The View from La Tour Eiffel


Paris was beautiful on the street, but it was breathtaking from air. The sun reflected on the golden dome of the Les Invalides. The moss green gardens of the Jardíns du Trocadéro across the Seine and the long stretch of Champ de Mars spread out around them like a carpet.

Elaine was smiling brightly. "I wish I could fly." She leaned against the railing of the Eiffel Tower and spread her arms as the wind whipped up.

When she glanced back over her shoulder, she found Severus staring heatedly at her with the most peculiar look on his narrow face.
