Chapter 5: Payday and a Mysterious Helper

ROB had finally returned from a well deserved vacation only to find to his surprise that the mansion looked clean. This was the first time in a long time the other smashers finally cleaned up after themselves... or did they? Inspecting the place from top to bottom only to see the usual.

Ike was drinking, Wario was doing his daily morning routine, Snake was hidden in his box observing all the smashers due to his extreme paranoia, and Peach, Marth, and Zelda discussing beauty products. Strange, the mansion looks unusually clean. Looking around he saw a couple of new faces in the corner of the room. The Villager, Mega Man, The Wii Fit Trainers, Palutena, Rosalina and Luma, and Pac Man were standing in the corner awkwardly discussing how they felt being new fighters in the next generation of Super Smash Bros. ROB also saw two other faces in the corner with the new addition: Charizard, who formerly fought with Pokémon Trainer in Brawl, and Little Mac, who was a former assist trophy.

Suddenly, Master Hand came in the room with Mario. "I have an announcement to make! As you know, we have a new addition of fighters and some of you will not make it in the next game, Super Smash Bros. 4!" Upon the announcement the smashers frowned. "However! In celebration of a successful generation, I have decided tomorrow, we will have a free for all fight with coins on!" Hearing about free money, the smashers cheered. The new fighters stayed silent. All the smashers returned to their rooms and the new fighters reported to Master Hand to get their assigned rooms. ROB finally returned to his room and lay in bed until the next morning.

ROB woke up refreshed the next morning and returned to his normal duties. As always, he went through every room avoiding Snake and Samus' traps taking out their laundry. Reaching the new smashers' rooms, he found that Palutena and the Wii Fit Trainers' rooms were the tidiest meanwhile Charizard's room was a mess of all kinds of berries scattered around, Little Mac's room was almost identical to Ike's room. The only difference between their rooms is Little Mac's room had no trace of alcohol but there were cans of Energy Drinks lying around. Pac Man's room was scattered with all kinds of food. Mega Man's room was filled with nuclear waste that ROB carefully cleaned up and Villager's room was well decorated, it was like a house within the mansion. At least they're not as worse as the others. After finishing his laundry duties, ROB wondered the halls for hall duties only to find there was nothing to clean.

Outside, the children were playing as usual but with new playmates, Mega Man and Villager. ROB observed the children and thought of smiling at the thought of seeing the children play together. He then went off to his duties when he saw a nude Ike stumbling across the hall with a beer in his hand and finally collapsing. Sighing, ROB was about to carry the unconscious Ike to his room when he disappeared. Shrugging it off, ROB went to the kitchen and greeted the official chefs Bowser, Zelda, and Peach. The three smiled and greeted ROB back. An announcement came on. "Attention veteran smashers! The match is about to begin soon. Get ready!"

Upon that announcement, all the smashers quickly put on their battle gear and rushed to the stadium. An enraged, drunk, clothed Ike was heard coming down the stairs. Crowds cheered and roared for their favorite smashers. All the smashers from Brawl lined up. The stadium glowed and the area picked was light dimmed away to replicate the temple from the Legend of Zelda universe and the Fighters got ready to fight.

"3...2...1... GO!

The smashers dashed toward the first person they saw and started attacking one another. Money fell on the floor each time a player was attacked.

Finally, the last two fighters left were ROB and Wario because of their determination for money. The two fighter stared each other down. Wario used his motorcycle in attempt to run over Rob who used his laser eyes to destroy his motorcycle. Wario quickly got up and threw the parts at ROB who dodged all the pieces but got hit by the wheel. ROB was knocked down. Using this opportunity, Wario attempted to fart at ROB and end the match, but ROB got up in time to use his side special against Wario and knocked him out of the arena.

GAME!

ROB and the rest of the fighters returned to the mansion happy about their free earnings . Even Wario wasn't bitter about his defeat. The smashers applauded ROB for his victory. All was merry when someone suggested to throw a party before the next game came out. Immediately, decorations were put up in a blur and everyone was making a big mess. After the party, an annoyed ROB picked up a broomstick and dust pan. He was in the middle of cleaning when suddenly, all the trash disappeared. ROB assumed it was a gift from the smasher's almighty gods, the game developers and happily went to his room.
