Chapter Six

Roses' point of View

"Rose," said an angelic voice that sounded close and really familiar. It was Lissa. What was she doing here? "I love you, Rose, please don't leave me."

"Lissa," I said, finally opening my eyes. Lissa was kneeling by my side. She had tears running down her face. Her blond hair was tangled with some dried up twigs and leaves. She was only wearing a nightgown and her feet were bare. I noticed that she was slightly shivering from the summer night's breeze.

As soon as I sat up, her arms immediately wrapped around my waist, and her head was on my shoulder. I slowly rubbed circles onto her back. She held onto me tightly.

"I'm sorry," she muttered. "I'm so sorry for what I and our friends did to you. We didn't even know what we were even doing, or what I was doing. I don't know what happened. One minute I was at my desk getting ready for another Royal fundraiser, then I woke up here. God, I royally fucked up our friendship."

I took in a deep breath. Was it possible that she was telling me the truth? Was she tricked into saying all those hurtful words? What about our friends? Where they all tricked into behaving badly about me also? Were my parents also involved in this? Was Dimitri? Stop, I told myself, don't think about this right now they have hurt you too much too soon.

"Do you know where we are?" I asked, trying to change the subject. My eyes scanned the area looking for any threats. Even though I wasn't her guardian anymore, I was always going to protect her.

"No," she said sighing. She bit her lip. "I know that you're trying to change the subject, Rose, and I don't blame you one bit."

I gave her a hesitant smile. She did know me so well. "I just can't believe something like this happened to us. I thought that we would have somewhat of a peaceful life, not counting the Strigoi attacks."

"I know," she said, sighing. She ran her fingers through her messy blond hair. "We need to figure out who did this."

"Definitely."

Bella's Point of View

I hate her. Why did he need to bring her back with him? What was so special about that tramp? She wasn't even human. She didn't have the same gift as I do. Why would he even want to be with a girl like her, who would be willing to sleep with a bunch of people? I need to do something. I need to get my Edward back. I'm not going to let her brainwash my Edward any longer.

Edward's point of view

"Carlisle, do you what's wrong with her?" I asked him.

His golden eyes shown with worried. "I have no idea. She seems perfectly healthy. She is just unconscious. I'm also not one hundred percent sure since I don't know if there are any diseases that only happen with her kind."

I looked at my Rose. Her body was shaking. Her forehead was glistening with sweat. Her screams died down into small whimpers and moans.

"I think she will be alright," said Esme, as she placed her hand on my shoulder. I smiled at her, taking comfort in the fact that she wasn't angry at me for surprisingly bringing another woman into the secret. Even though I don't that that the Volturi would have a problem with Rose keeping the secret since she will be exposing her secret also.

A small knocked sounded on the doorway. I turned my head along with Carlisle, and Esme. There stood Bella biting her bottom lip. "Edward, can I talk with you?"

"Bella," I said sighing. " I don't think that it is the right time right now?"

"Please," she whispered, as her brown eyes started to water. "It will only take a couple of minutes."

My eyes wandered over to Rose. She was still in the same condition two minutes ago. I turned towards Carlisle and Esme. "Please watch over her for me," I whispered to them, so Bella didn't hear me.

'Of course,' whispered Carlisle and Esme in their thoughts.

I left the room, having a bad feeling in my gut.

Rosalie's point of view

"What do you think about her?" asked Emmet, as we were outside of the house sitting at one of the lounge chairs.

"I honestly believe that Rose is better for Edward then Bella," I told him. I wasn't going to sugar coat anything to him.

"I agree with you," he said, taking my hands into his larger ones. His golden eyes looked into mine, as he said, "Even though that I love Bella like a sister, she's just not the one for our brother."

"I just hope that Bella doesn't cause any problems for Edward and Rose," I told him.

"Bella is not going to be a problem," said Alice, as she ran over towards us. "I can see that she'll come to terms of Edward dating someone else. It will just take her some time to get used to seeing them together."

"What do you think of Rose?" I asked her.

Alice shrugged her shoulder's. "I honestly don't know what I think of her. I haven't spent any one on one time with her so I can't get a feel for her personality. Although, she has great fashion sense. Maybe she will be our third shopping buddy."

"True," I muttered. "Bella always passed up shopping with us, and never really had good fashion sense."

Emmet tensed. His eyes narrowing towards the woods, where a wet dog scent lingered there. Figures, I thought to myself. Jake Black couldn't stay away from his precious Bella for one day.

Rose's Point of View

"Let me get this straight," I said to her, as I helped her climb over a fallen tree trunk. She gave me a small smile in thanks before she carefully stepped over a medium size rock. She had her hand on my shoulder, using me for extra support as we walked through this dense forest. "After Christian gave you this necklace, that supposedly has been in his family throughout generations, sent you all types of negative thoughts and emotions towards me and anyone who openly supported me."

"Yes," she said, walking right next to me. "I could see everything that was going on around me, but I couldn't just do nothing about it. I wanted some many times to get your attention, but it never worked. I stopped trying after a while. I was weak."

"Your not weak, Lissa, as long as you did try to fight this compulsion. How did the others start bad-mouthing me?" I asked her.

Lissa winced. "I noticed that Christian was acting differently two days before he handed me the necklace. I just thought that with everything going on with Tasha that he was going to be a bit moodier than he normally is. I haven't seen Mia nor Eddie since awhile. I can't be to sure if he was affected by this curse. Dimitri started acting that way roughly the same time as Christian. Emily I honestly don't know enough about her to know if she has been effect as the rest of us."

I sighed. Starring at the millions of twinkling stars above me. I looked at Lissa. "What about my parents? Are they affected too? Or did they really pay you to keep me occupied?"

"Rose," said Lissa, biting her lip. Her eyes held both concern and worry. "I don't think that they were affected."

"I figured that out," I muttered bitterly.

"It is possible that they can be," she said. "Neither one of us really knows your parents well enough to know if they have been affected."

"I know," I told her. "It's just hard. I figured that after the whole me dying again would bring us closer together. I guess I was wrong."

"Do you see that house?" asked Lissa suddenly.

"Yes." The house was in the middle of a clearing. It was about the size of two sheds pushed against each other. There were vines crawling up the sides of the house, blocking out most of the windows. Smoke was coming from the chimney. It reminded me of the house from the movie Hocus Pocus. "I don't like this Lissa. It feels like we went back in time."

Lissa looked back to the house then looked at me once again. "Your right it does look like that house somewhat. Do you think we should knock?"

"I'm not sure," I told her.

"We have been walking forever," she said. "I don't think that we're going to find anyone else out here. Besides, I don't really like walking in the woods at night."

"Alright," I said sighing. "I want you to stand right behind me at all times."

"Okay."

She stood behind me as I knocked on the door to the cottage.

"Damn it," whispered an unknown voice from inside.

The door slammed open making Lissa and I both jump. A shadowy figure slowly made its way towards the door.

"Andre!" gasped Lissa.

"Hello, little sister."
