Upon arriving back at Stark towers, Stark was still inside his workshop, however he was actually working on anything. He was actually enforcing a meeting...
"Look, I know that Loki's up to something. Don't just tell me that a guy like that almost causes the imminent death of the entire population in New York gets sent back to his freaky planet and comes back all happy and jolly saving damsels in distress off the streets. I know something's up."
"Stark, we can't just assume that he's up to something. Have you seen him doing anything suspicious?" Natasha Romanoff, AKA Black widow, worlds deadliest assassin and once temp to Tony Stark said.
"Yes...acting Nice."
"Okay. I give you that one, because he was a spoilt little brat on the Helicarrier, but apart from that. Have you seen him doing anything out of the ordinary, as if he was going to try and carry out what we stopped?"
"No, I haven't, but trust me Natasha, I know when something isn't right. He's visiting every day now, and him and this girl are getting awfully cosy. I hate it. I mean, I don't even do that when Pep's around, even if it does get her upset."
"And insulted!" Pepper retorted from inside the doorway.
"Pep! I didn't know you were there!" Tony rubbed the back of his neck, laughing, trying the set the mood jolly, but Pepper was having none of it.
"Tony Stark," Pepper started, trying to think of a way to insult him.
"Yes?" He smirked, going over to her and leaning in to kiss her, but upon hearing Natasha's disgusted remark and clearing her throat, he simply pecked her on the cheek and ushered her out promising that he'd be up in a few moments.
"So, what do you want to do?"
"Get everyone back. I'll get Steve, you get Barton, I'll get Selvig to get a way to contact Thor...and as for Banner...I'll leave that to whoever wants to risk their lives," Stark ordered.
"I'll get Banner. I managed it once I can do it again, besides, he ain't that bad when you get to know him. Any ideas on where he's hiding?"
"I don't, but that's nothing a S.H.I.E.L.D search can't help us find out."
"I'll get on it, then. When everyone is here...and that means on the Helicarrier, Tony... We'll get started..."
The connection died, and the Tony sped up the stairs three at a time, running over to Pepper, who looked to be in a foul mood.
"Pep?"
"I'm not talking to you!"
"Well, you kind of are..."
"I'm not happy, Tony... I thought you Better, but...you just humiliated me!"
"Pep, I'm sorry! Look, then I thought it the right thing to say, because, come on... You've seen them two, right? You've seen them! They act like teenagers in love, it's disgusting, seeing them all lovey dovey like that."
"Well they are Engaged, Tony. What do you expect them to do?"
"Keep it until they are private to show their affection? I don't know. Why do you think I wait until we are alone to do what I want to do..."
"You, Tony Stark, are a walking womanizer. It suddenly reminded my why I fell in love with you."
"You only just realised that now? You are very...very slow, Pepper," he laughed. "Now, I have some urgent searches to plan out, but, You, you get to come on a little trip in a few days. Pack your bags, we're going on an indefinite Vacation."
He kissed Pepper on the cheek and ran off to the workshop, printing out some coördinates.
First he'd find Steve Rogers, or the First Avenger, as Coulson called him. From there he'd need help rounding up the rest.
He called his best car - the hot red Cadillac convertible, which was fixed countless times whilst he was perfecting his Iron Man suit - to go around to the entrance to Stark Towers, left Pepper a note saying he'd be back as soon as possible - with company, and inputted the coördinates he found - it was time to Assemble the Avengers once more.
-
Steve Rogers - Captain America, The First Avenger, a medical experiment to create the Super Soldier. That's all Steve knew himself to be. He was just an ordinary human with abnormal strength, agility and stamina.
At this current time, Steve was impaling all of his anger out onto a punch bag, which, within minutes of it being put up, it was torn straight down the middle and flew off the chains, hitting the wall behind it - the sand spilling out all over the floor.
Steve went to pick up the replacement punch bag, which there were 7 laid out in a line, but stopped as he heard the door to the gym opening, he dropped the chain and looked up.
"Stark," he muttered, out of breath, "What are you doing here?"
"We need you Cap," was his reply. "We need you to Assemble the Avengers and lead us to victory again."
"Who is it this time?"
"If I told you, you wouldn't believe me."
"Hydra?"
"Nope... Think Ice...Mischief...Leather."
A loud thud was heard against the wall, and the plaster cracked and peeled away. "Loki..."
"Ding ding, we have a winner."
"What's his plan?"
"That's the problem. We don't know yet -"
"Then why come to me if you don't know if we're going to face global catastrophe again?"
"Because its Loki. You saw what he was capable of last time, who knows what he'll do this time. That's why we need to Assemble everyone as soon as possible and get them rounded up on the Helicarrier to devise a plan and get ready. He's already in New York. In my tower, no doubt."
"Wait, he's in your tower? You let a demigod, capable of world domination in your tower?"
"Yes, but it won't be on my behalf. It will be because he has been let in by his betrothed woman."
"What, he has a girlfriend now?"
"Fiancée actually. She came home a few nights ago high on love. He proposed at the restaurant."
"Oh dear. I feel for the girl and I don't even know her." Steve began to unravel his bandaged hands. "Come on then. I better get my stuff and join you. Do you want me to go straight to the Helicarrier?"
"I've made arrangements for Natasha to pick you up, and she should be arriving right about...now."
The noise of a helicopter could be heard overhead and Steve sighed, "Tell her to give me 10 minutes. I need to freshen up, I can't stay in these things. I feel disgustingly dirty."
"Will do. Cap...thanks for coming on board. Let's hope we can Avenge the world again."
The First Avenger was on board, the only people Tony needed now were Hawkeye, Thor, and The Hulk.
They will do whatever they can to protect the earth, and if that goes wrong, they will be damn sure to Avenge it.
