Mage or not Leliana always enjoyed listening to happy ending. Especially if those happy endings ended in marriages. Oh the dresses she thought, they were so pretty and frilly. Who wouldn't love weddings? "That sounds very romantic." She replied cheerfully on the part of their marriage sunset. "As Anders said you are a very lucky woman. One to find such a man and to be able to get out of the circle as you did." She paused for a moment to look away. "I may have been in the Chantry, but I still never understood why they thought they had to treat mages the way they do." She shrugged her shoulders. "Stubborn people I suppose."
Leliana glanced back and fourth between Anders and Alexander. She was thrilled to hear they didn't have to walk all the way to there next destination. If she had to she just might of had Anders carried her... Kidding. But seriously she must of lost that weight she gained in the Chantry traveling with him so far with all this running away. "Good." She finally had started to say, only to part her lips once more. "When we leaving?"
Anders could only nod towards Leliana's theory of the Chantry. He seemed rather quick agree with anything negative being spoken about the White Spire. "They are all nothing but cowards. They fear of what we can do."
"Believe me, my friend. The Imperium agrees with you whole heartily." Alexander said and pressed his fingers back together.
When Leliana had asked about when they were going, Alexander reassured of their departure after they had their meal. After eating and swapping stories; some more embarrassing than others for Anna and Anders both, it was time for them to get in their carriage and ride off. The journey to the mansion didn't seem to long though; even though it was past many cities up north. Anders had half suspected trouble when taking the Imperium Highway, but to his surprise everything seemed alright.
"Well, this is it." Alexander announced upon reaching the mansion. "Home sweet, home…"
"You can stay with us!" Anna quickly chimed towards Leliana as she helped her and Anders out of the carriage.
"Shouldn't two love birds be more concerned about wanting to spend time with each other?" Anders asked, before looking up at the huge ivory mansion and his mouth dropped slightly. "N-Not that I wouldn't mind being pampered on for a while."
Anna smiled bubbly and waved her hand in a slight pleading manner. "Well, it's not every day I get to see you or anyone from Ferelden anymore! Please? Alexander's going to be so busy with everything else, and I'll be lonely."
Leliana was thrilled to get out of that stuffy and cramped area of the carriage. She glanced over her shoulder to the trio behind as she began to twirl on the tip of her toes to now face them. She crossed her arms and shifted her head to the side. She hadn't amazingly taken a good enough look at the mansion so when Anders expression had changed so dramatically this caused her to look behind her and glance to the mansion behind her.
With a dropped mouth Leliana had turned to now face the large home of Alexander's and Anna's. But she still listened carefully to Anna's and Anders words. Shaking her head, Leliana looked to Anders while giving him a questionable look. "Anders don't be so rude" Her attention then went to Anna who was obviously pleading them to stay. Leliana knew if she were all alone in such a large place like this she would be not only lost but lonely as well. "Sure why not." She began to speak up cheerfully to Anna's way. "As long as I have my own room!" She teased to Anders direction. "This man takes up the whole bed, plus he snores of all things. A girl needs her beauty rest after all."
"I only snored that one time. You take all the covers." Anders pouted some after hearing Leliana making fun of him.
"You two shared a bed…?" Anna asked with a slight sparkle in her eyes, which quickly caused the other mage to glance down and cleared his throat in return.
"Um… money was tight." Anders responded soon.
Anna giggled and took them both by the hands as she started to guide them upstairs and into the main hall. She showed them their rooms that they could stay in for as long as they wanted, and gave a tour of the mansion for as far as their feet could stand the walking. One thing Anders had noticed about the day as it passed by, was that Anna was true in her prediction. Alexander never once even passed them by; and yet he was known to have been in the mansion somewhere.
They ended up spending a week there, mostly keeping Anna company. She invited them to stay longer for the coronation of her Magister's Initiation test; which turned into a large big-wig party. People were there no one really knew; but it was held to introduce Anna into the community.
