"I can't believe Sirius passed out." Loralei grumbled as they cleaned up from the wedding. The guests had all gone, and it was just Remus and Loralei moving the tables and chairs to a storage room.
"Yeah, I should've cut him off when you told me too..." He agreed, scratching the back of his head as they moved the things with their wands.
"I should've, actually. I doubt he would've listened to you." Loralei sighed. "I think they had a good wedding. I've never seen anyone look at me the way James looks at Lily." She smiled.
"You'd be surprised how someone looks at you when you're not looking. Sirius looks at you that way." Remus told her. "But, you know me. I'm the creepy guy watching from the window."
Loralei pushed against him as she laughed. "You're not that creepy guy." She looked down, and then back up at her friend. "You really think so?"
"I know so." Remus told her. "But I didn't know that Lily had a crush on me in third year."
"I did. That's why she blushed whenever she saw you." Loralei told him. "It was really cute."
"And that explains why I could never get you alone because you made sure she was always there." Remus shook his head.
"Well, I am a good friend. I had to see if it was mutual." Loralei told him.
"Just so you know, since we're coming up with old crushes, I had a crush on you in third year." He told her.
The table that Loralei was moving crashed to the ground, and Remus turned to see Loralei staring at him with a shocked expression on her face.
"What?" Loralei demanded.
"Come on, you really didn't know?" He asked, laughing.
Loralei stared at him a moment. "I wonder what would've happened if we had gotten together back then. We were thirteen, so it would've probably lasted two weeks, but still."
"Well, Sirius would've probably been pissed as hell." Remus shrugged. "He's fancied you for years."
Loralei rolled her eyes. "I'd rather have you be my friend anyway." She told him. "Then I never have to let you go."
"I think I agree." He nodded. "I wouldn't have done anything anyway. I was too scared to lose friends...and that was the year you all found out."
"I never would have left you about that. I'm not that superficial."
"I know that now." He rolled his eyes.
"You were pretty self conscious around us back then." Loralei agreed. "At least you know that we're never going to leave you. You're never going to be alone, Remus. You'll hate us after a while."
"I doubt that."

"Training isn't the same without Prongs." Sirius whined as he and Loralei got home from training Monday. James got two days off, and Sirius missed his partner.
"You're only upset because Fab kicked your ass in defense." Loralei told him.
"He only kicked my ass because I let him." Sirius stated.
Loralei laughed. "Sure, you go with that, love."
"What? I can't get the girl and beat the guy up, that's just unfair." He teased. "Too bad Moony's house sitting for the Potter's." He said, touching his bruised cheekbone. "You know, you and Katie go wild on each other all the time, but you just joke about it after. Are you both insane?"
"We both know what we're doing. We want to be ready for if we have to take a couple punches." Loralei shrugged. "We try not to hit each other's faces. That's going too far."
"What do you think about them taking us into the field next week?" Sirius asked. "Who did you get paired with?"
"Katie and I got Fab and Gid." Loralei told him. "I think they asked for us."
"Of course, two beautiful little blonde girls." Sirius rolled his eyes.
"Who are in love with two dark haired men. Yes, you have everything to be scared of." She joked before kissing him lightly. "I'm going to take a shower now. You should go put some ice on that."
He pouted. "You're not going to put ice on it for me?"
"You're a big boy, I think you can handle it." She smiled.
He kept pouting.
Loralei rolled her eyes as she backed away from him. "I'll be back in half an hour, I take it you won't accidently kill yourself in that time?"
"You underestimate me."

"Okay, there are some rules to coming out with us." Fabian told the girls as they left the Auror Offices the next Monday.
"You pulled my out before I could even say hi to my brother." Loralei whined.
"You made us come in an hour early too." Katie added with a pout.
"Well if you make it all the way through training, then you're going to need to get used to it." Gideon told Katie.
"Anyway, if you see something that seems to be wrong, tell one of us. We're just going to check out this abandoned house that people saw lights in. It's probably nothing." Fabian told them. "But, just in case, be ready."
"Yes, sir." Katie and Loralei said together.
"Okay, now it's time to go." They said.
Fabian held out his arm to Loralei. "Take my arm."
"Same for you." Gideon mirrored his brother to Katie.
The girls took their arms, and they were sucked into the tube that apparation felt like.
"Aah," Katie groaned while stretching after they got the the address. "Now I'm awake."
"Good. I don't need you half asleep." Gideon told her. "Now, here's what's going to happen." He started as the four of them faced each other.
"We're going in first." Fabian told them. "You're behind us. If we tell you to get out of there, you leave."
"Yes, sirs." They said together, all hints of joking were gone from their faces.
"Then I believe we are ready to go in. Stay behind us, and stay alert." Gideon told them.
The girls pulled their wands out from their black robes.
Loralei looked around her for the first time. They were in an abandoned estate. A large broken down mansion stood in front of them. Some of the windows were boarded up, and it didn't look exactly safe to go into, it looked more like the roof would tumble down any minute. Ivy grew up one side. Long ago, the house would have been a beautiful sight to see, but now it was just a broken down building.
The four of them creeped towards the house. Fabian unlocked the door with a nonverbal spell, before pushing it open with a low creak.
There was a movement upstairs, but it didn't have to be a human, it could have been a stray cat who found a safe place to sleep. There was something definitely in the house, though.
"Fabian and I will go upstairs." Gideon said, looking up the stairs that stood in front of them. "You two can take the downstairs." He knew something the girls didn't, and he didn't seem like he wanted to tell them either. Loralei could tell he didn't want her and Katie to go upstairs yet.
Katie nodded, her turquoise eyes wide. "Yes, sir." She whispered.
