A parody of the video game Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. After a unexpected blitzkrieg attack by the Estovakian military, the Loonatics must help the Acmetropolis military by joining the Acmetropolis Air Force and forming the Garuda team. Can the Loonatics stop Estovakia from taking over Acmetropolis? Takes place in the Shattered Skies Universe.

62. Mission 15: Chandelier

Mission 15: Chandelier.

[Sonne Island/Razgriz Straits, Estovakia. 0628 hours. April 1, 2774.]

Ace: "Disperse, Garuda. Weapons hot."

Windhover: "What a view."

Avalanche: "It's like a mirror. Like it's giving us a good look into the Estovakian soul."

Unknown: "Can you hear me? I'd like to say hello! Hello to all Acme Air Force pilots in the northern sky!"

Lanner: "What the. Who's voice is that?"

Melissa: "I'm just a civilian. My name's Melissa Hase."

AWACS GhostEye: "I think it's coming from Acmetropolis' radio station. Hey, we're in a war zone here!"

Melissa: "I don't know a whole lot about war. But…But there's something I need to tell you!"

AWACS GhostEye: "This air band is reserved for wartime defense purposes."

Matilda: "Please, pilots! Listen to my mom! She has something important to say!"

Chopper: "…We might as well hear what she has to say."

Melissa: "Please trust me on this. The Estovakian military….has that battery. And it can't be destroyed."

AWACS GhostEye: "She might be trying to disrupt our plans. I better contact Shleisinger Base."

Chopper: "Wait! Let's hear her out first."

Melissa: "But that's when its construction was completed."

Chandelier Launch Room: "Recovered to optimum cooling. We can resume with launching."

Chandelier Control Room: "Roger. Resume attacks immediately."

Strigon Team: "All Strigon Team members assemble for takeoff. For the glory of our country."

Strigon Team: "That was too close. Keep them away from the Chandelier at all costs!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Radar warning. Enemy forces incoming."

Melissa: "Can you hear me? The battery's weak points are its cooling units. If you can destroy those, it'll heat up and collapse on its own."

Matilda: "Not only that, even if they get those heat thingies, there's also a back-up. They have to get that, too!"

Chopper: "Do you two have any proof of this?"

Melissa: "We're trying to get you the data. The radio station's crew is sending it now."

AWACS GhostEye: "Data received. Hold on here…Ma'am, how did you get a hold of this?"

Melissa: "I got it from a flight instructor in the Estovakian Air Force. His name is Lt. Colonel Voychek."

Chopper: "Garuda 2 to GhostEye. Send me a copy of that."

AWACS GhostEye: "Roger. All planes, I'm sending you data concerning the enemy's weapon capabilities."

Chopper: "Got it! Whoa…"

Duck: "Oh boy."

Chopper: "Let's go, Garuda Team! It's time to finish this!"

Matilda: "Please be careful everyone!"

AWACS GhostEye: "All planes, let's move out!"

Ace: "Garuda, roger."

Windhover: "Windhover here. Roger that."

Avalanche: "Avalanche here, roger that."

Sky Kid: "Sky Kid here. Roger that."

Chandelier Launch Room: "Preparing Stauros for launch. Initiate loading."

AWACS GhostEye: "Cruise missile! They've just initiated the launch sequence!"

Windhover: "Those huge missiles are being carried through a gutter into the gun barrel!"

Sky Kid: "So this is what they used to try and blast that meteor…"

AWACS GhostEye: "There's a defensive barrier covering the target. That thing's not gonna budge under a few attacks."

Ace: "Talisman, roger that."

U.S. Squadron: "Darn it!"

Ace: "Firing!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Watch out. The enemy has a lock on you."

AWACS GhostEye: "Enemy cruiser sent under."

Strigon Team: "Be joyful. Our generals who brought us out of despair have given us a place to die."

Duck: "Fowl, Fox Two!"

Ace: "Fox Two! Fox Two!"