Standing in the hallway, Anders was dressed in Tevinter robes that Alexander had left for him to wear. He shuffled through a small crowd of servants until reaching Leliana's bedroom door. He knocked on the frame and waited for her to step outside.
"Come on now. The sooner we get the greetings over with, the sooner we can hit the buffet." He was quick to encourage.
Okay so Leliana was right. If she did venture out in the large mansion she would get lost. So that's why she mostly stayed to her room, and only left when she knew Anna would be in a certain area at a certain time. Leliana mostly found herself keeping her distance from Anders. She figured this way it would be easier to ignore her emotions, and thus wouldn't act upon them. So far it worked out well too. She just hoped he hadn't noticed her avoiding him as she attempted.
Hearing the knock upon the door caused Leliana to look over her bare shoulder as she was slipping into a gown. She figured it was Anna since she was more likely to come to her door, or so she thought. She made her way to the door, her dress still held up to her chest. Upon opening the door she saw Anders standing there. With widened eyes she squealed lightly slamming the door in his face. Obviously she hadn't heard his words through the closed door before she opened it.
She rested her back against the frame of the door, allowing her racing heart to calm. Once that was settled she began slipping her arms through the arm holes and zipped up her dress. "Hopefully I didn't slam his hand in the doorway or his nose..." she thought for a moment, her body shifted around facing the door once more and upon turning the brass knob as she opened the massive door.
Leliana looked to Anders in his robes, and with a shrug of her shoulders she walked past him closing the door behind her. "Shall we?" She asked while not waiting another moment as she made her way down to the crowds of people and to hopefully, eventually find Anna.
When the door had opened and he saw that she wasn't as fully dressed, his blush started to return. Though the actions next came so fast, Anders could not react accordingly. The door struck the end of his nose, causing him to step back in pain. He held the sore red bump and rubbed it for comfort, while trying to decide if it was worth it or not. It looked like he was about to cry as she passed by him when she was ready.
"Are you always this zealous when trying on new outfits?" He whined, walking a little blindly from behind her.
Anna waited at the end of the hallway, looking down at her light pastel pink dress. The satin fabric wrapped around her fitted form like a second skin. With the poof at the end of the dress left it look as if she was having a transition from a sweet-sixteen or a prom. In her blonde curls, where were carrying roses in her hair to match. She fiddled with her dress some, trying to straighten out what over pretentious wrinkles she saw.
"Maker…I'm so nervous." She started to say as Leliana and Anders came up to her.
"Don't worry. They're just here to meet you, aren't they?" Anders reassured proudly and after a while of being certain that his nose was okay, gave her arm a light elbow. "And what's not to love, eh?"
"But that's just it. They aren't as welcoming as you or Leliana. They're just like Alexander. They're nice but…" Anna frowned some, feeling her confidence fading. "It's like their eyes are hollow."
"I thought you said you loved Alexander." Anders raised a slight eyebrow to her.
Anna glanced away and remained silent for the moment. She sighed and folded her fingers together. "…I told you, it was an arranged marriage. How can I love someone I've only just met?...Someone who doesn't even want to come to my bed at night or talk with me? The only reason he was so social when we were in Solas was because people were watching."
Leliana tightened her arms around her frame her bare fingertips dug into her sides of her delicate dress. She hadn't answered Anders questioning, she stayed silent and to herself the whole time they walked down the hallway. Her orbs fixated onto the floor. Upon looking up Leliana saw Anna overlooking herself. This caused a small smile begin to smear across her lips as she dropped her hands to her side and began to run up the her as best as she could in the heels she wore.
"You look beautiful." Leliana chirped in cheerfully as she made her way behind Anna fidgeting/fixing with her hair out of habit. She looked over Anna's shoulder curiously as she began to speak of Alexander, and him being different than what he seemed. Furrowing her brows she began to step back and place each of her hands to her hips.
