Sorry for the long wait. I've been busy. Anyway, here's chapter 11.
Chapter 11: Unspoken Bonds.
Melissa had no idea. She should have thought more about the kind of people who would be traveling to Acmetropolis, now that she and the person driving the car are in the midst of war. The driver is a rabbit with white fur, brown eyes and black hair. Her name is Ludmila Kralicek. She was an Estovakian medical student studying in the Canadian sector. Ludmila is traveling to Acmetropolis because her boyfriend is a soldier in the Estovakian military. She firmly believes that going to Acmetropolis will somehow reunite them. It took a long time to get even that much out of her. Most of the time, she hardly says a word. Melissa and Ludmila are certainly an odd pair of travel companions-two women, hopelessly in search of their loved ones. Maybe it's the language barrier, but talking doesn't seem to be their strong point. But Melissa feel that Ludmila and herself share a common goal that goes far beyond words.
That's the end of this chapter. Kralicek is Slovak for Bunny even though the official language of Estovakia is Russia. Anyway, we'll check on Melissa and Ludmila later in the story. Please review.
