Hey guys! Kirarifox13 here! Soooooo I haven't updated this story in forever. I'm going to give you guys the honest truth. For one, I just didn't have the focus necessary to properly write this fanfic. I was honestly busy with my job, school, other hobbies, etc. Now don't get me wrong. I enjoy writing fanfic and I love having you guys read my work but I just felt off about my story while I was posting it. It's why I've neglected it for so long. Until now.
I was laying in bed last night thinking about this fanfic no lie. I realized that the dynamics I've created between the characters makes no sense for the direction I wanted to take the story at the time. I shouldn't have made Minato and Kenshin older brothers of Naruto and Natarii. It just doesn't work…there are things a father can teach a child that cannot be learned from a sibling. And with the way the dynamics were set up, the background of the parents of these four was never addressed and probably would have never been.
I also forced a relationship between Naruto and Natarii without much setup or progression. This reflects one of my desires as the 15 year old I was to have a relationship. I wanted one so bad that it leaked into my writing. I also put their ages way ahead of their maturity and I had the two more powerful than should be plausible for their age without any struggles or learning. I never dove into Natarii learning a new technique. The battle scenes I had created for this fanfic were pretty terrible, not going to lie. I may not be able to put to words the images running through my head in the heat of battle but I will try to put more of an effort into making the battles actually worth reading and picturing. Also, I'm revising Natarii's Himugan.
I do not understand why I decided to have her be an open palm striker when Kenshin is the Batousai...the Himugan is going to be involving swordsmanship this time around because I have the fanfic in Kenshin's world, not Naruto's. That isn't to say that the Hyuga clan won't make an appearance but one of the main characters should be using a sword. Naruto and Natarii will be set back to 12. There will be a romance in this story. But nothing serious. More fluff, cutesy stuff to make you giggle and warm your heart. The more steamy, well maybe steamy stuff will progress as they get older. But first and foremost, the friendship between the two will be reborn and molded into a strong bond; I want the bond to be Naruto worthy. Also, I won't be having Sasuke be a complete butt this time around seeing as how he can't be so emo at 12. At least, I won't be making him that way.
Anywho, I'm going to be revising the story completely so it will be its own story now. So if you want to try to deal with me again as the author, feel free. I will do my best to update at least once a week. Now that I'm in college, shit is really getting real. I hope that the revised version is pleasantly better than its original.