"That's odd." Her hues traveled over to Anders, a puzzled look upon her features. "I'm sure over time you will learn to love him. It just takes time... Specially with arranged marriages." She reached over placing a friendly hand on Anna's shoulder. "Men are kind of dense. Just look at Anders." She paused to point to him. "I'm sure if you just engage more then he will open up?"
"Enough of this talking though, eh?" Reaching out Leliana grasped onto Anna's hands to tug her along. "Come on people are waiting. And looking as good as you do, you should show it off. It might even get Alexander's attention."
"I'm not dense. My skull's just a little thick." Anders folded his arms and practically sauntered by just to see if it would have helped to cheer Anna up in any way.
He tried to stay scarce for the moment since Leliana seemed to enjoy at pulling his name into the butt of her jokes. On the other hand, Anna did seem to push for a smile again, so maybe the plan wasn't all that bad. Anders just didn't like the thought of an arranged marriage; or of anyone trying to control another person's life—so he'd be quick to have disapproved of some of the traditions that the Tevinters had.
But trying to fix a society that seemed too focused and too stubborn in their beliefs that they didn't need a change, is always something difficult. Anders might not could help in Tevinter areas, or even free Anna if that's what she was secretly asking, but he could continue to at least save the mages outside of these borders.
"You're right. I'll try to have more fun and relax." Anna nodded to Leliana and gave in to the tugging. She was giggling again, at least—seeming to have been happy to have had others whom she looked up to and cherished as heroes.
The main hall was lined with chairs and small tables. Upon the surface was generally either a small lit candle or a rose in a tiny vase. The dishes were set for a proper feast for those that would come for the ceremony. They staff had been the ones to open the doors for the Lords and Ladies who came generally in pairs. Then of course came multiple magister members of the Black Divine, and lastly some of the Bannons and their wives or mistresses to accompany them.
Alexander seemed to have had everything running smoothly as planned. Though he was still waiting for his bride to appear; she had yet to show. He figured she may have been the type to be fashionably late; or perhaps she wouldn't show up at all. It was just a Pledge Ceremony, and to see Alexander on the edge because of it being a day also with other Magisters were most likely trying to kill him…
It was enough to make his eyes roll. However, he did need to remain happy no matter what was to happen, since it was their celebration, and it was part of tradition. The Magister smiled some to his staff as he started to walk; trying to avoid the members of the household fluttering about him like powdered doves trying to keep his hair smoothed back and his tail-coat fluffed. He was almost certain they were doing the same to Anna somewhere at the other side of the house. She would show up. She had to. It'd be an embarrassment, if she didn't…
"Presenting the new soon to be marked Bannon of Minrathous, the current Seventh leader of the Black Divine, Son of Natalie and Sampson Hamilton, and future Candidate Representative to the Magistrate's Office to the Arl's side, Alexander Loranz Hamilton." The announcer said once he stood before the two chairs that awaited on a pedestal in front of a long table filled with a grand turkey feast. There were other chairs around in front of it; some were filled though some were still empty. Alexander stood at his appointed end and waited, looking for his soon bride-to-be.
"As well as his betrothed, soon to be marked Bannoness of Minrathous, a Ferelden mage from outside of Tevinter lands, High Apprentice of the Ferelden Circle of Magi in Lake Calenhad, and future entitled heir to the Hamilton Estate, Anna Amell." The announcer had finished. Of course by that time, all eyes were looking for the Bannoness who had yet to appear.
Anna stared at the crowd, completely terrified but keeping a straight face. She also didn't know how long she was supposed to stand there before she could actually move away again, but she had Leliana to guide her down the hallway. She took a step towards the center and nearly fell backwards against Leliana in order to keep herself steady. Feeling embarrassed and wanting to run; the only place could go was forward. Anna could feel her eyes watering after being taken closer towards the two chairs, one from where Alexander had waited.
