Chapter 30: Aces of the Past.
The Loonatics are at their HQ to inspect the damage from the cruise missile that struck nearby. As they inspect in one particular room, the damage caused the floor to collapse beneath them revealing a underground passageway.
"A passageway? Where's this leading to?" Ace asked.
"Let's find out." Tech said.
Everyone walks through the long tunnel until they came upon a metal door. The Loonatics are curious on what might be on the other side.
"Hey, Chopper, you think you can take this door down?" Ace said.
"Sure. Everyone stand back." Chopper said before using his railgun powers to take it down.
Once they got inside, they found the light switch and amazingly the lights turn on. Once the lights turn on, the Loonatics saw lots of boxes all taped up. As they walked around, they found something they never expected to find.
"A fighter jet." Duck said.
There was a fighter jet in the room. Chopper realized this jet is to be a early version of a F-22 Raptor II due to the fact that it has a glass canopy. This Raptor had a blue-tinted paintjob and it had big black bold letters U.S.A.F at the nose. As the Loontics look through the rear, they saw something they never expect to see.
"Chopper, it's that ribbon insignia again." Trixie said.
"You're right." Chopper said. "Hey, you don't think these boxes might have information on the patches, do you?"
"Let's bring them up and see what we can find." Tech said.
Everyone then brought the boxes upstairs and started going through them. They have found the information to the patches they've found including another squadron called 'Gryphus'. Then, when Lexi opens one box, she found a picture face down. When she picked it up to see the picture, she gasped at what she saw.
"Lexi, what's wrong?" Ace walked to her side and copied her reaction. Soon all the Loonatics were gasping at the photo.
"Well-did-not-see-that-coming." Rev said.
It showed a wedding picture. It showed a female rabbit with tan fur, peach-colored fur cheeks, blonde hair and aqua blue eyes. The male rabbit had gray fur with white-colored fur cheeks and black eyes. It's weird for Ace and Lexi because the two rabbits looks like them without their uniforms. So could they be their ancestors? Everyone is determined to find out. After minutes of research, Tech found info.
"According to this, his name is Bugs Bunny, one of the most famous fighter pilots to take to the skies. His wife's name is Lola Bunny, the sister of Alvin and Kate Bunny and the niece of a famous fighter pilot. According to this, the patches we've found has a connection. Lola's uncle is Blake Bunny, known as Galm 1. Bugs is known as Mobius 1. Blake's brother-in-law is known as Gryphus 1, and Bugs and Lola's three kids, their nephew, and their neighbors son are known as the Razgriz." Tech said.
"Interesting." Ace said.
"I see you found my aircraft, doc."
The Loonatics turned around and saw a angel. It's that Bugs Bunny character.
"Whoa! Where did you come from?!" Ace said.
"See ya all are 'aces', but not happy you're serving for no country." Bugs said.
"No country?" Lexi asked.
"You serving for a one world order is not good. This so called 'Leader' of yours wasn't a good tried to wiped out all nations, that's right, my descendants hid my jet." Bugs said.
"Are you serious?" Trixie asked.
"Yeah, my wife can tell ya. Lola!"
Lola then appears too. Lola explains to them everything from the past, the 'Leader's role in the 2330's, the Ulysses, and the nations before their fall. The Loonatics were surprised.
"Wow, who knew that everything we heard was a lie about the 'Leader'." Ace said.
"One question, why are you here and not at heaven?" Lexi asked.
"Because, I want Ace to fly my aircraft." Bugs said.
"What?" Ace said.
"Look Ace, I see myself in you. You have what it takes and you gotta prevent Estovakia from being under a world order. If you fly my aircraft, nations will return and you might wanna call Donaldson to look at it cause my commander was name Donaldson." Bugs said.
"All right, I'll do it." Ace said.
"Good. Now, get ready, you got a big mission coming up. Ace, my flight suit and helmet's inside my plane. All right. Take it easy guys." Bugs said before he and Lola disappears.
Afterwards, Ace calls Donaldson to come look at Bugs' aircraft. Donaldson then tells everything about the past and will explain more at the briefing.
