RICKY'S POV:
Brax and I stood in the kitchen, him having called Heath, Bianca, Casey, Tamara and Kyle back. Hearing them all talking amongst themselves as they made their way up the path to the house, we sat down at the kitchen table…
"What did you need us for so urgently?" Bianca asked as they all walked into the house
"Sit down, guys" I replied
"Ric, is something wrong?" Heath inquired, raising an eyebrow at me
"No, nothing's wrong" I replied, smiling at him warmly
"Just sit down. Ricky and I have got some news" Brax informed them
Doing as he asked, they all took seats at the kitchen table. Glancing at Brax, he entwined his hand with mine… "I'm pregnant"
"And I managed to keep it a secret!" Heath proclaimed
"What?" Bianca questioned, raising an eyebrow at her husband
"Nothing" he replied
"You knew?" she asked
"Kinda, yeah" he informed her
"And how come I didn't? I guessed last time" she replied
I smiled at her… "You don't have to be able to guess every time"
"I know, I just, oh, never mind. Congratulations" she proclaimed
"Thank you" I replied, chuckling as she hugged me tightly and then moved to hug Brax
One-by-one we were congratulated, everybody sitting back down again…
"So how far gone are you?" Bianca inquired
"3 months. We had the scan today" I informed her
She smiled at me warmly… "And how're you feeling?"
"Absolutely fine" I replied "I was terrified earlier because of what happened last time but my amazing husband managed to calm me down"
"Don't say that, he's got a big enough head as it is" Casey sighed
"Oi, I can give godfather duties to Heath and Kyle, y'know" Brax informed him
"What?" they asked in unison
"I want you to be godfathers as well as Uncles" he admitted "what do you say?"
"Sick" Heath chuckled, shaking Brax's hand across the table, Casey and Kyle doing the same
"Have you chosen godmothers yet, Ricky?" Tamara questioned
"Not yet" I replied "unlike my unpopular husband, I have more people in my life to choose from"
I kissed Brax's pouting lips as he feigned shock…
"Right, so who's up for congratulatory pizza?" Kyle questioned
Everyone agreed yes and we made our way to the restaurant…
Sorry for the rubbish ending… Now what? I'm thinking Brax with flat-pack furniture putting the nursery together?