The crowd had seemed to have been staring at Anna in silence as she carefully walked towards the steps. Alexander could only stare steadily towards the maid in waiting - Melina, who was supposed to have been keeping a close eye over Anna. Of course she was meant to have fun, but not to go overboard. The steady stare he was giving her, proved to have sent chills down the elven woman's spine; knowing that punishment was going to follow this night. Alexander's only safe was when he moved towards Anna and helped her up the stairs and into her seat.
"My lady seems to have started the party a little early without me." He joked, earning a few chuckles from the room and a few claps upon Anna's entrance.
Of course there were the whispers back and forth that followed, but for the most part, the silence had soon resumed. Alexander's eyes had been all the while trying to pin-point which mages within the room would have had him killed and which would have rather plotted for it for a later date outside somewhere. Of course there was the main men he had to watch for: Bannon Wesley, Bannon Charles and his wife Priscila; Bannon Jean-Claude, and about four other Black Divine associates.
Meanwhile, Anders remained sneaking in from the back once all of the commotion had started to settle. He shook his head some, wishing Anna the best. His attention though was drawn slightly towards the buffet table soon. He felt like a glass of wine could take off the edge of Leliana's cold shoulder to him lately.
As the two had walked down the hallway Leliana had kept a firm grip on Anna. Feeling her uneasiness almost come over her. She looked to her shifting her head to the side before asking. "You okay?" But as she saw Anna continuing her stroll towards Alexander made her see she had everything under control after all. Her emerald hues followed her for a moment, at least until she stood by Alexander's side. A smile coming over her as she found herself going in another direction of which Anders had went.
As she met the buffet she snatched a plate up in her arms and began piling on the food. If one were to look at the plate it would be thought the plate was made for two instead of just souly her. Before she found herself at a table, she reached over by a passing butler and took a drink off his tray. Unknowing what it may be she began gulping it down, quenching her thirst.
"You know if you drink like that you're going to have a fun night."
Leliana glanced over her shoulder, once the cup left her lips and was placed on the table. She looked at this person questionably, the female behind her let out a chuckle waving her hand to the her. "Don't remember me, eh?" She asked, her arms crossing over her frame. Again Leliana stared, keeping to herself for a moment before parting her lips finally. "No.. I'm sorry."
The woman released a distraught sigh, shaking her head. "It's me, Eva..." She paused pointing herself. "You know, we grew up together... Practically like childhood friends!" She exclaimed cheerfully.
"You mean childhood enemies." She whispered in a short reply.
"What?"
"Oh nothing! But of course. I'm sorry I hadn't remembered you... Err you know my childhood how I was crazied after my mother had died. I just try and block it out. But what are you doing here?" Leliana asked curiously knowing this first hand was not her hometown. Her accent even showed this.
"I'm here with my husband." She said pointing out in the distance to a ravishing man, his hair as dark as night and his eyes were of a silver, he looked like someone of high authority maybe even more. Lelianas mouth dropped at the sight of the male. "Don't drool..." Eva had joked. Leliana closed her mouth un-knowing she had been doing such an act.
"Wow. But I mean why are you in Tevinter? Why not back home in Orlay?"
"Its so boring in Orlay. I left after I was old enough and gathered enough coin to travel, I came here to start a new life. And that's when I found my husband... But enough about me. I heard you traveled with the Grey Wardens, and are a chantry girl, whatever happened to the bad old Leliana?" She teased. "Wheres your knight in shining armor?"
Leliana glanced down disappointed to revel she had no such thing as close to as a husband. And her being in her early twenty's as it was brought more stress upon her at this moment, otherwise she never thought of it. "Err well." She began pausing in her words. She looked up from her friends tapping foot and beyond the crowds of people she saw Anders. A quick thought had passed through her mind. Would he go through with it? After all she had been ignoring him like a bad plague. But it was worth a shot. Pointing out, unknown if Eva could see him or not. "That's my fiance." She said, as she began to drop her arm. What came next was unexpected. A shove of her body to go forward which almost had caused Leliana to fall into some people that stood nearby. "Well go get him I would love to meet the chap." She replied cheerfully.
"But hes not social."
