"Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert!"
Sirens and red flashes filled the whole facility alerting every personnel present. The ones armed rushed outside towards the main gate to stop the man from further destroying the place. The other scientists turned off the alarm to stop the test subjects from panicking.
"Inject the subjects some drugs!" the head scientist ordered. "Double, triple the security around that monster!" he then looked at the man beside him. "And Sazaku, check the status of that person"
"Yes sir" Rin nodded and travelled towards that woman's room. He ran towards the cell, evading the other people rushing towards his direction. The lab is in complete chaos. People in white ran around carrying injections and medicines while the armed men stood guard, watching any sign of an outsider. Rin finally arrived in front of the metal door, even though he already knew that that person and that woman found out he is actually working under Yodogiri, he didn't hesitate to open the door.
"Hi Rin." Seven smiled at the man. "Who's the intruder?"
"A bartender and a doctor" Rin nonchalantly said.
"Oh"
"You don't look surprised"
"I'm also wondering why" She answered. Truthfully, she doesn't know what to feel right now. "Let me ask you, do you work for Yodogiri because you want to? I know that bastard, and he loves threatening people"
"It's none of your business" he answered with an irritated tone.
"He's threatening you… No wonder when I first met you, your eyes shows light and now you look…dead…" She whispered and grinned at the younger man in front of her. "You prefer to work under Orihara, am I right, Rin?"
Rin stared at her with guilt and she smiled back. Seven lift her hands up, the sound of chains echoed in the room. "Do you have the key?"
"I don't" he answered and avert his eyes. "I'm not helping you" He shook his head and stepped back.
"I see…" Seven sighed. He noticed some blood slide down her arm and his eyes widened in realization. She looked at the blood on her arm and smiled at the man. "Glass." Rin felt himself shiver upon seeing the smile of the woman. Before the younger man could exit the room, Seven punched the man on the stomach that made him kneel in pain.
"You can die from blood loss…" Rin coughed and looked up at the woman.
"I'm already dying" She scoffed.
"How… where did you find some glass?"
She circled the chain around Rin's neck.
"Well… people in white surrounded me earlier and I borrowed some medicine." And she choked him unconscious. "Without permission" Seven added and watched the man drop on the floor.
"Don't worry Rin, after this you'll be free" Seven whispered and calmly went out the room.
The night sky didn't reveal any stars or the moon, it seems like the clouds purposely covered these lights to block the unsightly scene below. The sound of breaking glass, metal and concrete are clearly heard throughout the facility's vicinity. Thankfully, the location is in a nearly deserted part of the place but it doesn't mean that no outsider will be able to hear all that ruckus, maybe sooner or later the police will be rushing over.
One by one, the armed men collapse after being hit by a rampant light post being swung by a man in a bartender suit. A man in white coat is behind him flinging a police baton while his eyes are closed. The raging two men continued to move forward and successfully reaching the laboratory's entrance. The new arrival, armed men stared at the destroyed metal gate in confusion, puzzled how the two destroy the gate when there is no trace of any explosion used.
Shizuo continued to brandish the light post, ignoring the occasional scratches of the bullets on him. On the other hand, Shinra finally opened his eyes and rushed to the open door upon seeing a chance to enter, Shizuo followed afterwards. The two rushed inside to be only greeted by a huge number of enemies.
"Shizuo!" Shinra cried and the blond engaged in battle. He forcefully pulled his weapon in, causing the wall to be destroyed. Though his actions are limited, he was able to attack the enemies. Sounds of bullets and metal echoed throughout the place. More enemies rushed nearer not minding if their ally will hit them.
"I'll force my way forward, stay behind me," Shizuo instructed Shinra and the doctor nodded. The doctor continued to swing his baton furiously until he was able to knock a gun away from his opponent. He immediately picked it up and courageously shoots some of his enemy to cripple them.
"When did you learn to shoot guns?" the blond asked upon seeing the action of the doctor.
"I work with people from the underground, of course, I'll teach myself some self-defense" Shinra proudly said. Shizuo grinned.
"Why won't you pick the other fallen guns? That will lose bullets eventually"
"You're right."
The two ran forward triumphantly as the path was temporarily cleared.
"Call for more back up!" A man shouted on the top of his lungs when he saw the two intruders advance in a great distance. Armed men instantly appeared and once again, the two are surrounded by the enemy.
The white room she's in is currently in state of confusion. Although she's chained down to a white cold table she can still see what is happening around her. The few doctors around her stopped their dissection after armed men suddenly entered. She watch one of the doctors talk to a guard and looked back to signal his co-doctors to come nearer. The group discussed something the woman can't hear.
"Disgusting…" She heard a man said repulsively. She looked at the direction of the voice and saw one of the guards looking at her with a disgusted expression. She knew she's not human but still she have feelings and right now she's seriously hurt by the man's word.
Celty looked away to avoid seeing the disgusted expression of the man. She heard the sound of metal hitting another metal and next thing she knew, she was released.
"Do anything wrong and the doctor you care so much will turn into dust." The man acting as the group's leader menacingly told her. All the doctors working under the department the dullahan is in were informed to use that lie to threaten her. Of course, Celty doesn't know.
The dullahan obediently followed all their orders and is ready to go back to her cell when a knock on the door startled all the one present inside. Celty and the others watched the guard earlier to open the door and hurriedly pointed the gun outside. The guard did not relax upon seeing no one, he cautiously took a small step forward to check the hallway but was shot straight to the head upon exiting the door. His companions were alerted and readied their gun towards the door. The doctors slowly backed away, pulling Celty with them, and let the armed men take over. The next second, a blinding light and gunshots filled the room.
Celty did not move from her spot and just watched the armed men and doctors slowly fall one by one. She was forced to kneel when a stray bullet hit her leg and she was lucky to evade another bullet. When the light finally vanished, she saw a hand holding a gun peeking out from the doorway. Though not all enemies were gunned down, at least they're temporarily blinded.
"Fight back, Celty! They don't have Shinra!" Celty heard a familiar voice shout and she believed her words. She brought out her scythe and before the enemies can regain their sight, she slashed the black blade through them and they fell unconscious.
"Is it done?" the same voice asked her and she saw a woman standing in front of her busy covering her eyes. "Sorry I was affected too…"
She recognized the woman and she internally sighed for the girl's clumsiness. It didn't took long when the woman regained her eyesight. Seven searched inside her pocket and brought out a phone, she then tossed it to Celty.
"I found it during my fights earlier. Use that to communicate, unlike Shinra, I can't read your shadows."
You're covered in blood especially on your wrists. Are you injured?" She typed using the phone.
Seven looked at her uncuffed hands and to her blood soaked bandages on her wrists. "Nah… this blood…not mine" She lied.
What do you mean they don't have Shinra?
"I'll explain in the way. Right now, let's run" Seven smiled. Happiness crossed her eyes. She was able to retrieve Celty.
