I know I promised an updated a few days before this...but stuff has been going on here in my house and I have just been really stressed and upset lately I couldn't put myself to write something good...Hopefully, things will turn out alright soon :) I tried making this chapter a bit longer because I kept you waiting!

Sunday came and so far everyone had been enjoying their time in LA. The night of their arrival, Magnus and Alec had directed themselves to a fancy Italian restaurant where Magnus had made a reservation a few days before. They had a romantic night together, eat delicious food, chatted about everything , and laughed at silly things…All in all, they had a brilliant time together. Afterwards, they had moved to their hotel room where they had a hotly make-out session. However, when they were about to go to the next level, Alec had pushed Magnus away in panic. The photographer had bolted out of the room and locked himself in the bathroom for almost an hour. Magnus was left hurt and confused. He tried to persuade Alec to walk out of the bathroom so t hey could talk about it. He had given up after half-an-hour of complete silence from Alec's part….When Alec had finally gotten out of the bathroom, he quickly changed into some pajamas and went to lay down under the covers of the bed.

Magnus was a bit hesitant to join him in bed that night. After what had happened, the designer was afraid of approaching his boyfriend. He knew they had to talk about it sooner or later, but he wasn't sure if Alec was ready to talk just yet. After a few minutes of debating with himself, he finally went to bed with Alec and tried to talk about it, but Alec was turned on his back and his eyes were closed, pretending to sleep. In the end, Magnus just sighed defeated and lay down on his side of the bed and went to sleep.

It wasn't the first time they had shared a bed. In more than one occasion Alec had stayed the night at Magnus's apartment and vice-versa. They've never gone farther than making out, though. Magnus knew Alec wasn't ready yet, and he had promised him he would wait. He was getting horny, however. They've been dating for a month and two weeks, and the fact that they haven't gone further frustrated him to no end. Magnus was used to having what he wanted when he wanted it. If he felt like sex, he could easily get a one-night stand. Everything had changed when he met Alec, however. He stopped seeing other people because he could never keep his mind away from Alec. He was not used waiting for someone, but he was willing to do it with Alec because he knew it was worth the wait…He just wished Alec would talk to him. Maybe Magnus had pushed him too far tonight. Yeah, he was sure he had done that…but Alec wasn't really stopping him before. He was more than willing and it had excited Magnus. But then Alec freaked out and ran out, and that left Magnus hurting like crazy. He knew Alec wasn't ready, and as much as he tried to convince himself Alec was just scared, the rejection still hurt.

Magnus sighed, staring up at the ceiling of their hotel room. He wished he could hold Alec close, that he could feel the photographer's breathing against his neck, and that they could sleep tangled in each other's arms...Magnus just hoped everything would be better in the morning.

As it turns out, things were not better in the morning. Magnus tried talking to Alec who had just shrugged it off as if nothing had happened. The photographer then had locked himself in the bathroom to get ready. Magnus frowned, but decided to let it rest. Alec would talk to him when he was ready and until then Magnus would have to wait. The designer started to get ready for their day together as well. They had agreed with everyone else to meet in the beach at 10am so they could spend the rest of the day there.

When they were both ready they made their way towards the hotel's beach. It was a private area so none of them would be bothered in being photographer or, in Jace's case, being followed by fans. Alec didn't talk to Magnus at all as they made their way towards the beach, but once they met with everyone else he acted as if nothing had happened and everything was perfect in his relationship…that kind of made Magnus mad and at the same time glad. He was glad because they really didn't need everyone else getting involved with their relationship. But he was mad because Alec couldn't just brush it off as nothing and expect for everything to be alright! Magnus, however, did no comment towards it and just went with whatever came his way.

They started walking down the beach until they reached the farthest place from the hotel. It was completely deserted and they were sure no one would bother them there. They all laid their towels in the sand and placed all the baskets that had their food for the day. Clary sat down in the towels and looked towards the sea. She took out a sketch book and started drawing while everyone else settled down. Jace instantly pulled off his shirt and kicked off his shorts, staying only with his swimming shorts. Alec and Simon soon followed. The three of them moved towards the water and started to fool around. They had rented some surf-boards and were trying to catch some waves.

Izzy sighed, unclasping the front of her dress that held to the top and put it away. She was left with a white bikini and then she lay down on one of the blankets by the sand.

"I don't know about you" She started as she took off her sun-glasses as well "But I'm working on my tan"

She applied some sun-cream to her body and closed her eyes. Magnus sighed, taking his shirt off and laying down next to Izzy. Compared to her, he didn't really need to tan at all, but the warmth of the sun was something Magnus always found comforting, and at the moment that's all he needed: lay down, close his eyes, and let the sun and the sound of the ocean relax him.

"OMG! IZZY!" Clary exclaimed as she faced her two friends.

"What?" Izzy asked sitting down in panic "What's wrong?!"

"Nothing…it's just…you're already showing!" Clary said with wide eyes and pointing at Izzy's stomach.

