Subject: General Pucino
"What's the status on the missile?" General Pucino asked. "Armed and ready sir." A worker said. "Good." Pucino said as he made his way into his office again. "Ms. Cranston." General Pucino greeted. "That's Doctor Cranston." Jill said. "Titles have no meaning in this world anymore Doctor. Doesn't matter if you're the Queen of England, or the President of these fine states, in the end you have something someone else wants, and you are a peasant. So, I assume Bullworth has no other life in the city?" Pucino checked to make sure. "With all due respect sir, you will address me as Doctor when you hear what I have to say." Jill explained.
"Unless you've managed to develop a cure for all of this, then I have no need to hear anything else." Pucino said. "Sir, I have something much better. A way to alternate the infection, make someone something greater than they've ever been before. I am talking about the Superman effect. As you may know about the controversial experiment of altering human beings ability to a fuller extent, I've figured out the missing link. Chemicals if you will, in the power plant in Bullworth." Jill explained. "Then why not keep that place standing?" Pucino asked. "Because it is easy to replicate, and get the same results." Jill said. "And what of this fugitive of yours? The one that got away, developed a free will, and what do you have to say about him? Won't he survive Bullworth if he is there?" Pucino asked.
"If you are referring to Volunteer Experiment number 2894, I can say with all honesty, he will not survive, anything toxic or nuclear, he cannot survive. The nuke would wipe him out." Jill said with assurance. General Pucino then picked up the comms and got in contact with his Lieutenant. "Ryker. It's Pucino. Any word on the ground?" He asked. "Not a single soul as far as we can tell. We are still standing by on your mark; we're ready to confirm Order 1910 Last Drop." Ryker said. Pucino giving the nod to his man as the man launched the nuke. "I told you. Nobody is in the town." Jill said reassuring the general more than herself. "You are saying you never caught sight of my grandchildren?" Pucino asked. "I'm afraid not." Jill said. "Got sight of the missile General. We will confirm Bullworth is destroyed in ten, nine, eight, seven, six… Wait… What the hell is that?" Ryker asked. "Looks like a small jet or something." They could hear another soldier.
"Jesus Christ! It just connected with the missile! Looks like somebody loves this shithole a bit too much! Hang on. I'm getting something over emergency comms." Ryker said as the radio went quiet and Pucino looked at Jill with suspicion. He waved in his soldiers to apprehend Jill. "Wait. General Pucino I can assure you…" Jill began as Pucino shushed her. "I don't want to hear it. You have said enough already. Throw her in the cells." Pucino said as the soldiers took her out. "General. Somebody's still here, they say they got at least fifty or so people. Including your granddaughter Katie." Ryker said. "And Richard?" General Pucino asked. "Said he died saving his sister." Ryker said with remorse as General Pucino only sighed. "Get them out of there Ryker. Bring them here, that's all I care about right now." Pucino said. "Already on their way sir." Ryker said as General Pucino nodded.
Subject: Ryker
Ryker flew over with the other choppers and hovered around different areas of Bullworth, and finally saw the survivors at the school. The choppers landed to collect the survivors as Ryker stepped out of his chopper to greet them. "Anybody infected?" Ryker asked. "No." The acting leader of the group said. "You guys look like you've been through shit." Ryker said. "We've been through it." The boy said again. "Unbelievable. All you kids and some adults and you survive longer than most of the military did. Come on then, let's not leave you out here." Ryker said as he directed the survivors into the choppers. "Which one of you is Katie Pucino?" Ryker asked as they continued shuffling past him. A little girl no older than fourteen walked up. "I am." Katie said.
"Good. You're going to see your grandfather again. He's a good man." Ryker said as Katie nodded. "Alright let's head home fellas." Ryker said as he saw everybody was now on the choppers. He sat directly across from Katie, Jimmy, and Zoe as they took off. "Hate to sound rude, but what the hell happened to you guys?" Ryker asked. "Anything and everything, nasty people, angry old friends, destructive monsters, and more than likely that Jill chick being the reason we were almost nuked." Jimmy explained. "Yeah. What exactly happened with that? Last time I checked it's pretty challenging to get that good of a shot at a nuke." Ryker said. "Because nobody shot it." Jimmy said. Ryker only confused at this.
"Drew got us out of there. He had the nerds work on a suit that could make him fly. He hit the missile to give the signal to save us." Katie explained, as Ryker only chuckled at that. "So, who might this Drew guy be then?" Ryker asked only out of curiosity. "My mentor, my friend… My brother." Katie said with a smile. "I'd say he's a hell of a guy then." Ryker said trying to keep the smile on her face. "Yeah he is." Jimmy said as Zoe rested her head on his shoulder.
