As promise here is another chapter. Once again I apologize for the very extremely late delay, but I was able push out a chapter, I really hope you guys enjoy the chapter.

Two months later

Olivia and Bayard sat in the waiting room waiting to see the doctor. Today they will find out what they were having. Bayard squeezed Olivia's hand, "You sure you want to find out what we're having," Bayard asked. Olivia had been going back and forth on the subject.

Olivia nodded, "Yeah, I'm sure, I can't wait another five months without knowing." Olivia said as she turned to face Bayard, "Do you want to know?" She asked making sure he was ok with them finding out.

Bayard nodded, "I'm sure, I found out with Jessica, so why not." Bayard said.

"Mrs. Ellis," The nurse said smiling at them as they walked up to her, "Right this way," the nurse said still smiling. She guided them to their room, "Put this gown on and Dr. Corday will be in soon." The nurse said before leaving out.

Olivia put the gown on and laid on the examination table, she turned to Bayard, "What do you think we're having?"

Bayard thought for a moment, "I think we're having a boy," Bayard said smiling. Secretly he wanted a boy, he didn't think he could survive in a house full of women.

Olivia nodded, "Why a boy?"

"I just have this gut feeling that we're having a little boy." Bayard said as Dr. Corday walked in.

"Well hello Olivia, Bayard how are you feeling today." Dr. Corday asked as she washed her hands and put on some gloves.

Olivia sighed, "Good for a pregnant woman." Olivia said.

Dr. Corday had to laugh, "How's the morning sickness?" Corday asked, sitting on a chair rolling it next to Olivia.

Olivia groaned, "Horrible, every morning I feel like crap, then it starts back up around noon for half hour." Olivia said, she hated being sick like this.

Corday nodded, " So it hasn't let up a little," Corday asked, Olivia shook her head, "Ok, I'm going to prescribe some medicine for it, hopefully that will help, if not we'll try something different." Corday said.

"The medicine, it will be ok for the baby right?" Olivia asked, she didn't want to harm her unborn child, even if that meant being sick like a dog for a couple of months.

Corday smiled, "It is, I wouldn't prescribe anything that could harm you or your baby." Corday said turning on the ultrasound machine, "Ok then let's see your baby shall we, this will be cold," Corday said squeezing some gel on Olivia's stomach. She moved the probe around before finding the heart beat. "There is your baby," Corday said smiling at the couple.

Olivia looked at the screen in awe as tears filled her eyes, "That's our baby Bay." Olivia said her eyes still glued to the screen.

Bayard nodded, "Yeah that's our baby. Can you tell if it's a boy or a girl." Bayard asked.

Corday nodded, "Sure can, you guys want to know," She asked glancing at them, they nodded, she turned back to the screen, "It looks like you guys are having a little baby boy." Corday said smiling.

Bayard couldn't help the grin that formed on his face. He was going to have a little boy, "My little boy," Bayard whispered.

Olivia smiled at the screen, "He's ok though right?" Olivia asked Corday.

Dr. Corday nodded, "He has a healthy heart beat, everything looks good at the moment." The doctor said taking a couple of screen shots. "I'm going to make some copies for you." She said giving Olivia a cloth to wipe the gel off her stomach.

After picking up the copies and scheduling another appointment, Bayard and Olivia headed off to grab some lunch before going to pick up Jessica from school.

Jessica got into the car excited, "So am I having a little brother or sister?" Jessica asked popping her head between the seats looking between her father and mother.

Olivia laughed, "What, no hi or how are you doing," Olivia said.

Jessica rolled her eyes, "Ok, how are you guys doing today?" Jessica asked.

Olivia shook her head, "Good, how was school?" Olivia asked knowing that she was torturing her.

"Great, so brother or sister," Jessica said wanting to know.

Bayard couldn't help but laugh, "If you must know you'll be having a little brother," Bayard said as Olivia passed her a copy of the sonogram.

Jessica smiled looking at the picture, "Cool, he already looks adorable."

"I would've thought you'll want a little sister." Bayard said stopping at a stop light glancing back at Jessica who was still looking at the picture.

Jessica nodded, "I did, but then I thought about if I had a sister when she got older she would want to borrow my stuff."

Olivia and Bayard laughed, "Don't like sharing your stuff I see." Olivia said still laughing.

Jessica shrugged, "I do but I also don't like my stuff messed up."

"You do realize brothers mess up your stuff also," Bayard said.

