Chapter 14: Some Interesting Facts

Jiro and Yosuke were still walking towards the the head office, Jiro was very determined and nothing was going to get in his way, while Yosuke was still a little on edge, but his friend needed him. "So Jiro, after all this time you never learned anything about your family whatsoever?" Yosuke asked trying to strike up a conversation, Jiro shook his head and didn't seem to respond. Yosuke shifted his eyes to the side and told himself "stupid that was a dumb question..." however Jiro actually began speaking, "My father was the only family I had, maybe all I needed. I wanted to know more about my family, but whenever I asked he usually changed the subject. Even as a kid I could tell there was a reason but I didn't want to put pressure on him. I can't really explain it, but, once we get to that office, I may learn something."

The 2 finally arrived in front of the main office, it was very larger compared to the other doors they saw. Jiro walked toward it and placed an ear on it to try and listen if anyone was inside, but the door was to thick for him to hear. "Anything pal?" Yosuke asked, "No, I can't hear a thing whatsoever." Jiro responded, while still trying to figure out a plan, but sadly they were interrupted by footsteps being heard. The 2 panicked a little and ran around to try and find somewhere to hide, the footsteps were coming from the left, so they went back to the hallway they had just gone walked down and hid behind a wall and waited for the owner of the footsteps to proceed, maybe this one was going to the office they are trying to get in, it may be of help to them.

A security guard finally showed up, however he didn't go into the office like they had hoped, now more determined, Jiro decided to use the security card he had and open the door, wether someone was in there or not didn't matter, Jiro was going to get information no matter what the odds. Yosuke stood right behind him, he was slightly nervous, but also kept a pose ready to fight just incase. Jiro opened the door and found a very large and somewhat luxuirous-like office and it seemed empty. "Wow, this office is amazing, I want it." Yosuke said in comeplete awe of the place, Jiro nodded, even he coulnd't deny it looke awesome. But there was no time for admiration, they needed to see if they could find some answers, Jiro decided to go to the front desk and see if there were files in the desk, thankfully there were but not the kind he was looking for as they talked about plans for the tournament.

Yosuke also looked around and looked for the cabinets that were behind Jiro, and he might have found something, "Jiro, you may want to look at this, it's about this Heihachi Mishima guy and his family!" This alerted Jiro and he couldn't ignore it, this Heihachi man was in his nightmares and he did get some vibes coming off him that made Jiro uneasy, he rushed over to him and looked at the file, it read some interesting stuff about this man, and there was info on his family, "Yosuke, Heihachi was the host of the 1st, 3rd, and 4th King Of Iron Fist Tournaments!" Jiro announced in awe, Yosuke looked surprised and looked at it himself. Jiro continued and read about his family, "It says here he had a wife who died, an adoptive son, and an illigitmate son. This is interesting-WHAT!?" Jiro paused as he saw something he didn't expect to see, Youske looked at the same part as him and his jaw dropped "No...way..."Yosuke said just as shocked as his best friend, Jiro shook his head hoping it was a lie, "He has a grandson...named Jin Kazama..." Jiro couldn't believe what he eas seeing and was hoping it was a complete coincidence, but he couldn't shake off the fact that it wasn't another person.

Before he could continue reading, the 2 heard voiced outside the door, they hurried and put the file back and waited at the side of the door to open and get themselves out. The door proceeded to open and 2 security guards entered and Jiro and Yosuke managed to avoid them and they ran for their lives outside and back to their rooms. "Dude, that was close, but kind of cool." Yosuke said kind of tired from the running, "I know, and that was some interesting facts I leanred there, I have to go back. There are still some things I need to know." Jiro said with some determination. Yosuke put a hand on Jiro's shoulder "I know, but not tonight, we had enough buddy." Jiro nodded and did agree it was time for some sleep.

The 2 went to their rooms and Jiro went fast to sleep with much on his mind, who really is Heihachi? And what connection does he have with his father? All Jiro knew was he was getting closer to finding things out, and before he knew it he was fast asleep and fell into another dream.

Jiro had blinked his eyes open and he found himself laying in a field of beautiful sunflowers. He got up slowly and stretched his limbs, "Hm? This is pretty, but where am I?". As if by instant he heard a voice, "Jiro" a voice called out, Jiro quickly turned around and saw the same woman he saw before in his dreams. She was sitting calmly under a big tree, with many little white rabbits next to her. "It's you again, please who are you? And how do you know me?" Jiro asked, as he slowly approuched her. The woman smiled and sent one of the rabbits to Jiro, he kneeled down and picked it up with a warm smile and petted the little on. The woman stood up and walked to Jiro and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, "Beware of Heihachi, you must not be fooled by him. My sweet little Jiro."

Jiro looked at her with confusion, "What? Is he that bad?", before Jiro could receive and answer everything began to fade away and suddenly he woke up in his bed. "Another dream? I don't know who she is, but she seems to know a lot and is trying to help me..."

AU: So yeah, Jiro's getting somewhere. But what does it all mean? Well stay tuned and we'll get there ^^
