Sorry the prologue is getting long, I really will try my hardest to keep the story and not leave it unfinished like I usually do, but I am really enjoying writing this! Thanks a lot for reading and reviews are very welcomed…loved… Please review ;)
oh...I had chapter three and four already ready, but somehow it disappeared out of my computer...I...I really want to brake something right now. the thing is that the story might get slower updates that I wanted because now I need to rewrite them, and that's going to be pretty boring. I just don't know what happened! I saved like 10 times!
Prologue part 2
Deep on space, floating aimlessly, were the trails of the battle the legion just contemplated, Thousands of chips, cables and metallic pieces that once conformed brainy.
One of the peaces started to emit a signal, making many other of the parts start to come together, after no more than a minute the scrap started to form a new being, when it finished forming the thing stood up.
"evil does not die…"
the creature opened his eyes, adjusting the sound of his voice from creepy brainy to emotionless brainiac
"it evolves…"
walking on the sidewalk was brainy, without any specific destination, he continued walking around new metropolis. He smiled at the many memories he had on this planet, the many people he protected. He then stopped when he arrived to the united planets lab, where he had worked for 2 years when he first arrived to this planet.
He stared at it blankly, he knew he couldn't stay there; his teammates would go looking for him immediately. He sighted.
There was no place for him to go, if he stayed on earth he would be found and colu wasn't an option, plus they probably hated him more than ever.
He decided to take his ship, the one he took when he was escaping from colu, refill it with energy and go around the universe exploring around, he would come back in a month or so, depending of the time it took to control his new emotions. He could go to the place he left his armor and get his mother chip, if it wasn't destroyed, before someone else took it.
When he stepped on his ship, he remembered:
'how could I have been so dumb! This ship can only be controlled by coluans using the connector on our hands…but I am no longer an android, I…I don't even know what I am anymore'
feeling his eyes slowly getting wet, he shook his head.
'I have some serious issues controlling my emotions, I need control myself.'
Walking towards the controllers, brainy tried to hack into the system to impose a route without the need of cables. Pressing a few keys he managed to turn on the engine, but he couldn't establish a route. Pressing his forehead and closing his eyes in stress, he sat to the chair. Thinking of possible solutions.
He then felt something strange on him, some kind of energy flowing inside. He jolted his eyes open when he realized the engine started to fly towards the sky.
Rubbing his eyes, brainy looked at the monitor, he was heading towards his scraps.
Brainy was very confused, his brain trying to find an explanation to the different illogical things that had happened to him this past week. But all of a sudden he felt incredibly tired, like he just wasted a lot of his energy.
"Seriosly, I need to check how all of this new 'organic like coluan' stuff works, its making me confused" brainy said to himself in a rather sleepy voice, followed by a yawn.
"...I should probably take one of those naps bouncy likes so much... just to rest my mind."
Without being able to resist too much Brainy closed his eyes, letting his drowsiness get the better of him, falling asleep on an instant.
The next he knew, his spaceship was already far on the galaxy.
Slowly opening his eyes, brainy stood up and stretched his muscles.
"I can get used to this" he smiled and looked at the monitor, which informed him that he had already arrived to his destination.
Brainy got out of the ship and started to look around, he was surprised to see there was barely any scrap, just some parts of his armor floating around, no sign of anything important.
Taking a part of his armor with the robotic arm of his ship, brainy's face saddened a little, it was weird seeing that you were just tore apart, yet there he was, now somehow organic.
He looked around the pieces of scrap, nothing seemed to be important, that's when his eyes locked something.
"thats... the chip! It wasn't destroyed!" then he picked it up with the arm, pulled it onto the ship and examined it, he smiled. He controled the arm to get the piece inside, being interrupted by a sound that made him flinch. He felt a presence behind him, by mere instinct instead of his usual dependence of his instruments. BUt before he could turn around he was hit on his back, making him fall to the floor.
"Brainiac 5…I see you survived the destruction of the 'brainiac chip' as well, how very troublesome." From the floor he looked behind him to see an unfamiliar figure, a robot that chukled at the teen.
"How the heck did he get into my ship?!" He asked to himself.
"How…interesting. I did not expect to survived the destruction of my chip, but I expected even less that you would survive AND turn into a bag of flesh."
Getting up, brainy looked around, his jaw dropped to realize the grey and purple robot in front of him was no other than the original brainiac, or so he assumed. Brainiac, he concluded, was made out of the old the pieces of his circuitry.
"How…" he regained his breath "How are you alive... how did you manage to reform with my armor, why... you…I destroyed your mother chip"
"You really thought you could destroy ME by just tearing my chip apart? If it were that easy, superman would have destroyed me long ago, but look at me. I am not a weakling like you are" the grey coluan looked disgusted at the sight of the other.
"I will destroy you Braniac, no matter what" the green coluan glared at his adversary
"Ha, you were barely a threat before, and you were the most powerful coluan of your time, you possesed the knowledge of all my descendants, you are not a threat to me now, I posses what you did before and more, I am...Brainiac 6! And you...you are just a defenseless orga-" Brainy beamed a purple beam toward the robot, making a huge explotion and filling the room with smoke.
Brainy stood with a canon on his hands, waiting for the smoke to clear so he could chekthe damage done to the robot, but suddenly a similar beam came back, with twice, pherhaps thrice the size he had shot, hitting brainy's chest andsending him flying to the wall.
'note to self: the pain of organics is amplified A LOT more that the one I use to feel'
"You thought that would harm me? you inferior lifeform."
Brainy was on the floor, bleeding considerably, but still able to stand."
"You forget, I still have 3 more levels of intellect that you do, brainiac, you'll regret underestimating me." Brainy smiled, pressing a button that triggered a huge purple beam cell, that locked brainiac 6 inside, he simply stood there emotionless.
"No, no longer I am brainiac you once feared so much, I am brainiac 6, your ancestor and your descendants, I have evolved, improved. No one can stop me. I have the knowledge of all the past brainiacs… but... but yours."
The cell keeping him locked dissapeared after another of his beam blasts, Brainy glared at him.
"Hand over the chip and I may have mercy for you and your friends." sending several hits towards the smaller coluan, that he managed to evade with his force field.
"You are no braniac 6, you're the same old creep with a new body" brainy kept evading the hits and running a way from him, trying to find a way to escape.
"oh, but isn't that what all the brainiacs are?" brainiac responded, making brainy send a death glare at him.
THe organic coluan kept evading all the hits, sweating as he felt his force field slowly die out. Brainiac just walked calmly towards him blasting his powerfull beams.
"Hand over you mother chip"
"You'll have to catch me first" Brainy shouted before he pressed a red button from the controlers on the space ship.
" Emergency shuttle activated, ejecting unit from the ship."
"Huh?!" The doors around the coluan slamed down, shutting him on a smaller ship inside the bigger one, the next second, he was expulsed from the ship with an incredible speed.
As soon as this happend, brainy pressed many of the buttons of the ship, typing as fast as he could. The ship's warp drive was activated and charged, making the ship 'jump' onto a ramdom sistem on a blink of an eye.
The stronger coluan stood agered...or what seemed like it. With his mechanical arms he grabbed and destroyed the wall of the smaller shuttle and looked around, to see that the other ship was no longer on the sol system. Brainiac stood on the middle of the scraps left.
"You can not escape from me, not now, not ever." Brainiac 6 grabbed the parts aroud him and the smaller ship he was ejected from, and started making a ship capable of following the Coluan.
