A parody of the video game Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. After a unexpected blitzkrieg attack by the Estovakian military, the Loonatics must help the Acmetropolis military by joining the Acmetropolis Air Force and forming the Garuda team. Can the Loonatics stop Estovakia from taking over Acmetropolis? Takes place in the Shattered Skies Universe.

57. Mission 14: Acmetropolis Patrol

Mission 14: Acmetropolis Patrol.

[Acmetropolis, Acmetropolis. 2051 hours. March 31, 2774.]

Shleisinger Base Controller: "Takeoff permission granted. Savour that beautiful night sky."

Ace: "Disperse Garuda."

Ace: "I'm airborne."

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda 1 and 3 through 8, standby over the highway. Wait for Garuda 2's takeoff."

Shleisinger Base Controller: "Garuda 2, takeoff permission has been granted. Take to the skies."

Chopper: "…Garuda 2, roger."

Acme T Radio DJ: "Hey! Zed is back in Acmetropolis, baby! Men and women of our armed services, have you reunited with your loved ones yet? Listen up, military bigwigs, let your subordinates go home early tonight!"

Chopper: "Sorry I'm late."

Ace: "That's all right, Shamrock."

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda Team, continue patrolling the skies over Acmetropolis. And keep an eye on your radars."

Sky Kid: "It's been some time since we've been able to fly in peace and quiet."

Lexi: "Tell me about it."

Avalanche: "This is Avalanche. Acmetropolis may be free now, but we sure aren't. Man am I thirsty…"

Duck: "You're telling me that."

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda Team, your next duty is to fly over the Capitol."

Windhover: "What an awesome view. Only war pilots like us get to see fireworks in the night sky from this angle."

Trixie: "You said it. It's so pretty up here."

Snake Pit: "No sign of the enemy on radar. Mind if I drop my altitude a bit? Can't see the fireworks up here."

AWACS GhostEye: "Get your head out of the clouds and focus on the mission. We're still at war here."

Snake Pit: "Right. Roger that."

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda Team head to southwest residential. I'm about to send you an objective point on radar."

Ace: "Roger that."

Snake Pit: "I've got a wire in from control. It says anyone without plans after the mission is to meet up in the briefing room."

Avalanche: "Count me out."

Blizzard: "He can't be serious."

Windhover: "Leave it to the pencil-pushers to ruin all our fun."

Snake Pit: "There's also a P.S. here. He wants to know if pumpkin pie'll do for dessert."

Serac: "Maybe he's not so bad after all."

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda Team, head for your headquarters."

Sky Kid: "This is Sky Kid. I'd just like to say, 'mission accomplished'."

Acme T Radio DJ: "Hey, Fred, your wife says come straight home. Don't go out tonight!"

Red Baron: "I know it's old news but I just like saying it. Acmetropolis is ours once more!"

Blue Max: "You can say that again."

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda Team, get to Route 7."

Avalanche: "How about I fly between the buildings and give 'em all a nice little airshow?"

Chopper: "Bad idea. No one wants to watch you stinkin' up the sky, Avalanche."

AWACS GhostEye: "If you wanna goof off, save it for the ground. A wild jet will only get people on edge down there."

Avalanche: "Still can't take a joke, I see. Let's go out for a cold one after the mission, Shamrock."

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda 1 through 8, get to Acmetropolis University."

Windhover: "There's a couple arguing at the foot of the Arch. Somebody intercede!"

Acme T Radio DJ: "This one goes out to Dominic, serving with a tank battalion. Maria has a little message for ya."

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda Team, pass over Route 7. Your patrol mission's over now. Nice work. Standby until granted permission to land."

Ace: "Roger."

Chopper: "Guys, think you'll can go out with Avalanche instead of me? Hope you guys don't mind. I need to be alone tonight. My girlfriend is dead. It's just been confirmed…I saved my planet, but I lost my love. What kind of 'ace' or superhero can't even protect his own girlfriend. Laura…Laura…How can I let this happen?!...Once this mission's over, I'm turning in my wings, I've had it. I have no more reason to fly."