Final Day: Tying up loose ends
Subject: Katie Pucino
Katie was now in the military base looking for her final enemy. She came to the holding cells to find Jill sitting in one of them. "Hello Katie." Jill said getting up. "Jill." Katie said back. "It's good to see you again, even though I really only saw you once. How is Drew?" Jill asked trying to play it all off. "He's doing a lot better. Managed to get rid of the host, but he's okay." Katie said still trying to sound as innocent as possible. "Great. Is there any way you could convince the General to let me out of here? I know it seems like I'm a bad person being behind this cell, but it was strictly for my protection. Now I feel like I will be fine." Jill said. "Funny. Nobody else needed a cell." Katie said looking up and down the corridor.
"Probably because there are too many of you." Jill said back with a weak smile. "I don't know. We don't have many people with us, might be able to fit them all in if we tried, maybe Drew could room with you?" Katie asked, Jill only shaking her head. "I don't know. Drew didn't really respect me like he should have, after all I was only trying to help, but you have to understand, Drew was only there to hurt and kill everybody. That's what he was designed to do. Free will meant nothing, and his was designed to kill every last known survivor. Do you understand?" Jill asked. Katie only chuckling at Jill and her foolish reasoning, and soon the chuckle turned into a fit of laughter. "What is funny about that?" Jill asked. Katie then pulled out a handgun and pointed it directly at Jill; as the laughter ceased with a long breath in.
"You really think you're so clever don't you? You think I never knew what was happening in Bullworth? Why do you think you only saw me once Dr. Cranston? It was because I did not want you to see me, or anybody else for that matter. Sure on the outside I am just a harmless little girl, but once you know the truth, you'll soon realize that nobody, not you, Gary Smith, Alcry, or anybody else you can think of would have been able to do what was necessary, but me." Katie said. Jill only with a confused look on her face as she continued looking at whatever was standing before her. "Who are you?" Jill asked. "I think a better question would be what am I? Am I a little girl, or just another failed experiment? In this situation I would assume I'm the best one anybody would ever have. It's beautiful having the world around you fall apart, and realizing you would be okay no matter what would happen. The fools around you asking questions when you hold all of the Universal knowledge and choose to let everything work out on its own." Katie continued. "What do you mean?" Jill asked.
Katie pulled up a chair from behind her and sat in it with a devilish grin on her face. "Might want to pull up a chair, this might be a little bit. You see you did handle the outbreak, or at least your company did, but I handled every other aspect. You see I studied a lot about your company, the successes, the failures, the ups, downs, and all arounds. What I solely focused on was your failures, an escaped experiment, and one in the hands of a group on the outskirts of the town. It wasn't happenstance that one could just fall in the hands of some gangsters, so I devised a plan beforehand to make sure both would meet. In case you don't know it yet, I was the one that sent out the emergency signals, of course doing an impression of a soldier was much easier than you might think, and of course I had one problem to deal with. The Harrington chopper, I knew a fool like him would end up getting carried out on a pedestal, so I contacted the second group through a secondary channel, told them of the chopper, and had them do whatever they wanted. Shooting the chopper down, it just worked out so perfectly to my advantage, that it was inevitable for the two experiments to meet. Of course I never intended for Crabblesnitch or that harlot Lola to become their own homemade experiments, but either way they had no idea about my plans. Of course the group continued surviving, for better or worse, and eventually Drew knew exactly where I was at all times, but the thing is, I knew where he would be going. Anytime he wanted to confront somebody, but I was two steps ahead of him, and I always knew the outcome. How? You might be asking yourself. I was his first student after all, he told me everything going on, at least whatever already happened of course, but I was able to take courses of action. Drew thought I was his student, but how foolish he really was, he was mine to control the minute I merged his blood with mine." Katie explained as she lifted her jacket sleeve up to reveal the marks on her forearm.
