Chapter 18: The End of Europa and Mira
"The time of the world has been lost." Europa grinned. "Through the power of the great Saturn-sama. And yet there are still those who would oppose us. You Saints are tough."
"I won't let you off the hook just stealing your Cloths and time anymore." Mira declared. "I'll have to take your lives too."
"And the lives of Pallas and Athena, the two Goddesses." Europa added. "It'll be even better if we extinguish the shine of the Senshi's Star Seeds in the process."
"We won't let that happen." Hyoga swore.
"We shall retake the world's stolen time," Shun promised. "And we'll defeat Saturn."
"Mere humans cannot defeat the awakened Saturn-sama." Mira scoffed.
"I don't know about that." Hyoga snapped.
"You guys make me so mad." Mira sneered. "Well, you won't have to feel sad about your friends being killed by Saturn-sama." He appeared behind Hyoga. "Because you're goin to die first." He reappeared behind the ice Saint, having dodged his punch.
"If nothing else, you're fast, Mira." Hyoga admitted, the Pallasite having slammed a fist into his stomach.
"You as well, Cygnus Hyoga." Mira remarked, Hyoga's punch having connected to his side.
"Do you really think you can defeat Saturn-sama, the God of Time?" Europa taunted, dodging Shun's chains. "You may be able to defeat weak Gods like those. But if I kill them, I can be a God-slayer too."
Our power is equal? Hyoga frowned as he and Mira clashed.
At this rate, the battle will never end. Shun mused as he and Europa met head-on.
"Why aren't you paying attention?" Europa tsked. "Destructive Slash!"
"Ultimate Rejection!" Mira released his attack.
"That instant's distraction cost you your lives." Europa smirked, the two Pallasites taking down the two elder Bronze Saints. "Is this all the power the legendary Saints have?"
"I'm disappointed." Mira sighed.
"Now," Europa materialized his circular blades. "God-killing… God-killing… What's this?" he looked down at his feet which was trapped by Shun's Nebula Stream.
"Nebula Stream." Shun stated, getting back to his feet.
"Oh my…" Europa tsked. "I'm within your swirling Cosmo? I can't move, huh?"
"Stop this." Shun warned. "I don't desire any more senseless bloodshed."
"Come on, Europa." Mira chided. "Stop screwing around. Then, I guess I'll be the one to extinguish the Star Seeds' shine. My legs… they're frozen." He looked down.
"Absolute Zero." Hyoga remarked. "Cold that is -273 degrees below freezing has stopped your movements."
"You deliberately let me hit you, so you could do this?" Mira barked.
"Now you can't use your speed." Hyoga shrugged.
"But how did you survive my Ultimate Rejection?" Mira demanded. "I knew I hit you."
"When you hit me, your fist was already frozen." Hyoga replied.
"My Chronotector." Mira gaped, as his armguards shattered.
"I guess you enjoyed destroying Cloths." Hyoga added. "How does having your own Chronotector destroyed feel? Now it's my turn. Diamond Dust!" he took out Mira.
"I can't believe I lost to a mere Saint…" Mira muttered as he was blown away by the freezing storm.
"I'll tell you what you just told me." Hyoga remarked. "I can't believe Saturn's top men are so weak. I'm disappointed."
"Oh my…" Europa sighed. "Mira, are you already down? Fine then. I'll end this myself."
"Stop this, Europa." Shun cautioned.
"You're just as I'd heard." Europa snorted. "But I didn't expect the Nebula Stream to be so powerful. However, I cannot withdraw. Saturn-sama's world has nearly arrived. I can't lose here! At the very least, I'll have to remove the Cleanser!"
"Nebula Storm!" Shun blasted Europa off before he could lay a hand on Ami's Star Seed.
"What Cosmo…" Europa muttered as the energy storm overwhelmed him. "So this is Nebula Storm."
