Here's a new chapter! thanks for all those who reviewed! I would not be here without you, so yeah! thank you :)

I own nothing!

Magnus and Alec were working on a photo-shoot on Friday. Later that day they had to go to dinner at the Lightwood's household. The twins and Izzy had been released from the hospital on Wednesday night. Everyone had seen the babies at the hospital, including Maryse and Simon's sister, Rebecca. Simon's parents had kicked him out when he was still in high school and he had lived with Clary until he moved out to his own apartment. Simon hadn't spoken to his parents since high school, and even though he would never dare to approach their house, he still sent them letters and tickets for his shows, but they never went. On his latest letter he had sent photos of the twins. Simon had long ago accepted his parents would never approve of his choices in life, so he had moved on. Now he had his own family and he couldn't be happier.

So Magnus and Alec were working on a photo-shoot before they had to leave for dinner with the family. They were excited to see the twins once more. Magnus had made them some outfits that he knew Izzy would approve of. He couldn't wait to see Izzy's reaction to the clothes. Also, Magnus and Alec had some news to give.

One was about Magnus's clothing store that would be opening at the beginning of next year. Magnus have gone through some meetings and they came to an agreement and signed the contract. They had found the perfect place to open the store and were not talking about the details.

The other news were that they had finally decided on their vacations. A few months back Alec and Magnus had decided that they needed some time for themselves. Magnus had suggested on going on a small holiday. Alec had agreed, but they hadn't mentioned it again after that. But now they had and were just clearing their schedules.

So now they were finishing with the scheduled photo-shoots. The next issue of the magazine was ready to be published. Magnus had already chosen someone to take over the magazine while they were gone and they had already found a new photographer.

"I miss Isabelle" Magnus pouted as the models filled inside the set.

"You saw her a few days ago" Alec retorted

"I miss seeing her modeling" Magnus answered with a roll of his eyes.

"She wants to come back as soon as possible" Alec told him

"She better!" Magnus said "Cover Girl are waiting for her"

When all the models arrived, Alec walked away from Magnus and went to take his camera. All the models were new and specially called for this photo-shoot. It would be the very first announcement of Magnus's shop. But since the models were new, neither Magnus or Alec knew them and that made working with them harder.

"Good morning ladies" Magnus said smiling broadly

All of them greeted him back with a kind smile. Some of them kept turning their towards Alec who was getting his camera ready. Magnus noticed, but didn't comment. He knew his boyfriend was good looking. More than once had he found people checking him out, but Alec never noticed. Sometimes it hurt Magnus knowing how low Alec thought about himself. Alec didn't think of himself as attractive, and if someone told him so he wouldn't believe them. It was still hard for Alec to believe Magnus when he complimented him. In some selfish part of Magnus, he was glad about that, though. It meant Alec would never leave him for someone much better.

"Alright!" Alec called approaching them "We should get going if we want to get this over with"

"Very well" Magnus grinned "Come along!"

Magnus, Alec, the models, and a stylist crew went towards a building were many events took place. Many weddings were celebrated there for its beautiful gardens and salons. There was a crystal house, a secret garden, and many different settings.

"So…we're taking some photos out here in the garden" Magnus informed the models "And then we'll move inside"

Magnus instructed a group of models to follow Alec so the photo-shoot could start. While the first group left with Alec, Magnus stayed with the other group sorting out the outfits for the other models.

"He's so cute!" One of the models gushed as they all stared after Alec while he walked off.

"He is, isn't he?" Magnus smirked

"I wonder if he's single?" One of them wondered aloud.

"Sorry to disappoint you ladies" Magnus said extending his left hand and flashing the ring he was wearing "He's taken"

Magnus smirked as all the models' eyes widened and turned to look away from him with quick apologizes. The ring was nothing but the promise ring Alec had given him on Christmas…but they didn't need to know that. As long as they knew Alec was his, it was enough.

"For some reason" Alec started once they had moved inside and were just finishing the photos with the last models "Some of these models think we're engaged…you don't happen to be behind this, do you?"

"Well…not exactly" Magnus smiled sweetly at his boyfriend "I might have shown them the promise ring…though our relationship status was left to interpretation"

"You're impossible" Alec shook his head, but a small smile was drawn on his lips

"They asked me if you were single!" Magnus protested "I was not about to send them all towards you…"

"They wouldn't have gone after me" Alec shook his head "Plus, they're girls"

Magnus laughed at his boyfriend's reaction. He leaned down to give him a quick peck on his cheek and moved back towards the models. Alec tried to shake off the blush that had risen towards his cheeks, but it was impossible. One of the models approached him as he changed the lenses on his camera. Her name was Anastasia (Anna for short) and she had become his friend quiet quickly in this photo-shoot. Compared to the other models, she had not been trying to flirt with him…not like he had noticed all the others who had, but somehow she seemed more friendly than the others.

"You guys are so cute" She gushed making Alec blush once more "How long have you been together?"

"We'll have our one-year-anniversary in a couple of months" Alec answered with a happy smile

"Awn! That's so adorable!" She exclaimed "Do you have something planned for that day?"

"Well…I don't know" Alec sighed "We'll be on a holiday for that day. He probably has something planned"

"You should do something for him!" Anna said happily "Like a romantic dinner, or take him out to a special place"

"That hardly seems to cut it" Alec said with a small frown "I mean…I want to do something special, because he deserves it, but I still need to figure out what. I'm not the kind of guy who does something romantic…I'll probably end up just giving him something"

"Well, sometimes a gift is perfect" Anna said with a thoughtful look in her face "Give him something special, something you would never give to anyone else"

Anna was then called to get ready for the photos. She winked at Alec and walked off towards the place where the photo-shoot was taking place. Alec frowned, deep in thought, trying to figure out what he could give Magnus that he didn't already have, and that no one else could get…Well, there was something. Magnus and Alec had been dating for so long, and they hadn't done anything that was…sexually interesting. Yeah, they had make-out sessions every now and then, which often lead to wandering hands and shirts being taken off…but nothing was taken farther down the belt. Alec knew Magnus wanted more. Hell, sometimes HE wanted more…but he was still scared of showing Magnus all of his scars. True, Magnus had seen the scars on his wrists, but never those on his tights. They were much uglier than those of his wrists, far deeper, far worse…Would Magnus still love him after seeing ALL of him? Magnus was perfect in every aspect ever thought about. Could someone as perfect as Magnus still love someone as damaged as Alec after all? Many times had Magnus told him he would never leave him, he would stay with him no matter what. Magnus had promised Alec never to rush into things, never to force him into something he didn't want…and so far he had kept his promise. Magnus had given him so many things, could Alec give him this one thing?