"Then why is he here then?"
"Err... Cause I made him?"
"Then make him come over here! I'll be waiting, and helping you with this food of yours. You'll get pudgy if you eat all this."
Leliana furrowed her brows, crossing her arms over her frame. She didn't take another moment as she made her way to Anders knowing she wouldn't win this argument in the first place.
Walking up behind Anders she began to lean in towards him, tapping him on the shoulder as she whispered his name. "Anders." She looked around curiously making sure her friend hadn't followed her. "I need your help... I ran into an old friend. A real old friend..." She paused letting out a sigh. "Will you do me a favor...? Pretend you're my fiancé?"
Anders had been drinking down a large glass of wine near a planted ficus tree. He heard Leliana approach him, figuring that she was going to pop off another remark or use him as some example or reason to belittled. He didn't understand why she had been this frigid ever since their arrival into Minrathous. … Okay, he might have told her off about any chance of being with him; but surely she was able to understand his reasons. This kind of harsh behavior was too much; to the point he had to put up a proverbial wall around himself just to be ready for her.
Though after hearing her request, the surprise sent Anders immediately towards the plant and sprayed it with the wine he was drinking. He coughed some and wiped his mouth from the back of his hand, turning slightly to face her—and would have tried to form a reply if it wasn't for the couple standing behind her giving him an awkward glance.
"…It needed water." He shrugged sheepishly and then looked down towards Leliana. "What did you do? Never-mind…I don't want to know…"
Anders reached up then and started to cross his left arm nearly over his right before attempting to take his sips smaller now; a bit more wary of what could be said and of what eyes that were around him. "So… You think after this week being taunted, I'm expected to fold that easily to you, do you? Well, I've got news for you, little miss tart, I'm no one's pretend-back-up-boy. You'll have to bargain with me better than that."
Leliana stood there a bit shocked at his sudden reaction to her asking him a simple question. It wasn't like she was actually asking him to marry her; just pretend they were to be wed someday. She parted her lips as if to reply to his question of what she had done. But she was quickly cut silece as he said nevermind. Her brows furrowed, and she crossed her arms. She didn't see what the big deal was.
"You owe me mister." She replied, her arm extended out as she planted her index finger to his chest poking him a few good times to get his attention. She was obviously referring to the night they spent together back in the dwarven tavern. Sure she was the one that pursued him and maybe it wasn't all too great to gain feelings for Anders as she did but she was trying desperately to ignore them. But whenever she had to be this close to him again, even speaking to him ignited the flame again.
She took a few steps towards Anders, and reaching down she took his drink from his hands to finish it for him without asking. And placing it on a table nearby. Eventually Leliana found herself sitting down upon his lap her arms wrapped around his neck as her fingertips played across his back. "Please Anders I'll do whatever you wish. Just name it?" Pausing she began to think of anything he would want to do or desire. "I can get you a kitty, once you settle down of course and aren't on the run. Umm I can make you whatever you want to eat, give you a massage." She used her fingers to playfully dig into his tense muscles. "I'll even be nicer… I know I've been… Er… Not so nice lately. And I'm sorry. I just am on edge; you saying what you did didn't help. But I know now that I shouldn't have let it bother me as I did." Her orbs averted away from his as she began to stand from his lap. "So what do you say? We have a deal?"
Anders blinked some from each poke in the chest he received, and his pouty eyes returned back in their expression. He would have hated to admit it, but Leliana was right. Anders shouldn't have crushed her if – wait, wait-even if he didn't, he'd still be in this situation later in the future. Wouldn't he? Anders wasn't entirely sure; but if this would have at last made amends in some way, then he had to do it.
As she guided him towards sitting down, he was already a little nervous to begin with. Looking around at first before speaking. "Um.. Leliana? We're still…"
His words trailed off as she tried to bargain with him this time. If only such things had happened more often—if only he'd allow them to happen more often. He was constantly beside himself in these predicaments. He listened to Leliana's proposals though not so much after feeling her fingers tracing small patterns over his Tevinter's robes. Silk felt good, but it felt even better when she used it to coax deals to him. It was almost a shame when she had moved to stand up.
