I'm going to make the chapter a bit longer from now on. Just a forewarning their is some Bella bashing in here. So if your a Bella fan please take no offense. She will still be in the story, and have a happy ending but not right now.
Chapter Three
Rose's point of view
Edward went into the bathroom with his phone. I knew that he wanted to talk with his family members in private. I didn't blame him at all. I sighed, as I wrapped the soft sheet around my body. It just got done raining outside and the air is slightly cold. I didn't mind the cold at all, but I did like the feel of the silk sheet wrapped around my warm body.
"Rose," said Edward as he walked out of the bathroom and sat back down in his seat next to me. He had a frown on his handsome face, that shouldn't belong there. His golden brown hair was sticking up, probably from running his hands through his hair regularly. "How would you feel about meeting my family?"
"I would love too," I told him. Something else had to happen to him to make him more worried than finding the right words on asking me to meet his family. "But I think that there is some other reason why you wanted me to me your family than a spur of the moment idea?"
"Your right," he said staring straight into my eyes. "My mom called me."
I grabbed his hand, knowing he was going to have a hard time talk about this. He gave me a smile, before saying, "There's a vampire that is making a newborn army trying to destroy my family. I'm needed back there to help them kill her. If I don't they will end up dead, and I can't have that on my conscious."
"All right," I told him. "It's a good thing that you're going to go help out your family, but I have a feeling that there is something else you're keeping from me."
Edward sighed, "I knew that I couldn't keep anything from you."
"I'm observant," I said to him. "You have to be in my line of work."
"Last year, I started dating a human girl named Bella Swan," said Edward, who looked like he was lost in thought. "She was different from any human I met. I wasn't able to read her mind whatsoever. Her blood even called to me, and I had a hard time trying not to drain her of her blood. She found out about my family and I being vampires. We invited her to play a game of baseball with my family one evening. We didn't know that there were three nomadic vampires in our territory. They heard us playing and wanted to play too. They fed on humans, and we didn't want Bella near them. Wind blew in and moved Bella's hair out of the way and, James, one of the nomads caught her scent. He was a tracker, and he wanted Bella's blood at any cost."
"Did you fight him?" I asked him.
"Yeah," said Edward playing with the edge of the sheet. "He's dead. His mate, Victoria, wants revenge. I'm needed back there before she tries to kill any more human beings."
I squeezed his cold hand, wanting to give him some comfort. I gave him one of my men eater smiles that tend to drive to guys wild. "I will come with you. I might be able to help your guys."
"I don't think you're strong enough to take on my type of vampire," said Edward.
I glared at him, "We don't know about that yet. I have killed of bunch of Strigoi, and I'm not afraid of going up against one of your kinds. I've died twice and I won't be scared to die again."
"All right," said Edward trying not to piss me off. He gave me a small smile before looking at the thin sheet in-between his fingertips. "I'm just worried what my family will think about you."
"About me being a dhampir or about us dating?" I asked him.
Edward stared at me. His gold eyes, that I think are sexy, stared into my brown ones. "A bit of both actually. I know Carlisle will want to know more about your kind. Esme will be happy that I found someone that makes me happy. Emmet, Alice, are two of my siblings that like me going out with Bella. Jasper I don't know what he would think, but he would probably side with his mate. Rosalie hated Bella with a passion."
"Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see what they are like towards me," I told him. "Besides, I think that I can take care of myself. I have been for a while. Now, when are we going."
He smiled. "I have a flight booked for us ten minutes after sunset."
"I guess we should start packing."
"Yeah. That would be a good idea."
Lissa's point of View
My life has been hard since the bond between Rose and I disappeared. I feel like I was missing a piece of me. Things were constantly changing around me since I became queen. Half of the time I don't even know what I'm doing. I constantly feel like I'm being watched, and not by ghost either. I know something bad is going to happen, but will I be strong enough to fight when the time comes.
Rosalie's point of view
I was tired of living in my house. It has been harder for me not to harm Bella Swan. That woman was getting on my last nerve since she moved into our home after her father died. I know that she is depressed over Edward leaving her, but that happened more than two months ago. She should at least try to move on from him. It doesn't even help that she has that mutt always coming over here. I can't stand the smell of wet dog, and I honestly don't know how the others are handling it.
"Kids, meeting," yelled Carlisle. I knew that he only yelled for Bella's benefit. I threw down a red rag that I was washing my BMW with, before I walked into the house at human pace. I love my vampire speed, but I wasn't in the mood to see Bella just yet. Even through I can't hurt her physically doesn't mean I can't annoy her to death.
My family, including Bella and her mutt, where in the living room. All of them were waiting for me. It was weird with Edward not being here for this meeting. I took a seat next to my husband and stared at my father.
"I called you all here because of Victoria has been creating more vampires," said Carlisle. "This time she is going further than Seattle. They 're reports of animal-like deaths down in Spokane."
"What if that's a different incident," said Jasper.
"It could be," said Carlisle. "But they just look like the recent murders that haven been happening down in Seattle. So I think Victoria is going to go all over Washington to keep the police off of her trail."
"Are you saying that no humans in the state of Washington are safe?" asked the mutt, otherwise known as Jake Black. I know that he has felt towards Bella, but she just doesn't know.
"Yes, well, anything can happen to humans at any time that are not caused by anything supernatural. As for the humans in the stated of Washington aren't safe from the supernatural." Carlisle told him. "Now there is some good news that Esme will tell you."
"Edward's coming home," said Esme, with joy in her voice. "He doesn't want to let us fight without him being here."
"Do you know when he's coming home?" asked Bella, with a smile on her face. I can tell that she's happy that Edwards' return. I knew that's what she wanted for some time.
"He should be coming sometime this week," said Esme. "He has something that he needs to do before he does. When I talked to him earlierhe seemed really happy. So he might be coming back here to stay even after Victoria is taken care of."