Jessica thought about it for a minute, "True, well it still be nice to have a little brother." Jessica said taking a picture of the sonogram with her phone then sending it to Lisa.

Later that day, Olivia and Bayard were making dinner together, they always tried to make dinner together at least once a week and sit down and eat together as a family. "Hey Bay Don talk to me yesterday about taking the sergeant exam." Olivia said as she added some salt to the mashed potatoes.

Bayard nodded, "Really, are you going to take the exam?" He asked.

Olivia shrugged "Maybe, Don really want me to take it. I just...I know what it all in tells, when he's gone I'm in charge." Olivia sighed, "I think he wants me to take over when he retires." Olivia said facing Bayard.

Bayard walked over to her, "How you do know that?"

"He's been talking about retiring lately...I just don't know if I want to be in charge, that will require less time in the field. I like busting perps and slapping handcuffs on them." Olivia said with an evil gleam in her eyes.

Bayard laughed, "I'm sure you'll be able to go out in the field, probably not as much, but I do think you'll make a great Captain." Bayard said checking on the pot roast.

Olivia smile, "I'll think about it some more." Olivia said before removing the mashed potatoes from the heat and starting the gravy.

Soon they we're sitting down eating dinner, "So have you guys thought about any names yet?" Jessica asked looking between her parents.

"Umm, not really, why, have you thought of some names for him." Olivia asked.

Jessica nodded, "I like the names Bailey, Kendall, Preston, and Nathan." Jessica said smiling.

Olivia chucked, "I like Kendall and Nathan, what about you Bay?" Olivia asked.

Bayard thought for a moment, "I like them, I also like the name Caden." Bayard said.

Olivia nodded, "I like Caden, we got some time to continue to think about names and narrow it down to two, one for the first name and one for the middle.

The next day Olivia walked into the squad room to find Nick and Fin already there, "Hey guys," Olivia said sitting down at her desk.

"Morning Baby Girl, how did it go at the doctors yesterday?" Fin asked leaning back in his chair.

"Great, we found out that we're having a little boy," Olivia said pulling out the sonograms to show them.

Nick smiled at the picture, "Are you happy about having a boy? I know most women always want a little girl." Nick said passing the photo to Fin.

Olivia shook her head, " Nick not all women want a girl, and I really didn't care. I just wanted a healthy baby." Olivia said.

"I know when Manda was pregnant I wanted a little girl, she wanted a boy." Fin said handing the photo back to Olivia.

"See not every women wants a girl Nick," Olivia said.

Nick rolled his eyes, "I stand by my statement," Nick said before going back to work.

Olivia rolled her eyes turning her attention to Fin, "How is Amanda and Allison doing?"

"Manda is sleep deprived but she's good, and Alli is just amazing, she don't sleep much but that is normal for a new born." Fin said smiling as he talked about his girls.

"That's good, guess I should prepare myself for the lack of sleep I'm going to experience." Olivia said.

"You're a detective, you're already sleep deprived," Nick said laughing.

Olivia laughed also nodding in agreement before standing up and walking towards Cragen's office, she knock and when she heard him say come in she walked in closing the door. "Hey I just wanted you to have this." Olivia said handing him a sonogram.

Cragen took the photo and looked at it with a smile on his face, "Did you guys find out what you're having?" Cragen asked.

Olivia nodded, "Yep, you're going to have a grandson," Olivia said smiling from ear to ear.

Cragen smiled looking at the photo, "A grandson, I'm happy for you Olivia." Cragen said setting the photo on his desk, "While your here have you thought about the sergeant exam any?" Cragen asked.

Olivia nodded, "Yeah, and I'm going to take it." Olivia said. Her and Bayard had talked about it some more this morning and that helped her make her mind up.

Cragen smiled, "Good, I'll set it up for this afternoon, is that good for you," Cragen said.

Olivia nodded, "Sure," Olivia said standing up and leaving.

That afternoon Olivia took the sergeant exam, afterwards Olivia called Cragen to check if there were any new cases. Cragen told her there wasn't and that she could take the rest of the day off. So Olivia decided to surprise Bayard at work. Olivia opened the door quietly seeing Bayard focusing on a file. She smiled and closed the door quietly before making her way behind him wrapping her arms around his neck kissing it.

Bayard was startled at first but relaxed when he realized it was Olivia. He set his file down before pulling Olivia onto his lap kissing her deeply.

There was a knock at the door, but before they had time to separate the person walked in, "Olivia...Ellis,"
