A/N: Happy Late Thanksgiving to everybody who celebrates it! :D As usual my dad was the one making food for everybody, so all the leftovers stayed with us and I'm forced to walk around like a stuffed chicken because if I don't they'll go to waste and my dad'll get pissy. -_- Sorry this took so long. I've been busy. Honestly I'm writing this to put off a four page essay due Monday, but whatever.
Chapter 19: Realization and Acceptance
Kagome didn't make the left that lead down the street to her families shrine. She was just too upset at the moment to see her family. So instead she took a right that lead toward one of the busy shopping centers in Tokyo. Maybe her favorite coffee would lighten her mood.
Inuyasha's bullshit had hurt her more then she expected it to. He was suppose to be her friend! Then he went and made that rude comment not to mention that kiss. How could he just up and kiss her when he knew she was in love with Sesshomaru?
That thought made Kagome stop dead in her tracks as her blue eyes widened. "I'm in love with Sesshomaru." She gasped quietly, her mouth slightly open. "Shit." She really needed that coffee now.
Her heart skipped a beat as she began walking down the street once more and tried to figure out when she had fell for him.
She pulled her button down red coat closer to her body as a cold gust of air blew against her, reminding her of the cold December weather for a moment. She had never felt just how lonely her life was until she came back to Tokyo. Maybe that's how she came to fall in love with him. He helped her get through her loneliness when she herself didn't know she felt such a thing.
Kagome thought she could help Sesshomaru get through his problems at the beach house, but it seemed he helped her through her problems instead. She just wished she knew when she had falling for him.
Puppy ears flashed around in Kagome's mind and she had to sigh in defeat as she figured it out. She couldn't help but smile though. Of course it would be from her first dream about him, her, and two children calling her mommy.
Even through the cold wind that chilled her cheeks, Kagome knew her cheeks had turned an even deeper shade of pink at the thought of how she came to be a 'mommy'.
"Blahh! Get your head out the gutter Kagome." She mumbled, turning on the street the shop was on.
She couldn't help but smile though as she remembered Sesshomaru's face when she told him about the dream. Maybe that's what got her too. His eyes shinned brightly as he wrapped his arms around her, and a warm happy feeling settled in her chest. But she had been afraid. That had been the true moment she knew her feelings, at least subconsciously, and they frightened her. She had lashed out at Sesshomaru for it, and probably chased away the best thing that ever happened to her.
"I'm an idiot." She mumbled walking into the small cafe and getting a confused look from one of the, she guessed, new employees. "Miss are you all right?"
Completely coming out of her inner turmoil, Kagome touched her cheek as a wet burnish feeling started to appear. She had been crying. "Uh, yeah. I'm good. Can I get a Caramel Cappuccino please?"
The woman gave her a doubtful look, but didn't push as she rang up the order, making Kagome thankful the usual employees that knew her weren't around.
A minute later she paid the woman and accepted her coffee with a small thank you before sitting at a two person table in the far corner by the window.
She tried to go back to her thoughts of Sesshomaru and her feelings for him, but her mind just didn't feel like letting her wallow in her misery. It had did it's job in letting her figure out her feelings and how much of a screw-up she was. That was good enough.
Not paying attention to the world around her, Kagome missed the silver-haired male in a knee-length button down coat stop in front of her. "Kagome?"
(A/N: I so wanted to stop it here to rile you guys up, but I thought I wouldn't harass you guys today. :P)
Looking up, Kagome gave a small smile as the dai-youkai took the seat in front of her. "Inu-Papa."
The demons head tilted slightly in confusion making his high pony-tail follow the movement. "Little one, why are you out here in this weather?"
It was Kagomes turn to be confused as she switched her gaze to the window only for her eyes to widen. "Snow." She whispered, watching as large flurries fell from the sky. "I hadn't even noticed."
"Indeed." Touga replied making Kagome wince slightly. "I figured you would be home by now, or with Inuyasha at the manor. I was a little surprised to see you sitting here by yourself. Especially with the smell of salt on your cheeks." He said gently, but the young miko knew by the look in his eyes he wanted an explanation, so with a deep sigh Kagome began her tale of the days events and her realization to the fact she loved his oldest son.

