Here's chapter 19 everybody.
Chapter 19: Changing of the Guard.
A train makes a stop at the train station. A man in Estovakian Air Force attire and sunglasses walk out. He is a man with brownish black hair and grey eyes. His name is Lieutentant Commander Ilya Pasternak, the squadron leader of the Vampire Team and new squadron leader of the Strigon Team. When Pasternak walked out the train, he notices Voychek.
"Lieutentant Colonel." Pasternak called. He approached Voychek and gave him a salute. Voychek returned the salute.
"Glad to see you're looking well." Voychek said.
"You too." Pasternak said.
This man was once a pupil of Voychek. Many years have passed since then, but Lieutentant Commander Pasternak still has that same spark of confidence in his eyes he had as a young man. He was brought to Acmetropolis to help the Estovakian military turn the war in their favor. Now that he has been promoted to captain of the Strigon Team, Pasternak is sure to be a thorn in the side of the Acmetropolis military. Voychek and Pasternak takes a seat at the table.
"Don't leave your baggage. It may be uncomfortable, but keep it hidden behind your back." Voychek said to Pasternak about his briefcase.
"Huh?" Pasternak said all confused.
"Trust me. It is how things are done here." Voychek said.
Voychek asked Pasternak if he knew Garuda 1.
"Know him? My sole reason of being sent here was to fight him." Pasternak smiled to hide the rage within him.
Voychek thought that should have been his passion-his fire. But things have changed. This man is about to step into the world he once knew. Voychek's days in the sky are behind him now. The bitter taste of loneliness is all he have left.
