"Setsuna-mama?"
"Yes?"
"How long is a thousand years?"
"Quite long."
"Setsuna-mama?"
"Yes?"
"Is a thousand years too long?"
"Depends how you look at it."
"But is it too long for you?"
"Not really."
"Setsuna-mama?"
"Yes?"
"Are you lonely when you're guarding the Door of Time?"
"I'm used to it."
"But are you lonely?"
"A bit, yes."
"Are you lonely now?"
"No."
"Oh. Then you should stay here."
"I can't. I have to do my duty."
"But you'll stay for tonight, right?"ยจ
"Yes."
"Good. Will you read me a bedtime story? Haruka-papa and Michiru-mama don't do the funny voices like you do."
"Of course."
