*crash*
"MC, are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm okay Jaehee. I suppose I was just... falling for you~"
"Oh my gosh.."
Stuttering an excuse, the now flustered brunette hastily leaves to the next room, leaving her clumsy partner on the ground where she'd tripped. When ever she could, MC would slip in a semi-flirtatious comment which left ex-Assistant Kang blushing furiously, lost for words. A month after the party and Jaehee's proposal, one would think that she'd be used to MC's flirting. However, one would be wrong.
*ring, ring*
"Heya, this is Zen speaking."
Perhaps calling her idol for such a minute issue was a step too far, Jaehee wondered. But she could hardly turn back now.
"Hello, this is Assis- Ahem, I mean, this is Jaehee. Sorry to disturb you so early Zen, but I need your help."
"Ah, trouble in paradise? How is living with MC?" She could hear the smirk in his voice. As much as she admired him, even Jaehee must admit that he could sound full of himself.
"That is what I'm calling about. I need some advice, and I thought you'd know best in this instance..."
"Hm? Girl trouble?"
"Of.. a sort. Do you, per chance, know any... um.. "
"Jaehee. You can ask me anything, we're both fellow RFA members here"
"Of course. Apologies, but um... Could you give me some... flirting advice?"
When she went into the kitchen, Jaehee found her roommate making breakfast for the two of them. Without turning her head, MC asked "Want some coffee Jae? It won't be as good as yours, but coffee always seems to be good with you."
No reply. Slightly concerned, she spun to face her. Jaehee was looking firmly at the ground, a blush coating her cheeks, ever-so-slightly biting her lip in a show of nerves.
"Jae? You alright? You're looking kinda feverish.. I mean, I know you're hot but-" The comment was interrupted by the woman in question suddenly looking up, a flustered but determined expression on her face.
"MC. I have something to say to you."
Worry immediately flooded MC's mind. Was she ill? Did she want to break up the business? Was she getting fed up with living together?
An unfamilar sly, but comforting smile slipped onto Jaehee's face.
"MC, did you that they call me coffee... Because I grind so fine?"
"Get it? Because... we're uh... Um... MC, are you okay?"
The person in question was a deep shade of red, mouth of open in shock and surprise. Her expression resembled that of a buffering computer screen, as if she was trying to process what her cute roommate had just said.
"MC? I'm sorry! I was just trying to get you back for all the comments that you made so I asked Zen for help and-" She was stopped by the sound of laughter. "Wait... MC?"
"Haha! Oh my god Jaehee! That was so cringy.. No wonder if you got it from that narcissist."
"Oh.. you're okay? I'm sorry, I was trying to be flirty..."
With a smile, MC leaned over to her roommate and planted a soft kiss on her cheek. "God, Jae. Don't try flirty, you're too cute. Stick with that, okay?"