Snake Pit: "An unknown is moving in fast from the northeast. Is that a fighter?! At this stage?!"

AWACS GhostEye: "I've confirmed an unknown on radar. That's no fighter. It's travelling too fast!"

Sky Kid: "What's going on."

AWACS GhostEye: "An unknown is coming in from the northeast. All planes assume combat formation."

Ace: "Weapons hot, Garuda."

AWACS GhostEye: "The unknown just jumped off radar. Hold on. Multiple objects are travelling on the same coordinates, I think these are…"

Avalanche: "I got a visual! Those are missiles! GhostEye, we've got cruise missiles!"

AWACS GhostEye: "All planes! Intercept those crusie missiles! Keep our city safe!"

Acme Ground Unit: "Shift to emergency combat stance! Hurry!"

Ace: "Garuda Team, engaging!"

Ace: "Firing!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda 1 destroyed the target."

Ace: "Garuda 1, Fox Three!"

Duck: "Fox Three! Fox Three!"

Ace: "Target destroyed!"

AWACS GhostEye: "2nd wave of unknown incoming."

Ace: "Roger, moving to intercept."

AWACS GhostEye: "Unknown destroyed but we've got a whole lot more on the same coordinates! They just won't quit!"

Windhover: "It's a cruise missile. Shoot it down."

Snake Pit: "Data check…Stovie fighters are coming in as reinforcements. Don't these guys ever give up?"

Estovakian Squadron: "We're back for you America!"

Ace: "America?! Again?!"

Chopper: "What the heck is with these guys?! Haven't we seen enough death?"

Ace: "Talisman, Fox Two!"

Ace: "I've destroyed the target!"

AWACS GhostEye: "3rd wave of unknowns incoming. They're morphing into cruise missiles! Intercept!"

Chopper: "I'm sending all of you straight to hell!"

Acmetropolis Command: "This is Air defense Command. We are unable to protect all areas from cruise missile attacks!"

AWACS GhostEye: "4th wave of unknowns incoming!"

Avalanche: "They're still coming?! I'll shoot 'em down before they separate!"

Duck: "There are too many of them!"

AWACS GhostEye: "It just split! Cruise missiles incoming!"

Avalanche: "I can't catch 'em all! They're too darn fast!"

Tech: "I've got visual on an unknown. It's huge!"

Acme Ground Unit: "Enemy attacks planes approaching! We've got our hands full with these cruise missiles! Back-up!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Our ground unit's taking stealth fighter attacks. Can anyone out there provide support?"

Windhover: "I'll head over there. Just watch me hold those suckers back!"

Sky Kid: "I've got a stealth fighter on my tail! I can't focus on cruise missiles!"

Ace: "Firing!"

Ace: "Fox Two! Fox Two!"

Ace: "Target down!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda 1 destroyed the target."

Rev: "Speed, launch missile!"

Rev: "Yahoo!"

Acme Squadron: "Darn, he evaded my missile!"

AWACS GhostEye: "5th wave of unknowns incoming."

Ace: "Roger."

Lexi: "Edge, Fox Three."

Ace: "I have you now!"

Lexi: "Good kill!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Spread out! Cruise missiles incoming!"

Trixie: "I'm on his tail."

Ace: "Talisman, Fox Three!"

Acme Squadron: "I'm tailing him."

Ace: "Bull's eye!"

Duck: "Good kill, Talisman!"

Acme Ground Unit: "Roger, I'll head to base immediately."

Slam: "Fox Two!"

Acme Squadron: "This doesn't look good."

Saker: "Aim carefully. You know what'll happen if that missile strikes the city."

Ace: "Allied attack!"

Acme Squadron: "Roger. I'm heading over to engage the enemy."

Trixie: "Lynx, Fox Three!"

Ace: "Firing!"

Ace: "Bandit down!"