Ace: "Anti-aircraft gun destroyed."

Chandelier Control Room: "Keep the power balance at an equal level. Maintain speed at 30 knots."

Chandelier Crewman: "The Stauros is fully loaded and ready to launch."

Chandelier Launch Room: "Preparing Stauros launch. Initiate loading."

Chandelier Launch Room: "Stauros launch in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…LAUNCH!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Cruise missile! They've just initiated the launch sequence!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Launch of enemy cruise missile confirmed! It's headed straight for Acmetropolis!"

Ace: "Talisman, Fox Two!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda 1 destroyed the target."

AWACS GhostEye: "Enemy at 6 o' clock."

Estovakian Squadron: "We ready yet?"

Ace: "Fox Two!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Enemy destroyer sent to the bottom."

Ace: "Firing!"

Ace: "Target destroyed!"

AWACS GhostEye: "That's it! That must've been a cooling unit!"

Shleisinger Base Controller: "Air Force, do something about those missiles! We've got fires spreading fast in the north and south!"

Chandelier Control Room: "Begin the loading operation."

Estovakian Squadron: "Don't let American aircraft get anywhere near. Shoot down anything that approaches."

Chopper: "Watch out. The enemy has a lock on you."

Tech: "Just remember they aren't invinicible!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Watch out for that missile, Garuda 1."

Ace: "You're mine."

Ace: "Got him!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Missile was evaded."

Duck: "Darn Strigon. I'll give you a good dunking!"

Lexi: "I'm not going down until I'm empty!"

Ace: "Keep your head on a swivel!"

Trixie: "Lynx, Fox Two!"

Chandelier Launch Room: "Preparing Stauros for launch. Initiate loading."

AWACS GhostEye: "Cruise missile! They just initiated the launch sequence!"

U.S. Squadron: "I can draw it in closer."

Ace: "Launch missile!"

Chopper: "Careful now. The enemy has you on radar."

Ace: "I have you now."

AWACS GhostEye: "Take out those cruise missiles before they can get 'em loaded!"

Strigon Team: "Chico, he said, make it back alive…"

Strigon Team: "Milos, the fight is what keeps me alive. I've devoted my entire being to the fight for a better future."

Slam: "Fox Two!"

Ace: "You're not getting away!"

Chandelier Crewman: "The Stauros is fully loaded and ready to launch."

Chandelier Launch Room: "Stauros launch in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…LAUNCH!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Enemy cruise missile launched. Acmetropolis' been hit."

Chandelier Launch Room: "Preparing Stauros for launch. Initiate loading."

AWACS GhostEye: "Cruise missile! They've just initiated the launch sequence!"

Ace: "Anti-aircraft gun destroyed."

Ace: "Oh no you don't!"

Ace: "I've destroyed the target."

Ace: "Firing!"

Ace: "Target destroyed!"

Sky Kid: "The 3rd cooling unit's been destroyed! Moving on!"

Chopper: "Careful, now. The enemy has you on radar."

Ace: "Bandit down!"

AWACS GhostEye: "In gun range."

Ace: "Bull's eye!"

Duck: "Missile! Break!"

U.S. Squadron: "Close in. We're gonna blow that cooling unit away with a close-range attack."

Chandelier Launch Room: "Preparing Stauros for launch. Initiate loading."

AWACS GhostEye: "Cruise missile! They've just initiated the launch sequence!"

U.S. Squadron: "So this is the Chandelier…What a freak show."

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda 1, ESM is active."

Ace: "Firing!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda 1 destroyed the target."

Lexi: "Edge, Fox Two!"

Lexi: "Target hit."

U.S. Squadron: "Support Garuda Team. They're the lead squadron on this mission."

Duck: "Missile! Quacking!"

Chopper: "Careful now. The enemy has you on radar."

Ace: "Talisman, Fox Two."

AWACS GhostEye: "Enemy ship sent under."

Chopper: "Missile evaded."

