Chapter 15: Rebecca's POV

The funeral was beautiful. That's what everyone was saying. It was open casket and I wished it wasn't. Riley looked alive. She looked just like she was sleeping. Like she could wake up at any moment, but I knew she wasn't. The make-up artist had done a good job. You couldn't see the burns around her eyes and they had covered up the thick purple bruise around her neck. I had been too late, just by a couple of seconds. The doctors said I couldn't have done anything. It wasn't my fault. Her neck had broken, she couldn't breathe. There was no way she could have survived that. I'd wondered why she did at first. Why she had been so depressed that she had killed herself. But then I got the news. All of the girls- Macie, Connie and Jasmine- had all done the same thing.

Macie stabbed herself with a butcher knife.

Jasmine stuck her head in the oven.

Connie took a bottle of sleeping pills.

The police thought it was a pact suicide. They thought all of the girls had somehow got into contact and planned a pact suicide. But I knew Riley wouldn't do that. Riley had an awful, terrible life but in the last few months she had gotten happier. But the day she saw his face on the TV she got bad. She had no reason to, yet she still got bad. And then he got out. He killed everyone in there and got out and she went crazy. And it got me thinking. How did he kill everyone? I found a picture of him and I showed it to Collin. He told me I was right. William Bellview was a vampire, and some vampires had powers. Collin told me that a vampire's power was usually shown first when they were human and when they changed their power grew. He told me he knew a vampire that could control emotions. When he was a human he was great at making people miserable. He must have done it. Used his power to make Riley depressed, so depressed that when he killed all of those people in jail it set her off. It made her kill herself. It made the other girls kill themselves to.

I glanced around the funeral house. Mom was sobbing into dad's shirt. Seth wasn't there. He was a wolf and he couldn't change back. Collin said they couldn't hear his thoughts anymore. Sienna's eyes were wide and glassy as she stared at Riley's still face. She was trying not to cry. It was William Bellview's fault everyone was like this.

It was his fault my sister was dead.

I wanted him to die. I wanted him to experience everything he made Riley feel. I wanted my revenge.

And thus Riley ended. PLEASE DON'T BE MAD AT ME! I might be making a sequel where a lot of things will be explained (Godisgood3) and I WILL be uploading another book in a couple of weeks that has nothing to do with Riley. The reason this is so short is because it's more of an epilogue then a chapter.