Kagome wasn't really sure how she got here only that Touga was a persistent demon. Some how he had talked her in to coming to his house for tea and bonding time that didn't involve his ignorant sons.
But honestly this was weird on so many levels to her. After she had explained everything with Inuyasha at school, then hesitantly explained her feelings about Sesshomaru, Touga had dragged her to his house and placed her on the living room sofa.
Kagome sighed probably for the hundredth time that day as the demon walked in from the kitchen holding two steaming green mugs. "I changed my mind. I made Hot Chocolate instead." He said making Kagome nod. "Is that alright?"
"I think I should be heading home." She said, her blue eyes shifting to the weather man on TV who was talking about a blizzard. It was a little early in the season in her opinion though for one.
"No need. I already informed your mother of where you are, and since it's a weekend she rather you stay until the blizzard passes."
Kagome accepted the dark drink with a frown on her face. This was the last place she wanted to be at the moment.
"You know," Touga began grabbing Kagome's attention. "I never thought I would see the day Sesshomaru would catch the eye of a girl and possibly have feelings for her."
Kagome snorted, already knowing the demon's thoughts about Sesshomaru having a girlfriend. "You and me both. Yours was worse though. You always thought he was interested in men."
Touga bellowed out a laugh. "Could you blame me? I've caught Inuyasha with at least three girls in this house since that boy reached maturity, but never have I in Sesshomaru's many centuries of living caught him with one female."
Kagome smiled slightly, knowing her father-like figure was just trying to make her feel better. That comment only brought up thoughts of how many woman Sesshomaru might have actually sleep with though.
"Yeah. So um, where's Inuyasha?" She asked taking a sip of her drank as Touga growled.
"I told that idiot if he tried to come home for the next week, he won't have to worry about having an heir."
The miko just looked at Touga and blinked before slowly turning her gaze back to the television. She wasn't sure if Touga meant he would disinherit Inuyasha or make it to were he would never children, but Kagome had a slight feeling it could have been both answers.
"Um, you don't have to do that, especially if the cause is because I'm here."
"Nonsense!" the dog demon waved her off. "I would have rather not had him here anyway. It's not that I don't love the boy, he is my son after all, but if he doesn't have a female stashed in his room when he's stuck at home, then he's usually breaking something. Honestly I could do without either, and your company is much more preferred. Your like the daughter I never had."
Standing with a stretch, Touga gave the blue-eyed teen a nod. "I'm sorry to cut our chat short, but I had left work early to beat the storm, so I still need to take care of some things in my office. Will you be alright alone for a few hours?"
"Yes." Kagome answered, and with a small wave from Touga, she was alone once more.
"Finally." Leaning farther back into the sofa, Kagome paused as she saw Touga's I-Phone on the coffee table. She stared at it a moment, wondering if the Kami's were sending her a sign, before the wheels in her head began turning and she picked it up.
Biting her lip as the screen lit up and she swiped her finger across it, Kagome was thankful it didn't need a password.
She pressed his contacts and scrolled through the different names before coming to the number she wanted. She didn't think twice about what she was doing as she quickly took out her own phone and copied the persons number into it.
Standing with a speed the would probably make even demons jealous, Kagome made her way up to Touga's office on the second floor and knocked on his door.
"Yes?" She heard from inside before placing an innocent smile on her face and opening the white double doors.
"Hey, I was going to my room to take a nap and found this. Thought it might be yours."
Touga blinked a moment as Kagome extended her hand with his phone before accepting it. "Thank you Kagome. I'll call for you later when dinner is ready." He told her before watching as she left his office.
A small smirk appeared as he opened his phone and clicked on Settings to re-put his password back on his phone. "I hope she took the hint. I really want her as a daughter-in-law."
A/N: Think I'll stop here. This is usually where I stop around anyway and the next chapters going to be an over flow of information. Hopefully. Anyway, THANK YOU to all my follows and especially to my reviewers because we finally reached 100 REVIEWS! Epp! That's so awesome.
