CHAPTER 25: THE SPLIT!
Sonic decided to take the train this time. He didn't want anything bad to happen like what happened before with Blaze and King Sombra.
"Hey Blaze, you've been really quiet lately. What's up?" asked Twilight, sitting next to her.
"I've been thinking about my own dimension. I was once a princess of my own world, but I was somehow sent to Sonic's world. It may have been the power of the Sol Emeralds... Anyway, the point is I was thinking about some of my very few friends there." explained Blaze.
"Very few?" said Twilight. "And what are the Sol Emeralds?"
"Yes. I'm not good at making friends. And the Sol Emeralds are the equivalent to Chaos Emeralds, but from my deminsion- ...Hang on..." Blaze trailed off.
"What's going on?" asked Twilight.
"…Sol... Chaos..." Then what's HER equivalent? thought Blaze.
"Twilight, do you have any sort of Gem or stone of power in this world?" asked Blaze.
"Umm... We have the Elements of Harmony." she replied.
"How many?"
"Six."
Blaze just sat there for a moment, thinking.
"OK, guys and gals, time to get off this loco." said Tails, walking into their carriage.
"To be honest, I would like to stay at Applejack's house." said Cream, sulking. "Choo." Cheese joined in.
"Well, if you want to, you can do that." replied Tails.
"And your welcome to stay." joined in Applejack.
When they got off the train, Tails told the group the plan.
"Ok, as you know, Rainbow Dash has been kidnapped by Eggman, meaning we can't leave her in his hands for long. So, we need to split ourselves into teams. One team will get back Rainbow Dash, and the other will look for the Chaos Emeralds and, maybe, some Rings."
"Sounds like a good plan." said Silver.
"Alright. The first team will be Shadow, Sonic, Blaze, Applejack, and Fluttershy."
There were a few wispers from the group.
"The second team will, as you may have worked out by now, will be Me, Silver, Twilight, Rarity, and Pinkie-pie."
"Hey! What about me?" said a voice familiar voice behind Tails.
"Is that..."
Knuckles came running towards the group. He stopped just about where Tails was.
"Knuckles, buddy, good to see ya!" said Sonic.
"And who is Knuckles?" asked Pinkie-pie.
"I'll explain." said Tails.
A long explanation later, Knuckles was on Tails' team. And it was time to move.
"See ya, guys!" said Sonic, running in the direction of Canterlot.
"Umm, Sonic? The Citadel is this way!" said Applejack.
"Yeah, but it's near Canterlot. We might as well suit up there!
"Suit up...? Hey, wait up!" shouted Applejack, running after Sonic. Blaze and Shadow ran after him too. Fluttershy was a bit unsure, but she summoned all her courage and flew off after them. Tails and the rest waved goodbye to the group.
"Now, where to start...?" asked Tails.
