Loralei was in shock for a long while after the shock in the bookshop. McGonagall told them to go to the Three Broomsticks before the aurors got there. They didn't need the publicity of what happened there. They may all be of age, but they still deserved to be protected from the press.

Loralei's face was blank though her eyes being a bit wider than usual. They all had butterbeer in front of them, but hers was still untouched. They barely got her able to walk there. Remus knew the shop owner as well, but not half as well as Loralei. When she finally started talking in was in a quiet monotone.

"His name was William Flemming." She whispered. "His daughter is a healer and his son works for the ministry in the misuse of muggle artifacts office. His wife died in childbirth with his daughter, but he was so proud of his children. His daughter wanted to take over the bookshop when she retired. He inherited the bookshop from his father. He was only in his sixties. His son got married last summer."

"You really are the friendliest person alive." Remus told her. "I've been in there more often than you, and I didn't even know his last name."

Her eyes focused on Remus. "I talk to people. It all started when I asked him for a book when I was fourteen. Since then he would hold books I would like until I came in, and he would show them to me. That's why I have such a collection." She paused. "Why would Voldemort want to kill him? He was never into politics." She had to make sense of what was going on. Why he would be a target.

"He sold muggle books, though." Remus told her. "Muggle history books, and novels. He liked them, and liked telling people about the muggle theories behind Grindewald's reign, and such. We both know that. I was there to witness the story he told you."

"Or what about those books where witches were evil? Or muggles in the eighteen hundreds. He gave everyone in that store knowledge of the other culture through books." Remus stated.

"That's why he wanted William Flemming dead." Lily told her. "Because he was a good man, and even though he never protested anything, or was loud with his opinions, he still spread the fact that muggles are equal to us through people like you. People who would listen and agree openly."

"I already thought that before I met him." Loralei replied. 'They killed him because he was a good man. No good men are on their side. Only cowards and twisted people. They should all go to hell." She growled the last part. "I've never seen anyone fight or disagree with him. Ever. Willy was a kind, great soul. He had no idea how much he changed my life. And now he never will."

Loralei Potter,

Sorry I haven't written sooner, I've been busy with the funeral arrangements for my father. I was going through the bookshop after the ministry was finished with it, and I found a stack of books with your name on it. Don't bother trying to pay me. He would have wanted you to have them. He always talked about the sweet little blonde girl who was always ready to chat books with him.

Please enjoy these books. The Dragon's Weakness is a rather good book, I read it recently. Tudor's is too, but I'm a sucker for those sort of history books. Though, knowing my dad, it seems like you are too.

Happy reading,

Savannah Flemming

Some of Loralei wanted to cry as she read it. Willy's daughter had to be a really good person to do this for her. Or loved her father dearly to continue doing his work.

She looked at the stack of five books. Willy's handwritten notes on the inside of the book cover. Willy telling her why she would like the book, or what made him think she would like them. Loralei cried as she read the pages. He probably never thought he made an impact on her, but he did. More of an impact than he would ever know, like she had said weeks before.

She would keep these books forever, and keep them safe. She loved them before she ever read them, but she picked up Savannah's favorite, The Dragon's Weakness, and laid down on her bed, beginning to read the first chapter.

The weeks passed, their Seventh year going by quickly, like it was a dream. Tests were easy, classes were harder. Overall, it was all about getting the grades to get into training for whatever career they were going into.

It was Christmas break when tragedy was mixed with joy. The joy was that Molly was pregnant again, this time with a set of twins. With this news, she and her husband asked Loralei to come over for dinner.

When they put Bill, Charlie, and Percy to bed, the three adults-Loralei still couldn't believe she now was one-stayed up, sitting around the living room, talking.

"Loralei, we asked you over because we wanted to ask you something." Molly told her, sneaking a look to her husband nervously.

"Well go on," Loralei smiled welcomingly.

Molly and Arthur looked at each other, before looking at her.

"Would you be godmother to our twins?" Arthur asked.

Loralei's face went blank. "Does this mean I get to come over all the time next year?"

"Yeah, of course." Arthur nodded.

"I get to babysit all your kids when you want a weekend to yourselves?"

"You'd want that?" Molly asked.

"Yeah, I love kids, man," Loralei cried grinning brightly. "My goodness, I'm going to have to have them one weekend when I'm out of Hogwarts. You guys can just do nothing, I love your kids."

"So it's a yes then?" Arthur asked.

"Not only a yes," Loralei corrected. "A hell yes."

Molly and Arthur laughed.

"Well that's good." Molly told her. "I thought you'd like having godsons."

"They're both boys?" Loralei asked. "I get two little godsons?"

"You get two little godsons." Molly confirmed. "If they're anything like my brothers, they'll be trouble though."

"I like trouble." Loralei replied. "Thinking about names?"

They both nodded. "I like Fred." Arthur said.

"And I like George." Molly replied. "And we were going to give them their uncle's names as middle names. Since they're twins as well."

"That's wonderful." Loralei smiled. "I will be here whenever you need me."

"And take care of them if something tragic happens?" Molly asked.

"I'll take all of them if something tragic happens." Loralei told her. "Your children will always have a home with me."

Molly and Arthur hugged her, thanking her profusely. Loralei told them she couldn't be happier to do it. She loved their children so much. She couldn't imagine anything happening to bring her down from the happiness high she was on.

Sadly, though, is that the tragedy in the Marauder's life was Lily's parents dying in a car crash.
