Chapter 17: The escape attempt

A/N: Before we even start this chapter, I want to thank all of my readers for waiting patiently after each chapter for the next one. I want to thank my reviewers for giving me the motivation to keep going. I3HeroBrine I knew it! I KNEW IT! Umm… okay then… let me get back under control. I want to thank the people that follow and favorite. And most importantly, I want to thank whoever is reading this right now, and is going to go out and find my next story. Well, I'm rambling again, so here is the conclusion.

(Rin POV)

Amber and I rushed downstairs to get the two diamond armor sets Ryan had mentioned. Enchanted with protection 4 on every piece of both sets, it should let us hold our own. Amber grabbed her Iron sword, me my diamond sword, and we headed back upstairs. Alex stopped us as we climbed. "Where are you going?" He asked

Amber just waved and said "Away." We continued climbing. Ryan was waiting for us at the top of the stairs.

"You ready?" He asked us. We nodded and he said "Grab on." We both grabbed a part of the obsidian and Ryan placed it on the ground, and we were off to the nether. As we traveled, it felt like being ripped apart and being put back together again, over and over. After a few seconds, we landed in the nether fortress. We started looking around for Kelly and Will. Amber and I had to move very slowly however, as diamond armor rattled really loudly. We turned a corner and saw a blaze. It shot a fireball at us and Ryan shot it with an arrow. Its screech must have been heard everywhere though, because suddenly we were surrounded by wither skeletons.

"Run!" Ryan screamed as he shot a wither skeleton in the head. As its body fell, we all ran past it. The wither skeletons chased us however, and soon we were lost in a maze of walls. Eventually we ran out onto a bridge. The bridge cut short however, and we were trapped on it by 30 or more wither skeletons. As we backed closer to the ledge, they parted to make way for a figure.

"So…" Herobrina sneered at us. "You think you can just come into my territory and not have to pay? You're dead wrong." She said. Ryan stepped up to her.

"Fight me. One to one. Right here, and to the death." He told her.

"Ryan, don't do it! She'll kill you!" Amber screamed at him. Herobrina stepped up to Ryan.

"So be it." She said, and pulled out a diamond sword. Ryan pulled out one of his own. They both charged at each other, swords raised, and struck. Instantly they were stuck in a power battle, Herobrina slowly gaining more room on Ryan. Ryan deflected her sword into the nether brick and kicked her in the chest. Herobrina stumbled back and swung at Ryan's head. Ryan ducked and jabbed at herobrina's rib cage. She deflected it. And like this it continued for several minutes. After about 10 however, Ryan started to get sloppy, Herobrina managing to land glancing blows when he did no damage.

Herobrina laughed. "Give up boy. You might as well jump into that lava right now." She said. Ryan jabbed her wrist and twisted, so that her hand released her sword. He knocked it into the lava, and kicked Herobrina to the ground.

"What was that again?" Ryan asked innocently. He put his blade to herobrina's throat. "Tell me where Kelly and Will are!" He said. Herobrina shook her head. "Tell me!" He screamed. Herobrina cleared her throat.

"They are on the lowest level. But you won't find them in time." She said. Ryan retired his blade and Herobrina disappeared. The wither skeletons backed away from us.

Ryan pointed at the stairs going down. "Let's go" he said.

(Will POV)

I was awoken from my sleep by Herobrina. She was kicking me in the chest. "What did I do this time?" I asked. She put a blade to my throat. My vision cleared pretty fast after that. I saw a wither skeleton off to my left with a sword ready to kill Kelly.

"Your friends tried to rescue you." Herobrina told me. "They must pay. And you're going to help me do it, or she is going to die a very slow, painful death."

"What is it you want me to do?" I asked her. There was no way I would give her an excuse to harm Kelly. She told me what I had to do. I nodded. "Okay." I walked out of the room to find Ryan, Rin, and Amber.

I found them on a staircase. "Will!" Ryan said. I put up my hands.

"Guys! You have to come help! Kelly's been hurt!" I told them. Which, I must point out, is not a complete lie. I rushed them back to the room where I had been prisoner for too long. As the three of them entered the room, Herobrina knocked out Ryan and Amber stabbed Herobrina in the chest. As Herobrina died, Amber tried to help Ryan up, while Rin and I carried Kelly. Right before Herobrina died, she threw one last sword. It hit me in the heart.

"Your… not… leaving…" and "Help… Me…" were uttered by two dying people. And both were dead before anybody could react.

(Kelly POV)

I woke up laying on something soft. Wait, that's not right. I leaned up and saw that I was in a bed. Ryan and Amber were off to my left, With Rin treating my wounds. She put a hand on my chest. "Lay down." She told me.

As I laid down, I asked "Where am I?"

Ryan responded "In my family house."

"How did I get here?"

"We went in to get you out." Amber said.

"And you succeeded? Against Herobrina?"

Ryan looked at his feet. "Kelly… I'm so sorry. I was knocked out."

"Wait. What happened? What are you talking about?"

Amber walked over to me and placed a hand on my chest. "I'm very sorry. But… Will was killed by herobrina's final action before she died from my stab-"I'm sure the rest of what they said could have been very interesting, but I was too busy thinking about will. I burst into tears.

"Kelly… there is something you should know." Amber said. "When Herobrine or Herobrina die, a recently killed soul, Male or female respectively, Becomes the new Herobrine/Herobrina."

I looked up at her. "And?" I asked. Amber cracked a smile.

"After we killed Herobrina, Herobrine came for us." She pointed at Ryan. "He killed him."

I started to get a little more hopeful. "So what you're saying is… There is a chance will came back? As herobrine? Would he even be the same?" I asked.

Will materialized at the foot of my bed. He looked at Amber. "Is she awake?" He asked. He looked exactly the same except his eyes glowed completely white. He looked down and saw me staring at him. "I guess she is." He said. I slapped him. "Ow! I might be all powerful, but that still hurts like a bitch, Kelly!" He said, Laughing at the end.

I slapped him again. "Don't you die on me again, or I swear to notch I will kill you!." Will laughed along with the rest.

Rin said "She'll make a full recovery in a couple of weeks."

Author: People died. People lived. People were rescued. People were brought back to life. But most importantly, Someone other than me got slapped by Kelly!

Kelly: *slaps author* I still hate you.

Author: *shrug* I knew it was to good to be true. Anyway that was my final chapter of this story. There will be a little bit of a break before my new story comes out, so look out for that. Bacon Army, Out!
