now gone down the drain."

"What?"

"The Undertaking business, I had to sell it. Too many bills, found out yesterday. Now I will probably lose any chance I had to make a better life for myself in this school because The Host Club, has lost two of its members, and have a crazy cult after them," Sakura embraced him in a hug as he just began crying, tears pouring over as something had cracked inside. Mr Rito sighed as Sakura took Juniper outside. Takashi followed as Juniper slumped against the wall outside.

Sakura rubbed his shoulder as Juniper couldn't stop crying. "It's okay."

"It isn't okay, it has never been okay," Juniper snarled at her. Juniper looked at Takashi who remained silent. "This isn't fair, how is the rest of the club handling your brother's status at the moment."

Takashi remained silent as Juniper laughed. Sakura remained silent as Juniper pulled them both into a hug. "You two are okay," Juniper said as he got up and battered off his top hat. A smile appeared on his face as the tear stains looks like from tears of happiness. "Time to help the other members."

The three of them made their way to the Host Club as they heard the bell ring. They opened up the doors to find a curious sight.

Raiko was looming and death staring everyone in a corner as Kazuya was smirking. Kaito and Ichigo was playing chess as the three girls was nowhere in sight.

"You beat me again?" Kaito shrieked as Ichigo shrugged, not noticing the three new presences in the room. "How could you?" Kaito mocked cried as Ichigo smirked. Sakura noticed the closeness they had over each other, something someone couldn't break.

"You are just so easily beat," Ichigo smiled as he turned around to see the three come in. "What a sight for sore eyes."

Juniper ignored it as he knocked the game of chess to the floor, Kaito looked stunned as Juniper put out some pieces of paper as they all made their way over to the desk. Juniper looked around at the shocked faces.

"What is this?" Raiko asked him.

"We need to trap that cult, once and for all. Best way is to lure them out in the open, which can provide means and methods in a months from now. The Annual Ouran Academy Ball."

"That's where all the students and their parents come together?" Kaito said shocked, "You are willing to risk everyone's lives, are you mad?"

"I got nothing else left to lose any more, I will take the fall if it fails, I am not asking you to do it just for the whole, but for your own reasons. I need your help to get this done. Are you with me?"

The remaining members nodded, unsure of the outcome it would entail.
