I had retired to my room and changed into the dressing gown the maid had given me. The storm was still howling outside as I lay in the bed. For some reason, I felt as though I was being watched but I knew that was just nerves due to the storm. Something about Alexander tonight really bothered me though. It wasn't how he treated me but his glass of red of wine. The wine was darker than any of glass of wine I had ever seen. I fially shook my head and drifted off to sleep and soon began dreaming.

The room was dim as I sat upon the bed. I saw Alexander standing in the corner. "Skyla, I haven't forgotten the vow I made 400 years ago. It is time to surrender your life to me" he whispered seductively.

"Get out" I screamed

"That is no way to speak to your husband" he replied calmly, still walking over to me. By now, he had removed his shirt and was now sitting on the bed. Gently, he took my left hand and now I saw that I was wearing a wedding ring.

"How did I get here again Alexander" I asked, curious now.

"I brought you here Skyla and my name isn't Alexander. It's Vlad Tepes and right here, we shall seal our union" he told me, gently tucking my hair back. Slowly, he captured my lips in a passionate kiss and my heart sped up. At that moment, I felt this strange feeling as though he had taken complete control of me and I felt his hands easing me down on the bed.

His soft but cold hands began expertly untying my robe, kissing every inch of my exposed skin in a worshiping gesture, like I was a goddess. I shivered from the touch of his lips, my back arching off the bed. "Lay still my love" he whispered, kissing my neck softly.

"Please no" I pleaded softly, my voice quivering with pleasure. It got where to I couldn't resist anymore and I slowly began to melt into sweet surrender.

"Our eternity begins tonight" he whispers. His tone was more ominous instead of the loving whisper he had been speaking in.

"What do you mean" I whispered, terrified of what he had in mind. I saw then that he had fangs and at that moment, my breath got caught in my throat.

"Say hello to eternity" he whispered as his fangs pierced my throat.

I shot awake, breathing hard. 'It was only a dream' I thought to myself, calming down but a crack of thunder nearly made me jump out of my skin. With a flash of lightning, I thought I saw someone standing in the corner but when I blinked, I saw there was nobody there. I got up and headed to the water closet.

Afer splashing some water on my face a few times, I headed back to bed and got back under the covers but I was still concerned about the dream. I would soon find that it was about to be all too real.

Alexander's P.O.V

I watched Skyla sleep off and on. She was peaceful, a soft innocence bathed her sleeping figure. I eagerly awaited the day that I would make her mine for all eternity. The hardest part though was going to be turning her as I did not want to lose control and drain her. I knew though that it would be protect her from an unmerciful death. Could I show her that I truly loved her and more importantly, that we needed each other to defeat the Order of the Dragon?