Anders would comply; he had to. Standing up after her, Anders looked around to study some of the other couple's appropriate behavior. He placed his left arm around Leliana's waist, to hug her form slightly more to him—if anything else to claim as ownership. Then, he turned more towards her ear, smiling brightly—as if to have been whispering sweet nothings in them. Though, that was far from the truth, even in his act, for he was merely answering her.
"I want a tabby, a fish dinner, and a shoulder rub," He compromised in whispers, "and from now on what happened in the dwarven city, stays in the dwarven city. Lead the way then, and I'll follow."
Leliana couldn't stay mad at him forever especially as he did that puppy eyed look. It was as if it melted her heart into a million tiny pieces. "Anders." She whispered, reaching out to place a hand on his cheek which quickly left as the two stood to their feet.
Looking ahead Leliana could see the impatience upon her friends face. Her posture was standoffish along with her facial expression. Leliana let out a small squeal as she was pulled to Anders side. It was unexpected from him, even if he was playing around. Her orbs looked to his hand that wrapped around her waist, and without knowing she felt the heat of blood rushing to her face. She attempted to shake it off as she placed her right arm around his torso, as her fingers found his making a fidgeting playful motion with his hand until she intertwined her own fingers with his. To then begin to lead him over to her childhood frenemy.
"Well this is my charming Fiancé." Leliana spoke out once she was in close enough range.
Eva looked over Anders, a smile beaming upon her lips. "How did you get such a good looking one. Last I remember you looked so boyish." She joked, but Leliana knew she meant every word. That's just how she was.
Leliana shifted her body closer to Anders as she began to shake her head. "I grew out of my childhood looks, as you can see now."
"You sure. Otherwise how would I have recognized you?" She joked, leaning back into the chair that was once Leliana's picking a piece of fruit off her tray to begin eating it.
"So dear, this is one of my friends from my childhood… Eva, short for Evelina… Aren't you thrilled to have met her?" She joked to Anders way.
Eva took no thought to Leliana's words as she begun to dig deeper into Leliana's love life. "So tell me how you two met then? I would love to hear the story."
Leliana blinked a few times, and then she looked to Anders. She wasn't sure to tell the truth or tell a tiny white lie. She eventually decided upon the second decision. "Well I was in the Chantry." She paused to look away from Anders, she knew what she said next would probably uerk him. "He would come to the Chantry weekly; we threw stolen glances at first. Then the more he came the more we reached out to one another and found our way to each other."
"So you two did meet in the Chantry, how sweet. Seems like you found a man of your beliefs?"
Leliana averted her hues away for a moment not wanting Eva to see the lies in them that she held. "Yup. I guess you could say so." Her hand reached out to Anders to grasp tightly around his own.
"So when are you two getting married? You know girls become of age marring around seventeen and yet you're way past that mark."
Here we go again. Leliana thought to herself, as she began to cross her arms over her petite frame, her head cocking to one side. "Well dear would you like to answer that question?" She asked giving him a small nudge of her elbow.
Anders looked towards the women as they continued to gab in their meeting. When any indication was brought towards his attention, Anders bowed his head properly. He wasn't certain if Leliana had given him his public name or maybe a fake name, so he would have to guess around.
"Charmed, I'm sure, Miss Eva… I trust that my Leliana's already mentioned my name? I wouldn't want to appear anymore of a stranger to you." Anders started to say quickly; listening between Eva and Leliana. He smiled some at the mentioning of Leliana being a little "boyish" back in her day.
"Oh, but that was that attracted me to her. She has a bit of a scratch to go with those claws." He joked right back.
Though he didn't like the thought of Leliana mentioning a fabricated first-meeting through being in the Chantry. The slight stare in his eyes remained carefully focused on her through her entire story. Anders should have been the one to come up with such things; he was a better liar, or so he liked to think so.