"Of course I am" Izzy rolled her eyes but smiled gently towards her friend "I'm two months far"

"I still can't believe you're going to have a baby" Clary said with a wide grin

"You're telling me" Izzy sighed "It scares me to no end knowing in seven months I'll be a mother"

"You have nothing to worry about Isabelle" Magnus said still lying down with closed eyes "I'm sure you'll be a wonderful mother"

"You have to say that" Izzy rolled her eyes "I'm not sure if I'll be that great"

"Nonsense" Clary said with a scowl "You'll be an amazing mother and you know it"

"Alec is always telling me how you treated your younger brother" Magnus said sitting up and turning to face the young model "You always cared for him and did a wonderful job as an older sister"

"Yeah well, it didn't turn out too good, did it?" Izzy said turning to look towards the sea "I'm just afraid I'll do something wrong"

"Everyone's bond to make mistakes" Magnus said softly "but that's life, we're humans. We make mistakes and then we fix them"

"And you won't be alone in this" Clary said "You'll have Simon with you and all of us…everything will be alright"

"Thank you guys" Izzy smiled her eyes shining with tears that threatened to spill out

"No need to thank us sweetie" Magnus said smiling back at her.

The three of them went back to what they had been doing. Izzy and Magnus lying down and enjoying the sunlight while Clary drew and observed Alec, Jace, and Simon with amusement.

Eventually the three men came back towards them and brought the idea of getting some ice-cream.

"I'll go!" Clary said, standing up and dusting off her green sun-dress.

"Do you want some?" Simon asked Izzy who hadn't moved from her place on the blanket.

"I can't work on my tan if I'm walking around, can I?" Izzy said "Just bring me a vanilla cone"

"Alright" Simon said with a shrug and turning to catch up with Clary and Jace who were already walking away.

"Magnus?" Alec asked softly. The designer was shocked he had actually talked to him.

"Yes, darling?" Magnus asked still not opening his eyes

"You're not coming?" Alec asked frowning slightly

"No thanks" Magnus sighed "I rather stay here"

"Ok…Do you want me to bring you something?"

"A vanilla and strawberry swirl come would be fine" Magnus opened his eyes and smiled towards his boyfriend

"Alright" Alec nodded and walked off with the rest.

Magnus sighed closing his eyes again and trying to find his 'happy place'. He groaned when he couldn't stop thinking about everything that had happened between the two of them the night before and that morning.

"Is everything alright Magnus?" Izzy asked turning to look at her brother's boyfriend.

"Yes! Everything is completely lovely" Magnus said, his voice full of sarcasm

"What's wrong?" Izzy asked seriously.

"It's Alec" Magnus sighed "We went for dinner yesterday and had a lovely time and then we went back to the hotel and kissed and started making out, but before you could…you know" Magnus said awkwardly not really comfortable talking about sex with Alec's little sister "He freaked out and pushed me away and locked himself in the bathroom"

"How far did you get?" Izzy asked, her voice and eyes showing she was concerned

"Not too much" Magnus sighed "We were barely out of our clothes when he pushed me away"

"Well that explains it" Isabelle said to herself

"What explains it?" Magnus asked turning to look at her "Is there something I should know? He's not…He's not a virgin, is he?"

"If he were, I highly doubt I should be the one telling you" Izzy rolled her eyes "But he's not"

"Then I don't get it!" Magnus exclaimed "I know we've only been dating for two months and a few weeks and I get it if he's not ready to go all the way…but he won't even talk to me! He just pushes me away and then shrugs it off as if it's nothing!"

"Magnus I get the rejection is hurting you, believe me I do" Izzy said softly but seriously "But try to see it from Alec's point of view…He's more insecure than what you think. He's scared and he's not about to show all of himself to you just yet"

"What's there to be insecure about? Is he shy about his body?" Magnus asked more confused now than before "Because he's perfect…and I mean perfect"

"That's part of it, yeah" Izzy nodded turning to look away "But he's got secrets Magnus, secrets he's not ready to tell"

"What do you mean?" Magnus asked sitting up suddenly "What kind of secrets?!"

Magnus never got an answer though because the rest of the group approached them with the ice-cream cones. Izzy acted as if she had never had that conversation with Magnus. Giving him one last warning look that told him not to mention, she turned towards Simon and took the vanilla cone gratefully.

Magnus sighed and let the subject drop. Alec had taken a seat next to him and offered him the ice-cream he had asked for. Magnus thanked his boyfriend and started to eat his ice-cream. After they were all done with their ice-cream Jace came up with the idea of having some fun with some water motorbikes they had rented for the day.

"Do we have to?" Isabelle groaned when they started to stand up

"Come Izzy, don't be a party popper" Jace teased her

"I wanted to work on my tan…which you don't let me!" Izzy exclaimed

"You have one week to work on your tan Izzy" Alec rolled his eyes as he extended his hand towards Magnus to help him stand up.

"I actually agree with Izzy" Magnus said, but he stood up when Alec turned to glare at him "I don't want to get wet!"

"You're kidding, right?" Alec asked

"Well yeah, but obviously you won't let me stay here" Magnus rolled his eyes "How are we doing this, though? There are only three motorbikes"

"Each motorbike can fit two people" Jace explained as Izzy finally stuff up with a huff.