The twins climbed the stairs silently and quickly. Loralei didn't know they couldn't make noise when they walked. She could tell by that there was something in the house, and it wasn't a cat.
"You go that way." Loralei pointed to the right, where there seemed to be a living room with worn, and moldy furniture. "And I'll go this way." She pointed to the left, where a piano was tilted on the side, and was missing a leg.
"Meet at the back of the house?" Katie asked.
Loralei nodded, before going in, wand raised. She walked through the rooms, finding nothing other than things that would be left behind if someone moved out in a hurry. There were no pictures, but there were dead flowers in a vase in the dining room. No one was in the house as far as she could see. That was, until she reached the back of the house.
"Well hello, Potter." Said a voice coming out from behind a wall in the kitchen.
The woman wore a black dress, wild curly hair, pale skin, sunken eyes. She was beautiful, but she had a crazy look in her eyes. A murderous one. Bellatrix Black.
"Hello, Bellatrix." Loralei said. "I haven't seen you since you graduated. How's Narcissa? Andromeda?"
"Andromeda got blasted out of the family. Married some mudblood, much like your brother." Bellatrix was holding a knife, she pointed it at Loralei.
"Yes, but love has nothing to do with blood status, Bellatrix." Loralei replied. "Now, why don't you put down the knife, and your wand and we can have a chat about it."
Bellatrix laughed, sounding half crazy. "I am not that stupid, Potter. You may be fucking my cousin, but I'm not going to go easy on a girl, especially to one that got my cousin to leave his family."
"I'm his family now." Loralei told her.
There was a flash in Bellatrix's eyes. Jealousy?
Loralei was rather surprised. "You fancied your cousin? We may be Brittish, but how messed up are you?"
"You know nothing." Bellatrix's face shut off, and her wand appeared in her left hand. She shot a curse towards Loralei.
Loralei dodged, the curse shattering a vase behind her. Loralei shot a body-binding curse back. She didn't want to kill anyone, but she wasn't going to let Bellatrix get away. Loralei knew she was a Death Eater from what Sirius had told her.
Bellatrix blocked Loralei's attack, as Katie came running in, shooting her own body-binding curse, but Bellatrix saw her first, shooting a curse with a purple color in its spark.
Katie dodged, but not far enough, it hit her shoulder, and made her fall on her back.
Bellatrix was on the floor, her wand and knife still in her hands, before Loralei pulled them from her grip, and gave them to Katie, who was now back on her feet, pointing her wand at Bellatrix. Blood was falling down her arm and dripping on the floor.
They both looked up when they heard something going on upstairs.
"Go." Katie told her before Loralei could ask. "I can handle this."
Loralei nodded, before running to the front of the house, and running up the steps, a weasel patronus zoomed passed her as she ran. She knew immediately that it wasn't a good sign. The moment she got up the stairs, a killing curse whizzed passed the side of her head, missing her by an inch.
Loralei shot back to the man who aimed for her. He had dark hair and pale skin, slight of build, but in case she made it out of there, she would be able to give them a description.
Loralei didn't know what she was doing. She just went with her instinct, using whatever curses and spells came to mind. She didn't even notice the two red headed bodies on the floor. She just did what she could to stay alive. Loralei was able to give him some damage, but he was able to get more on her.
He his her with the cruciatus curse. It felt like the worse feeling in the world. Like fire and ice was surging through her body. Like she was being stabbed, and her muscles were being peeled from her skin. What was only seconds felt like hours, slowly ticking by.
"Leave her, Dolohov!" Bellatrix yelled as she ran up the stairs. "They have help on the way, we can't be caught here."
"Should I kill her?" The man asked. Dolohov.
"No." Bellatrix told him. "We both know what the Dark Lord wants with her."
The man let out a frustrated sound. "Fine." And with a crack they were gone.
Loralei was still shaking on the ground, when she heard her name. That gave her enough strength to not pass out.
"Loralei?" A weak voice said. That was enough to make her crawl towards a dying Fabian.
He looked like he was hit with a thousand swords, on his face as well as his body.
She crawled to him, and hovered over him. "Fabian, it's going to be okay." Loralei told him. "Help's on the way. You're going to be fine."
"Gid-Gid-" He stuttered.
She looked over to him. He wasn't bloody like Fabian, but his eyes were open, the light gone from them. She shook her head. "I don't think he's okay."
He let out a shaky breath. "There were five. W-w-we took-k-k Thr-r-ree d-down."
"Sh, it's going to be okay." She told him.
"Y-you need to t-tell Moody." He told her, his voice getting weaker. "I loved you." He said, looking into her eyes.
Tears appeared in her eyes. "I loved you too."
He shook his head. "No, you didn't, but that's okay." He cleared his throat. "But I think it's time to have our last kiss."
Loralei shook her head. "No, no. You're going to live." She told him.
"We both know I'm not." He let out a shaky breath. "I d-don't th-think I want-t to without Gideon. I-I wouldn't-t wish l-l-losing a t-t-twin on a-anyone. It'sss l-like los-sing half-f of-f yours-s-self."
Loralei sniffed, tears streaming down her face. "Please." She cried. "Don't die."
"Remember me." He begged.
"Always." She whispered, before pressing her lips against his in a light kiss.
When she pulled away his eyes were still open, but the light was gone.
Loralei stopped fighting the need to pass out, and everything went black.
A/N: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'd say I hope you liked it, but I can't blame you if you didn't. I had some Fred and George feels during these chapters. Did anyone else?
Blue Luver5000: Thank you!
C.B. Weasley: Thank you! I'm afraid there isn't much comedy in this chapter...
koryandrs: Thank you :)