"It's felt like I have been walking on clouds ever since." Anders remarked towards Eva, only remembering the last few words that were spoken to him at the time.
He blinked some towards the question of marriage and soon felt the nudge that made Anders shrink a little before straightening his back proudly again. He smiled some and waved his hand a little in his gossip. "Well, we would have been married by now if it was up to me, but we can't compromise on the date. She wants in spring; I want it in summer, the years pass on until one of us yields to the other…"
Anders sighed playfully and tilted his head in a slight pose. "It really is troublesome…."
"That's just like our Leliana not to give a name." Eva started as she crossed her arms over her frame. "Such a ditz." She joked.
A feeling of being lost came over Leliana as she was unsure if to give Anders real name or a fake one. She kept to herself silently after Anders words. A name… She thought to herself repeating that same short sentence in her mind. Then a light switched on making her part her lips as she reached out to place her hand upon Anders chest, gazing into his eyes only to look away a second later to Eva. "I'm sorry. But my handsome fiancés name is Andrew." She bit her lower lip, glancing up to Anders wondering if he would go along with it, and also wondering why she had such a friend that picked on her so. Maybe that's why she lost so much contact with Eva beforehand?
Leliana folded her arms over her chest at Anders remark of her claws. It seemed as if the two were getting along just peachy, finding a common ground to throw jokes around about her. She shook this off though, knowing she would only have to deal with Eva only a short while longer. Then she would just have to put up with Anders jokes.
But in hearing Anders words had struck her back for a moment. She glanced up to him, her face as curious as her mind was. He was pretty damn good at this lying. But she still couldn't help but feel her stomach twist and turn in a good way, almost like an emotional roller coaster.
"Well it seems Leliana just needs to compromise. Possibly set the marriage date in-between the two seasons." Eva suggested.
Being stumped once more, Leliana had shrugged her shoulders as she trailed over to an empty chair to sit down. "Well you know me; stubborn as ever."
"This is true…" Eva replied, giving a short pause before parting her lips once more. "What about children?"
Blinking a few times, Leliana had begun to tap her fingers upon the table. As she pondered the question, but thankfully she made it look like she was counting how many she wanted. "I use to want just one, but as time had passed I found myself wanting more. I really don't want my children growing up alone. Like I had to." She replied with a smile shifting her head towards Eva. "As for Andrew here, I'm sure he would be happy to give me as many as he would like. Since it involves doing the deed, and it's hard keeping him off me anyways."
Eva allowed a chuckle to pass through her lips, while leaning back into her chair. "Well I am happy for you Leliana. It seems like you finally have your life on track unlike when you did when you were traveling with the hero of Ferelden." Looking past Leliana and Anders she glanced to her husband and smiled. "If you ever find yourself in Orlais, stop by sometime. Your more than welcome to stay with us… And send me that invitation. It would be nice to see you get wed… But for now I must depart, my other half must be wondering where I wandered off to." Standing to her feet, she began to slide her hands down her dress smoothing out any wrinkles that laid there. "Take care of her Andrew." She said, smiling his way after giving a small wave and disappeared into the crowds of people.
Leliana stared off into the abyss of people she had left into. Waiting a moment until she was no longer in hearing reach before letting out a sigh. "Ugh, finally I thought I would have to keep lying." She muttered as she shifted her gazed to Anders "Thank you Anders, I don't know what I would do without you." She teased leaning in to reach over and tap his nose playfully.
"Now our deal…" She began, thinking over what he had dealt with her upon asking him for this favor. A tabby, a fish dinner, and a shoulder massage. Well since they were eating now there was no point to cook him anything at this time, and she doubted she could find a cat right now, so the only thing she could cross off her list was the massage. She knew it was going to be awkward at first, but a deal was a deal. "Would you like your massage first?" She asked shifting her cranium to the side, as she reached out for a nearby fresh drink of wine, grasping it and eventually sipping on it.
