Chapter 19: End of the Battle!
"Chrono Conclusion Eternal!" Saturn cast his final spell, turning everyone one Earth into stone. "It's over. Everything is over. The humans' time will never return. Athena, Pallas, and all of the Saints are frozen forever. Oh, blue Earth, the humans who polluted you are gone. Now, you will shine even more blue, even more beautiful. And with time, this pain in my heart will fade."
Koga, Saints! Saori passed her thoughts to her warriors. I can feel your faint Cosmo. But that Cosmo can barely keep you conscious, let alone allow you to move. Eventually, even your hearts will be swallowed by the silence of time. Her spirit rising, she reclaimed her Nike Staff, along with the four Star Seeds in her hand. "Saints, lend me your strength once more. Give me what little Cosmo you have left. Now, give that Cosmo to Koga." She instructed, merging everyone's power and channeling it using the Star Seeds. "Koga, take our Cosmo. You are the light. You are the hope of all humanity."
"What's this?" Ikki dug himself out of the rubble. "Aegaeon…" he spotted the broken helmet. "I see… so you returned me here from the space-time rift? I'll pay my respects the only way I can. With the shining light of Omega." Turning to the sky, he powered up and sent his Cosmo to Koga.
"No way…" Shun breathed, his eyes settling on the bright Star Seed before him as it slowly materialized into a human form.
"What the…" Mercury gave her new Senshi fuku a look over once she was reformed. "Pluto never told us there was a level above 'Holy'."
"Welcome back." Shun whispered into her ear, drawing his wife into a hug.
"I'm sorry I scared you." Mercury leaned into her husband's embrace.
"So, where did the other three go?" Hyoga thought to ask.
"Pluto and Saturn went back to wherever they came from, and Jupiter," Mercury grinned. "It's kinda of obvious."
"She's with nii-san, then." Shun chuckled. "Now, how about we get back home? Sumi's waiting for us."
"Oi, can you two do this somewhere private?" Harbinger asked. "All this mush is melting my brain!"
Months later…
Ami spewed her tea after Kiki paid the couple a visit and informed them about Harbinger's promotion to Pope.
"Yeah, that was Makoto-san's reaction too." Kiki chuckled, as Laki played with baby Sumi.
"You managed to track down nii-san." Shun was impressed. "Wow."
"Tell me he hasn't turned Sanctuary into 'Fight Club'." Ami pleaded.
"Won't be surprised he did." Shun joked.
