You woke to soft light. You couldn't tell if it was morning or not. You sat up and groaned softly. The bed was not very comfortable and you were cold. You never changed your clothes last night so they were still damp. You stood slowly and the bed creaked from the loss of your presence. You stood in front of a small window with mauve curtains. You pulled them aside to see outside. The clouds were lighter than they had been but they hung low and were rolling in large puffs. You yawned softly and wished to return to sleep. You turned around, facing the small bed. You felt like something was missing. The man named Sebastian. You looked over the small room. He wasn't in sight. Simon would be here by now as well if he decided to come. You quickly took out your phone and tried turning it on. It was strange, the phone was on 90% last night but it was now dead. This was the type pf phone that was a bit older but sturdier, so it would have battery life for a couple of days. Suddenly you heard the door to the hall creak open. You put your phone away as Sebastian stepped inside.
"Good Morning Miss_." He closed his eyes and put on a smile that made you feel uneasy. "I have just packed our things back into the car. We are able to keep going." You stepped back and gave him a glare.
" And if i refuse?" Sebastian opened his eyes and made a sigh. He glared back at you, his red eyes giving him a sinister air.
" Things have already been difficult enough for me. If you refuse I may have to knock you out and bring you to my master that way." He took a step forward and you took a step back.
" Do not make things more complicated. Just come with me."
" How am I to know I won't be hurt or killed?!"
" Just come with me already!" His glare became harsher as he stepped towards you again. When he did this you let out a scream. Sebastian quickly hit you in the head with a lamp on the night stand. He sighed and started to pick you up. With in a few moments he heard knocking at his door.
" Hello? I heard someone scream. Is everything okay?" This person sounded older and female. Sebastian made a low growl. Damn this girl, I should have done this in the first place.
" Everything is fine, my girlfriend just had a nightmare." he answered back.
" I heard a crash though."
" Yes, when she dreams she gets rather violent, she knocked it over fighting in her sleep."
" Are you sure? Everything seems to not be okay? Miss, miss are you okay?"
" I said she's fine, she's still sleeping." Sebastian's voice sounded strained from frustration. This person was persistent, it would be bad is someone came along and made things a bigger mess.
" Well...Alright, I hope things are okay." The voice sounded unconvinced but they left anyway. Sebastian was annoyed to say the least. First he had to deal with the guy who could have come all the way here. Luckily a quick text explaining someone had stolen her phone and did a prank solved that issue. Sebastian opened the door and made sure no one was there. The coast was clear so he took the girl to the car and buckled her into the backseat. He checked his pocket watch. It was 6:30AM , his master would be waking soon. He could have done this much sooner if only this girl would have politely complied with him. Oh well, He would arrive soon enough to start his master's morning. He got in and start to drive far into the country. Soon enough Sebastian could see the manor through the trees. Sebastian drove up the drive and parked in the large garage. He took you to a bedroom and laid you down before starting on his master's breakfast.
You woke in a lavish room. The blankets were soft and plush, a soft gold color with pink rose print on them. You sat up and noticed how the floor was wood, a rich brown. The windows were covered with translucent white lace curtains. All of it was certainly luxurious. Where was it though? Last you remembered was the bastard getting too close with that menacing look and then black. This must be his master's place! You went to the window and looked out. There laid a perfectly green garden with a maze hedge and blooming flowers. Trees lined the horizon and you couldn't tell where you were. It would be a bitch to leave this place. You looked through the room for an outlet and put your phone on it's charger before leaving the room.
"Whoa..." You couldn't help but make a noise in awe at the décor. Paintings, rugs, chandeliers. It was gorgeous. You started to walk around the place. It was huge, this had to be a mansion. You made sure to be quiet though, you didn't want to meet up with that butler or his master. With a butler that bad the master had to be worse, right? You came upon the living room. There was two loveseats and two chairs, a coffee table, two shelves filled with books, a radio, and a small television. You didn't enter though, you stayed behind the corner. There was a red headed maid dusting. She began to dust a lamp but ran her arm into it causing it to fall over and it broke. The poor thing start to freak out and started to bawl. Shortly after her cries Sebastian entered the room. He began to scold her and cleaned up the broken lamp. You felt a nope rising up in you so you turned around and took another turn in the hall. You found some stairs and descended them. You found yourself near a beautiful entry. You felt like just walking out the front door but you decided against it. If you were to leave you would need the car keys. You went back to sight seeing. You eventually found a gorgeous kitchen. You hid in the entry way though. There was a blond chef with goggles on and a huge flamethrower! You made a what the hell face as he started to just burn food that was in a pan on the stove. You heard footsteps and decided to duck into another room, which happened to be a bathroom. The footsteps sounded like the had went into the nearby kitchen. You could hear an angry voice, you assumed it was the butler getting on to the crazy chef. You quickly left the bathroom while there was still scolding going on and went to the other side of the mansion. You found a showing the backyard garden. You went out and awed in amazement. The smell of roses wafted to your nose. The flowers were lovely. So bright and bold, others small and pale. All beautiful in their own way. After a bit of wandering you saw another blond. He seemed to be spraying weed killer but it was killing the pretty plants. You jumped when a hand landed on your shoulders.
"I see you are awake." You turned and it was Sebastian. He was looking towards the boy killing the plants with a grimace.
"Please wait here while I go deal with him."
" And why should I listen to YOU?" You glared at him, he looked down at you with a smile, putting some pressure on your shoulder.
"Wait here!" His voice was cheery but by your sore shoulder you knew it was an act. He swiftly walked to the gardener and scolded him. When the boy noticed what he had done he was shocked and kept apologizing to Sebastian. Soon enough Sebastian walked back to you.
"Follow me." was all he said, not even stopping. You ran after him. He lead you though the house, back up the stairs and to a door in a hall opposite of the room you woke up in. Sebastian lightly knocked before opening it.
"Master, I'm here with your guest." he bowed giving you a view of his master. This couldn't be right, he was just a boy. His hair was a dull black, eye a dark blue, and skin a crème color.
"Ah, yes. Miss. Fowler I presume." He stopped typing on his laptop and closed the lid.
" uh...hello."
" Welcome, I am Ciel Phantomhive." He gave a smile that seemed less than genuine. Sebastian stepped aside to let you in. Ciel motioned to the blue seat in front of his desk.
"Please have a seat." he said. You sat and fiddled with your thumbs.
"So...why am I here?" You asked nervously. He may have been a boy but he acted like a grown noble.
" It has come to my attention that a shop of mine has had the front of it ruined. It seems like you were the cause of the accident so I will have to ask of you financial compensation." He rested his hands on his desk and look into your eyes.
" What?! I haven't been in an accident recently!"
"No? What about the car that ran into my shop because you stepped carelessly into the street?" You froze. The accident yesterday. That shop had been his?
"I-I'm not the one who ran into the sh-shop though."
" Well the driver is dead and you were the one to cause him to swerve, therefore you were the cause of the accident. If you would like to dispute it we could take this to court." He ended his threat with a smile.
" No that won't be necessary. So, how much is the damage?" You asked hesitantly.
"Well after having it assessed the damage rounds up to 44,000 pounds."
"What?! I can't afford that!" You stood and looked at him in shock.
"Well perhaps something else could be arranged?" Ciel cocked his head to the side and gave a sickly sweet smile. Something about all of this didn't feel right.
