The Tension over the Breakfast Table


The brown haired man stared up at her as she placed his plate in front of him, his face twisted in concern. She frowned down at him before turning away.

"You should let them eat Severus," she said touching his shoulder gently as she came to sit on his right side.

With a scowl he flicked his wrist and attacked his own breakfast with fervor.

"Miss—"

"Not one word out of you Lupin—not until I've had at least two full cups of coffee," Severus snarled.

Elaine sent Lupin her own reproving glare as she pored Severus his espresso.
