Here's chapter 20 everybody.
Chapter 20A: Ragno Fortress.
It's March 6th, 2774, and it's been 14 days since the Garuda Team shot down the Aigaion and the Estovakian Aerial Fleet. Although the Loonatics are well known to the planet, they've earned immense popularity not only within the military, but with the government, and of course the civilian population. Even radio hosts were talking about making medals dedicated to Ace, or Garuda 1. Once again a peak to the Loonatics fame. Anyway, the Acme forces are still advancing, but a fortress stood in their way. Anyway, the Garuda Team was sitting in the briefing room with their new friends as Donaldson starts the briefing.
"Near the east of North America lies Ragno Fortress in Grageo Canyon. Our fortress there is still under Estovakian control. Substations for a giant dam and military tunnels line the area near the fortress. Those places act as an extra means of defense for an already high security area. Now that we've destroyed the enemy's heavy command cruiser, we're on our way northeast towards Acmetropolis. But the only way route for our heavy deployment of ground forces to travel on passes through Grageo Canyon, and Ragno Fortress is Estovakia's trump card for keeping us out of Acmetropolis. If we can recapture that fortress, it's smooth sailing to Acmetropolis from there. Eliminate the Estovakian unit there and recapture Ragno Fortress! The battle is tipping in our favor. All planes, let's get ready." Donaldson explained.
"All right everyone, let's jet." Ace said.
Everyone did the usual after the briefing and took off for Ragno Fortress.