Clary took off her sundress and stayed with her equally green bikini. Jace wiggled his eyebrows at the sight of her, giving her a goofy smirk. Clary blushed deep red but scowled at him nonetheless. Jace just burst out laughing and guided everyone towards the motorbikes.

Magnus sighed, following close behind Alec. Alec shyly took his hand in his and Magnus intertwined their fingers. They both smiled at each other and then approached one of the motorbikes.

"Are you sure those things are safe?" Magnus asked as Alec climbed into one

"Of course they are" Alec said "If you know how to drive it"

"That really is not helping" Magnus said looking at the vehicle uneasily

"Don't worry Mags" Alec said extending his hand towards him "I'll keep you safe"

Magnus stared between his hand and the motorbike until finally giving up and taking Alec's hand. They moved the bikes to the water and everyone climbed into one. Jace, Simon, and Alec were driving while the rest were with their own partners. Magnus climbed behind Alec and looked at the water with fearful eyes. Even though he was not scared of water, it still brought some really bad memories from his childhood.

"Don't worry. I won't let you drown" Alec said softly smiling at his boyfriend. Magnus just nodded, gulping loudly and trying not to think too much about the water "Hold on tight and don't let go, no matter what"

Magnus did as instructed and wrapped his arms around Alec's waist. He pushed his body closer to Alec, trying to stay as secure as he could.

Jace called loudly that they were going on a race and everyone agreed. The countdown from three to one started and then they all started moving. Alec was going to an incredible speed, water splashed around them. When a wave came towards them, Alec moved the motorbike to the right and approached the wave, making them both jump as they passed over the wave. Magnus yelped at the sudden jump and wrapped his arms even more tightly around Alec's waist. He buried his face on Alec's back and tried to ignore that they were in the middle of the ocean and if they fall, they would probably drown.

They race ended leaving Alec as a winner. He whooped loudly and turned to look over his shoulder at Magnus who was looking around with wide eyes and obviously scared.

"Hey, you alright?" Alec asked softly

"Y-Yeah" Magnus asked "Just…shocked we're so far away from the shore"

"We can go back if you want" Alec offered knowing about Magnus's trauma with water since what had happened with his father

"N-No" Magnus shook his head "It's alright…just, don't let me fall"

"Never" Alec promised.

They continued driving around the water, making more races, and seeing who could make the highest jump over a wave. They spent a long time just playing around until they decided it was time for lunch. They went back towards the shore and moved towards the towels they had laid in the sand. They took out the food they had prepared for the evening and started eating, chatting happily as they ate.

Alec took out his camera, which he had brought because he could never leave without a camera, and started taking pictures of the landscape as well as everyone else fooling around. He got some really nice shots that he promised would post on his blog later.

Eventually, night started to fall. After lunch, every couple had gone for a walk on their own so they all could have some alone time. Alec got some amazing shots of Magnus walking by the sand, some of the waves, some of shells they found in the sand, and some of the sunset. He got a particular photo he loved the instant he saw the result. It was of Magnus, walking near the shore of the ocean. The water reached his ankles as a wave had just crashed. He was staring towards the horizon, so his back was towards the camera. The sun was setting just in front of Magnus and it gave him the perfect shadow. Magnus's body was all black, but you could easily make out the shape. The ocean was blue with a few orange-y colors as it reflected the sun, and the sky was a mix of red, orange, and pink as the sun started to hide. Magnus posture was relaxed, yet strong. As if he was facing the ocean and telling him he was standing strong and not breaking down. It warmed Alec's heart and he promised to post it as soon as he could get to his laptop.

When the sun was gone everyone got together once more by the towels on the sand. Magnus had asked for permission at the hotel to build a campfire, which it had been granted. Jace and Alec built the fire while everyone else settled the towels around it and got the chips and marshmallows for the night. The sky was spotless and you could see the stars perfectly. The air was clear and the night was fresh, it was perfect.

When everyone was seated around the small fire, Simon took out his guitar and started playing softly as everyone talked about everything and nothing.

"It's amazing, isn't it?" Izzy asked suddenly "How far we've gone"

"Yeah…Look at us!" Jace exclaimed "Izzy's the next covergirl, Simon will soon sign his music contract with his band, Clary's clothes are being sold in New York, Magnus is getting his own fashion show, Alec is finally working professionally, and I have a movie premiere on Tuesday"

"Who would have thought" Clary hummed with a soft smile

"Not to mention Izzy and Simon are going to be parents" Alec said

"Things are finally looking good, aren't they?" Izzy smiled hugging her knees close to her chest.

And that's exactly what it was…everything was looking good, turning to be amazing. And even if each of them had have more than a few bumps in their life, they always got through it. Magnus sighed snuggling closer to Alec as they lay down looking up at the stars. He lay his head on his chest as Alec played with his hair. They didn't talk, they didn't move. They just lay there in perfect contempt, knowing that whatever had happened the day before was history and they would work through it together when the right time came.

Is it long enough? What about the fluff? I also tried working with the other characters as I read some reviews that you wanted to read more about Izzy and the others! So here they are ;)

Next chapter, The Movie Premiere! :D I'll try writing and posting the next chapter as soon as I can :) I promise!