Acmetropolis Command: "Cruise missile impact! Scale of damage is unknown."

Tech: "This is Shield to Talisman. I saw the impact. It stuck near our headquarters."

Ace: "Roger that, Shield."

AWACS GhostEye: "6th wave of unknowns incoming."

Acme Squadron: "I'll take care of this one."

AWACS GhostEye: "Spread out! Cruise missiles incoming!"

Ace: "Firing laser!"

Sky Kid: "Talisman scored a kill."

Ace: "Missile, evading!"

Estovakian Squadron: "Fox Two! Fox Two!"

Policeman: "What the heck was that?!"

Tech: "Shield, Fox Two."

Acme Squadron: "Lemme handle this."

Lexi: "Bandit down! All right, next!"

Acme Squadron: "Fox Two, Fox Two."

Estovakian Squadron: "The end of the war is America's death and our victory!"

Ace: "What is up with this America stuff?!"

Ace: "Fox Two!"

Ace: "Bandit destroyed!"

Acme T Radio DJ: "The Air Force is overhead! Won't be long until the Loonatics arrives!"

Acme Squadron: "Bandit dead ahead. This one's mine."

Trixie: "Very impressive, Garuda 1."

Duck: "Garuda 4, Fox Two."

Ace: "Allied attack!"

Acme Squadron: "Roger, I'm heading over to engage the enemy."

Ace: "Fox Three! Fox Three!"

Acme Squadron: "Sorry to keep you waiting. Commencing attack."

Ace: "Target destroyed."

Chopper: "Shamrock downed the target!"

Chopper: "Lock on!"

Ace: "Oh no you don't!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Target down."

Ace: "Target down!"

Avalanche: "Darn it, how long is this gonna keep up?!"

AWACS GhostEye: "I can identify each launch position by following the trajectories. Command, give me the velocity during each terminal phase."

Acme Squadron: "Fox Two."

Avalanche: "Garuda 1 downed one."

Snake Pit: "Snake Pit to all planes. More enemy reinforcements are coming in."

Ace: "Darn it!"

Estovakian Squadron: "Checkmate, America."

Duck: "You're despicable!"

Acme T Radio DJ: "Don't you worry, listeners! We have angels in our skies! I'm staying on the air for ya folks. Hey, play something with some spirit!"

Policeman: "Command center, do you read me? Let the police handle the evacuation. You focus on those missiles."

Acme Ground Unit: "Don't give up! Everyone, give it everything you got!"

Chopper: "Talisman, I…"

Windhover: "Looking good."

Acmetropolis Command: "This is Air defense Command! Our ground unit has been destroyed! We can't hold back those missiles! I'm handing the reigns off to your air team. Keep Acmetropolis safe!"

AWACS GhostEye: "7th wave of unknowns incoming."

Acme Squadron: "It missed."

AWACS GhostEye: "Spread out! Cruise missiles incoming!"

Acme Squadron: "I got a missile coming at me!"

Duck: "Lock on!"

Acme Squadron: "Fox Two."

Ace: "I have a lock."

Ace: "Target down."

Duck: "Target down."

Duck: "Fox Two."

Lexi: "Garuda 3, Fox Two."

Ace: "Target acquired."

Chopper: "Shamrock, Fox Two."

Ace: "Allied attack!"

Acme Squadron: "Roger. I'm heading over to engage the enemy."

Ace: "Enemy down."

Acme Squadron: "I can draw it in closer."

Ace: "You're not getting away."

Windhover: "Looking good."

Avalanche: "This is Avalanche. Almost all enemy fighters are down. All we got left are those missiles!"

Ace: "You're mine!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Enemy shells have come to a halt. Looks like we out gunned 'em."

Ace: "Cover, Garuda. Weapons safe."

AWACS GhostEye: "This is GhostEye. I've identified the launch position. They're coming from offshore in the north. From the ocean!"

Chopper: "Talisman…An angel doesn't turn in his wings, until after his last dance, right?"
