He was watching her from under black brows, where she huddled in the strangely out of place magenta armchair that dominated the corner of the laboratory.
"Tell me about what Molly told you," he finally said mildly.
Elaine looked up guiltily. "What makes you think that Molly said anything?"
He smiled a little, thin lips quirking. "Elaine," he said warningly. "Molly is a busybody of a most impressive degree and I know for a fact that Potter told her the good news of my return."
After a long moment she burst out, "Severus, what's this about a battlefield?"