"That's good," said Bella, with a sparkle in her eyes.
"Finally," said Emmet. "When he gets back I can smack him around a bit. Maybe remove a limb of his for a while."
"No, you won't," said Esme, looking right at my husband. I don't know what he sees in that human he's so fond of. "Nothing bad is going to happen to Edward. Is that clear."
"Yes," said Emmet, as he looked towards the ground.
"Jacob," said Carlisle. "Can you see if you can organize a meeting between the pack and us for noon tomorrow."
"I can see what I could do," he said, walking closer towards our front door. "But I'm not going to make any promises."
Jake's point of view
I shifted into my wolf form. I was finally making some progress with getting Edward off of Bella's mind, and now he is going to come back and take her away from me. I knew that I wanted her to be my wife since I was a young child. During the summers when she visited her father in Forks, I slowly grew attracted to her. She was pretty and smart. She was different from all of the other girls that lived on the reservation. Even though I don't own her heart, I was trying to make her see that I was a better guy for her. She just didn't want to get him out of her head, even when she was hanging around me for the day while the Cullen's had to hunt.
So Edward's coming back? Asked Leah, who was patrolling the border between the Cullen's land and the reservation. We didn't know it was even possible for her to change. There were no records of a female shape-shift in our history. She shifted in front of her parents and brother. Her father saw what was happening to her and called me over to help her through her transformation, instead of Sam. Her father, Harry, had a heart attack as soon as she shifted into a wolf. He was rushed to the hospital. He survived, and still is living to this day, but is on a special diet and exercise routine.
Unfortunately, I thought. Bella is happy that he's coming back.
She does love him, snapped Leah.
Unfortunately, I thought to her. Although now is not the time to be thinking about how to get Bella to be mine. I need to get to Sam's and schedule a meeting between the pack and the Cullen's. They found some interesting information today that might involve Victoria.
With our speed, Leah and I, made it to Sam's place quickly. We went into two different ares to change back into our clothing. I know that Leah feels uncomfortable changing in front of us, and it is understandable since she is the first female shape-shifter surrounded by males. I also knew that she was a bit uncomfortable with seeing Sam and Emily together. Leah and Sam have been going out for years and then all of a sudden he drops her for her cousin. She didn't know it at the time that Sam imprinted on Emily, and he really didn't have a choice to stay with Leah. Most of the guy pack members think she is a bitch, except for me. I know what she is going through to see someone you love, love someone else.
"Leah," said Sam, as he walked out of the house with the pack following him. "Why aren't you on patrol?"
"Jake has the necessary information that you should hear," said Leah, coldly. "He thought that I should be here."
"Jake is she telling the truth?" asked Sam as he looked right at me.
I was good at keeping unwanted information away from the pack mind. I owed Leah so I decided to lie for her. "Yeah, I thought that she should come and here what need to be said because it only doesn't just involve her but also the pack in general."
"What's going on?" asked Paul, before he took a big bite of Emily's homemade blueberry muffins.
"That's what I would like to know," said Sam.
"Victoria's going all over the state of Washington, making newborn vampires," I said to him. "Carlisle thinks that no person might be safe from her. They want to meet with us tomorrow at noon to talk more in detail."
"All right," said Sam, nodding his head. "We will meet with them tomorrow. Now, Leah, you need to finish up your shift. Jake, your shift starts in ten minutes."
Tomorrow afternoon
Rose's point of view
Less than ten minutes, I was going to meet my boyfriend's family. I was wearing a hot pink tank top and jean short shorts. I had my stake hidden inside of my leather boot. Edward was driving to a small town called Forks in Washington. It was hitting for him and his family since they do sparkle like a fairy. Although, I would never tell him that.
"This is a town that I wanted to get away from," he said as he pulled into the driveway of a house that looked like it came out of a magazine. It didn't look like it should belong in a small town. It looked like it was made by glass and only glass. Lissa would have loved a house like this. It was still painful to even think about her and her betrayal.
"Come on," he said, taking my hand and leading me to the house. When we came towards the door, he opened them and walked in first. I followed after him. Giving him some space just in case he wanted to hug his family. He walked over to the coffee table and saw a small white piece of line paper there. He turned towards me, and said, "They're not home. They went to the treaty line to discuss something that's going on with Victoria. I think that we should go to them."
"All right," I said. "Are we going to ride in your car or walk to wherever this place happens to be. I'm not in the best boots to go hiking in. I can kick but in them and run, but I never did go hiking."
"I'll be running," he said smiling at me. "I'm going to take you on my back. Do you want to see how fats I can run?"
"Yeah," I said.
"Okay," he said. Within the next second, I was on his back, and he was flying through the forest. I loved this speed. I, surprisingly, was able to see everything clearly. Green, brown, and blue were intertwined within each other making an excellent picture of nature. He slowed down a lot. He was walking at a slower pace. "What do you think of my fast running?"
"I loved it," I said, trying to steady my feet on the ground below me. I was slightly sinking into the mud with my boots on. It wasn't a pleasant feeling either.
"Edward!" a scream came from the field in front of us. I had no clue who called him, but it couldn't be that good, like seeing his posture stiffened.
"Bella," said Edward. I guess that is a woman who just called him.
"I can't believe that you came back for me," said Bella.
What? Is this girl delusional?
"I didn't come back for you," said Edward. He grabbed onto my hand. I was standing behind him. "I came back her to fight Victoria and help my family clean up my mess."
"Edward," said another voice. This one was more musical than Bella's. She sounded motherly also. "Your back."
"I am," he said. "Mom, there is someone I want you to meet."
"Who, dear?" she asked.
I stepped around him, showing the two women our intertwined hands, "This is Rose Hathaway. She's my girlfriend."
