CHAPTER 28: THE FINAL BATTLE!
Sonic was standing there, looking like an idiot. He was trapped. The doors were sealed and modified SWATbots were aiming at him from all directions.
"Want to know how I get the Chaos Emeralds?" said Eggman.
"Go on then, Egghead." joked Sonic.
"Egg MAN!" the doctor retorted. "Anyway, one of my Buzz-bombers was scouting the surrounding area. It saw the rest of your team, Tails, Knuckles, Silver, Twilight, Rarity, and Fluttershy. I got the rest of my Badniks to ambush them and take the Chaos Emeralds that they had!"
"Where are they now?" demanded Sonic.
"Look for yourself." said Eggman, pressng a button.
Then, a robot came crashing through the roof. It looked defective...
"That's the robot from last time I dropped by!" exclaimed Sonic."
"Now powered by your friends life energies! OHOHOHOHO-" Then the robot fizzed a bit and fell over. "Hmm?!"
Shadow then shot out of it's torso cradling Tails in his arms. He put him down and took out his Green Chaos Emerald. The SWATbots opened fire on him but his Chaos Emerald shot out a pulse of energy that blew them all up.
"I'M NOT FINISHED YET!" exclaimed Eggman, who put the Chaos Emeralds that he got into the slot. Except they weren't in his hand. He then grunted when he saw Sonic holding them.
"I think you are." said Sonic.
"Sonic, use these." said Shadow, dropping a bag which had their five Chaos Emeralds. Five plus two is seven! Sonic had them all!
"I'll find the rest and get Celestia." said Shadow. "You get Rainbow Dash outta there."
Rainbow Dash was out cold on the floor. Shadow then used his infinity-rings to blast down the door that sealed them in and shot out.
"As for you..." said Sonic, looking at Eggman.
Before he could transform, a Giant robot came blasting through the wall. It was purple, dragon-like, and it seemed familiar...
"This is the Nega-Wisp armor MARK TWO!" exclaimed Eggman with delight in his voice. He got in his Egg-mobile (which is never too far away for some reason) and got into the pilot seat. "This time it runs on Magic Aura from this land's princess Celestia. And to make sure it runs, I have my very last Nega-Wisp to power it!" He then got a small container which held a Void Wisp. Sonic gasped as Eggman put it into the back of his robot, which then roared loudly.
Sonic then looked down at Tails and Rainbow Dash, both out cold. He felt a surge of anger go through him.
"This is it, Eggman." said Sonic. "You hurt my best buddy and my counterpart. Now I hurt you." The Chaos Emeralds then spun in a circle around Sonic, around and around, going faster and faster. Sonic then started floating. Then, in a blast of yellow, he turned into Super Sonic.
"I'm with you!" shouted a voice behind him. Super Sonic turned around. It was Blaze and Twilight!
Blaze had all of the Sol Emeralds and Twilight had all six Elements of Harmony.
"Where'd you find those Sol Emeralds?!" sais Super Sonic, confused.
"Rarity had them, aparently. She thought they were gems." said Twilight.
"Easy mistake to make..." joked Super Sonic.
Blaze then made the Sol Emeralds spin around and around her, going faster. She then, in a blast of fire, turned into Infernus Blaze.
Twilight Sparkle made the Elements of Harmony do the same, but around Rainbow Dash. "You deserve it, friend." she mumbled. Rainbow Dash's body then lifted into the air with the Elements spinning around her. Then, in a blast of flying colors, she revived herself to find that she was Harmonious Rainbow Dash. She was white, still with rainbow mane and tail, but her wings were a bit larger.
"Awww yeah, RD is BACK, BABY!" she exclaimed.
By this time Eggman's robot was backed up against the wall with fear. But then it came to it's senses.
"We can't fight in here and ruin my base." teased Eggman. "Catch me if you can!"
The Nega-Wisp Armor then shot out in the building. The trio followed, going at blinding speeds. The Nega-Wisp Armor MkII was fast. VERY fast. As fast as Rainbow Dash. Meanwhile, Orbot and Cubot were watching them, astonished.
The robot lunged at Blaze, who dodged it quickly. Sonic then blasted into it, knocking it back far. For something built by Eggman, it was really tough.
Rainbow Dash then Sonic-Rainboomed into it, knocking it back even more. The robot then used a laser beam at Sonic, who was hit, but quickly recovered. Then the robot used it's Drill-tail to knock Blaze away. Rainbow Dash hit the robot in it's power source, the container, which then blew up.
"What, no!" said Eggman as sirens were going off. "I've lost control!"
"NOW!" shouted Sonic. He back up to about one mile away. So did Rainbow Dash and Blaze. They then held hands (and hoof) and blasted towards Eggman with blinding speeds.
"Noooooooooooo!" shouted Eggman as his robot was blown into smithereens...
Sonic found himself lying next to Rainbow Dash and Blaze in the center of Ponyville, which was now fully rebuilt. The trio were reverted to normal. The crowd of Ponies applauded as Sonic stood up with Blaze and Rainbow Dash. The others went to join them.
Sonic moaned a bit. He was a little hurt from that laser.
Celestia and Luna came to join them as well.
"You, as a team, have saved Equestria from falling into darkness." said Celestia. "We are very proud of you."
Then Luna started speaking. "You saved my sister and the rest of the regions of Equestria."
"It was an honor to help you, your magic-sty." said Sonic. a few snickers came from the crowd.
"Twilight... thanks." said Rainbow Dash.
"No problem. I know Sonic is your counterpart, so I thought since he can use the power of his gems, maybe you should use ours." explained Twilight.
"Sonic, we better go." said Tails.
"Ok, Tails." said Sonic. He then turned to the crowd. "It was nice being here, guys! Stay safe!"
"Bye guys!" said Applejack. "Hope to see you again!" said Rarity. "Have a good trip!" said Fluttershy.
Sonic then took out the seven Chaos Emeralds. "Chaos... CONTROL!" a bright beam of light shot out of the circle of Emeralds, which then split into loads of beams. Most of them hit Sonic, Tails, and his friends, while some others went off into the distance. When the display was over, they were gone.
"Well, that was interesting." said Sonic, lying on the sofa in front of his TV. He was in his bedroom which was painted turquoise. Posters of sunny places like Angle Island were on his walls. Among them was a picture of Sonic's Uncle. Tails was sitting up next to him.
"It definitely was." replied Tails. "Anyway, what ever happened to Eggman?"
"Oh, I'm sure he's out there somewhere." said Sonic. "And what lesson have your learnt?"
"NOT to power lasers with Chaos Emeralds." joked Tails.
