Chapter 20
"Go ahead kill me," Stefan said with his hand still in the fire. "I know you'll do it when he brings the coffin."
Klaus pulled Stefan way from the fire. "You really have given up, haven't you?" he asked. "Where's the fight?" he pushed Stefan slightly. "Where's the ripper?"
Stefan pushed Klaus back

MEANWHILE
Rose POV
I woke up in a coffin in an unknown room. I put my hand to my forehead. "Damn that Niklaus," I groaned.
"And sleeping beauty awakes," I heard a voice I haven't heard in a long time say.
I shot up and out of the coffin to se Kol, Finn and Rebekah standing there. "Kol," I whispered in disbelief.
He nodded his head with a smile. That was all I needed. I launched myself at him and talked him into a hug. I did the same to Finn and Rebekah before we were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. I spun around with a smile on my face until I saw who it was. "Oh," I said. "It's just you."
After I said that Elijah walked into the room. "That's not a nice thing to say to someone who is helping us get back a Niklaus," he said.
"I don't care who he is," Kol said. "All that matters is that I'm out of that stupid coffin."
I laughed. "Kol's right," I said. "When can we get out of here?"
"Right after you lot are fed," Elijah said. I sighed. "And we scare Niklaus."
I smirked. "What do you want us to do?" Kol and I asked at the same time.
"Whoa," Damon said. "Does that happen a lot?"
"We are twins. What do you expect?" I asked.
"Stay here until you hear the signal," Elijah informed us.
"What's the signal?" Finn asked.
"You'll know when you hear it. Now let's go." Elijah left the room with Damon and a maid holding a cloth covered tray following him.
Not wanting to miss the signal I followed closely until Elijah put his hand out to stop me.

Lissa POV
"Elijah," Klaus said looking at the door behind Stefan.
I looked in the same direction he was looking in. Elijah stepped into the doorway with Damon on one side and a maid on his other. The maid was holding a tray that had a cloth over the top of it.
"Why haven't you left?"
"Well, where are your manners, brother?" Elijah asked. "We forgot dessert." He removed the cloth that was covering the tray to reveal three daggers. They looked like the one Klaus had put into Rose after he fought Elijah.
"What have you done?" Klaus asked shocked.
"What have you done?" Elijah countered. "See, I've learned not to trust your vulgar promises, Klaus. We're doing this on my terms now." He looked to his left.
When he did, I saw Rose and a male version of her step around the corner and walk towards Klaus. What? I thought. Rose is meant to be dead. I saw the dagger go into her and she looked dead.
"Rose, Kol-" Klaus started.
"Long time, brother," they both said at the same time Huh? What do they mean by brother? Rose doesn't have any brothers. I am so confused.
Klaus backed away before speeding to the tray of daggers. Another man, with longer hair, got there before he could and grabbed one of the daggers. "Finn, don't-" Klaus was stopped mid-sentence by 'Finn' stabbing him in the hand with the dagger he was holding, causing Klaus to scream. Finn pulled the dagger out and Klaus ran towards the other door only to have a blond woman, in a red formal dress, stop him "Rebekah."
'Rebekah' stabbed Klaus in the stomach and he let out another scream. "This is for our mother," Rebekah said before bulling the dagger out.
Klaus stumbled backwards. 'Kol' pulled Klaus's arms behind him and held him still. Rose walked forward and stood beside Rebekah, facing Klaus.
"You're free to go," Elijah said and Stefan and Damon started to leave. "This is family business."
"We are not going anywhere," Guardian Hathaway screeched causing the other group to flinch. "Not until we get some answers out of you lot."
Rose ran a hand down her face. "They're idiots if they haven't figured it out yet," she said before looking to Elijah.
"Fine," he said reluctantly. "But stay out of our way."