Saker: "Look! The glacier's starting to collapse!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Enemy cruise missile launched. That was number 4. We're in a mess here!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Cruise missile! They've just initiated the launch sequence!"

Red Baron: "Nice shot, Talisman! We've almost got it!"

Strigon Team: "How far do the Americans intend to go with this humiliation of our country?!"

Ace: "Garuda 1, Fox Two!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Ground target has been eliminated."

Lexi: "Yes! Missile hit!"

Ace: "Talisman, Fox Two!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Target data confirmed. There's 1 left! Repeat, only 1 remaining!"

Ace: "Firing!"

Chopper: "Is that it?"

AWACS GhostEye: "That monster's got a back-up unit—an extra cooling unit."

Chopper: "The little girl was right. This thing still isn't dead."

AWACS GhostEye: "Thermo scan data confirmed. I don't believe this…"

Sky Kid: "Scan data received. This is where its back-up cooling unit is?!...That back-up cooling unit's inside the battery…"

Serac: "We can't destroy this. We can't even get close enough with that artillery on our butts."

Chopper: "Leave this to me. I'll move in for a closer look."

Lexi: "What?!"

Blue Max: "Don't be stupid, Shamrock. You'll be full of holes before you can get close."

Chopper: "This is Garuda 2. I'm going in alone at low altitude."

AWACS GhostEye: "Garuda 2, that's too dangerous."

Chopper: "I know it's dangerous. But it's time for me to dance with the angels."

Lexi: "Chopper, no!"

Chopper: "Almost there…Just a little further…Gotcha!...Did you get the data?"

AWACS GhostEye: "Data confirmed. Now pull up, Garuda 2!"

Chopper: "I'm losing thrust. But….maybe I won't need it. Let's see what these angel wings can do."

Lexi: "Chopper!"

Windhover: "Shamrock, you're off radar!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Shamrock! Respond! Chopper! Chopper!"

Red Baron: "Shamrock is down…"

AWACS GhostEye: "All planes! Get in there and save him! Shamrock is alive! He's gotta be alive!"

Avalanche: "GhostEye. Take it easy!"

Sky Kid: "That back-up cooling unit's inside the battery…Take a look at the bottom."

Blizzard: "Moving to dive down the battery! I'm gonna take out that back-up cooling unit!"

Strigon Team: "What lies ahead for us now? Now that we've lost the war?"

Ace: "Allied attack!"

Chandelier Crewman: "Transition Stauros to basing mode. Switch the back-up cooling unit to full power!"

U.S. Squadron: "Is this their way of circumventing the Boltzmann Treaty?! They're gonna end up killing us all!"

Blue Max: "Back-up cooling unit's destroyed! We did it! We finally got it!"

Lanner: "No. Not quite…"

Serac: "Now what?!"

Windhover: "It's barrel just opened up. That ugly thing's startin' to heat up from the barrel!"

AWACS GhostEye: "It's vital area is back behind the barrel. Talisman…We can trust you with this, right?"

Tech: "This is Shield! General Gustav Dvornik is here and he's trying to escape!"

Ace: "He ain't getting away!"

Ace: "Hello Dvornik! Just like your daughter, you're history!"

U.S. Squadron: "Garuda 1 scored a kill."

Ace: "I'm going in!"

Trixie: "He's in!"

Ace: "We won guys! Talisman, Fox Two!"

[The Chandelier collapses.]

AWACS GhostEye: "I saw the cannon go down. All planes, it's the end of the war."

U.S Squadron: "We finally did it!"

U.S. Squadron: "Garuda Team did it!"

U.S. Squadron: "We took that baby out!"

U.S. Squadron: "Talisman, you're the man!"

AWACS GhostEye: "Look Talisman. The sun's comin' up. Even after the darkest nights, morning always comes. Those we've lost gave their lives to bring the morning light. Living this day to the fullest-is the highest tribute we can offer to their memory. Now come on! Let's get back home!"
