54. Chapter 26B: Liberation of Acmetropolis

Chapter 26B: The Liberation of Acmetropolis.

Garuda Team and their fellow comrades lands at Shleisinger Air Force Base after Acmetropolis has finally been liberated and Ace shooting down Pasternak, who was flying a CFA-44 Nosferatu. Anyway, Garuda Team and the other pilots waited for an hour for Donaldson. When he did, he immediately starts the debriefing.

"Acmetropolis is finally free. The occupying Estovakian forces have been wiped out. Great execution of this mission has handed us a clear, overall victory in the war. We're still taking light resistance in a few limited areas, but it's only a matter of time before we have complete control of the capital. Our officials should start drawing up a cease-fire agreement, as they've made preparation for a meeting with the Estovakian leaders. Good job. The eight of you are a part of history now. Your actions will be remembered for generations to come." Donaldson said.

"Ah, home sweet home." Duck said.

"Glad to be back." Lexi said.

"We can't return to HQ yet." Ace said. "We have to stay here until it is clear for us to head back."

Afterwards, the Garuda Team stays at the base until further orders.