"He experimented on you." Jill said. "No. He made my job so much easier. He and I could communicate from afar, and it was good for me because I knew exactly whom I was talking to, and he had no idea whom I was. The day the second group attacked with Alcry in tow; was the day we subconsciously made the decision to take you, Carlos, and Tyler in. Tyler didn't last long as you know, but they were just liabilities to begin with. You were the only one I wanted, it wasn't until after Drew knew about the past that had been created that he needed you around. The day Smith died was the day a shot could be heard around the town, no rhyme, no reason, nothing at all, but was it all for naught? Smith was the only one able to recognize me as different, and he knew such a slight amount of the things Drew and I were up to. He knew I was blood with him, and he saw it in my eyes. Smith had to go, but the only thing that would make Drew obey that command was if he were given a reason to. Through Drew's blood I am able to tap into certain memories he may not remember, so with my power being much more, I took control of his dead mother and brought her to life in spirit form. I spoke to Drew through his mother, that he would only subconsciously know, but he knew that he would obey. After all it was his mother. The charges for the most part were bullshit, but as long as Smith couldn't croak about our various deeds, which was his new plan then I wouldn't care who took a toll. The only problems physically presented now were the still surviving Harrington, and little Pete Kowalski. Of course Peter was much easier to convince to lay off, however Harrington presented many more problems than it was worth. I also had you to deal with as well, but I figured that you could die another day. Though two loose ends to tie up and in two locations would be a problem, so of course the day Drew knew of what he was truly capable of, was the same day you happened to attempt finding a cure at the plant. It wasn't too trying to keep Drew from staying, the only thing is he needed a way to leave, and of course you had to take the fall. I also let Harrington attack the school as well, all I had to do was be there to take the fall with Zoe, and it wasn't too hard to act weaker than I really am. He threw me in with Zoe, and we drove to his little base. That was when I had to act like an innocent, seeing as Zoe was completely oblivious to what I was. However, when I fell asleep, I could see through his eyes. I saw him preparing for battle, saw his suit that was built, the tank, everything. I gave him a subconscious signal through my mind to show the right direction. He knew where they were, and it was only a matter of time. Soon the biggest problem presented was Gauthier, and knowing Harrington could be handled, I had to find a way to leave her for dead, seeing as how she managed to catch onto a less than appropriate way for a little girl to act. It was too easy to trap her, explosions going off, bullets flying, it was only a matter of time before something happened to fall on her. Good-bye to the little lover. Once we got back to the school Drew and I were the only ones keeping conversation, and I told him everything. I had to. He was ultimately leading a fate that would end his life, but he just didn't know it. At the same time I didn't want it to happen, I did love him. I just wish he could have understood how much I did, but with what I've been up to behind the wings, I couldn't. He had to know what I was doing, but he was reluctant at first to accept it as fact. I stopped the radio from working on our end using my mind, and I had to do what needed to be done. Drew, he had to die. I knew he had too good of a heart to not tell people, but at the same time it was me taking the fall, or him dying a hero. Of course my being here today tells you which one happened. You were the biggest thorn in everybody's side, and your ways is what cost me everything. Now, I'm going to own up on a promise I made, to everybody else I am losing my innocence by killing you, but I know better than that. Now you know everything, and it is in fact time for you to die." Katie finished as she pulled the trigger multiple times killing Jill until she was riddled with bullets and lying in a pool of her own blood.
"Dr. Graham says he'll greet you when you get to Hell." Katie said with a grin as she walked towards the end of the hall. She walked through the door to be greeted by Jimmy. "You okay Katie?" Jimmy asked as Katie had a tear rolling down her cheek. "I know. Taking a life is tough for everybody." Jimmy said comforting her as Katie hugged Jimmy and had her eyes open, and filled with tears. "It will be okay from now on. You won't have to kill anybody else. You're safe." Jimmy continued as Katie nodded and her brown eyes shimmered a bright emerald green color.
A/N We are finally at a conclusion! So I hope I get to read some opinions on it, what did you think, what you liked, didn't like, but try not to give something that isn't constructive like "Oh the story blew major donkey dick" Cause I know for a fact it probably did. Okay just kidding but seriously though, we are all aspiring authors as well as fans of different things that just happened to find a way to combine the two. Honestly I think already having developed characters is a bit easier when writing, believe it or not it's tough for me to think up an awesome original character, and this website makes it easier because, well any fellow fans know the setting and most of the characters so that's a win-win. Anyways the year spent on this has been a mix of several emotions, happiness, frustration, sadness, and at times I didn't want to kill certain characters but I kinda had to. I mean I killed a lot of fucking characters. I honestly think from the actual game the there was only like nine or ten. I also had at least five different alternate endings I was considering to write, but most of them left it in a real "There's still a stone unturned" sense to it. One of them involved Jill killing the General and escaping from the base and leaving Katie to hunt her down when she's older, which would have been problematic seeing as though it'd definitely spawn a sequel, and in all honesty I can't promise a sequel again, especially after the Saints Row fics are still left unfinished. There was also parts of the fic that were heavily edited and things replaced with a different idea. Two examples are changing Carly into a sister as opposed to originally being a fiance, (I know weird right?) and having a paramilitary squadron attack the school instead of Derby. I was also considering having Pinky taking a last stand before she went down, like an actual fight sequence between her and Derby, with both of them technically killing each other, but Pinky turned into a zombie instead, which prompts Drew to kill her. Instead I'd rather show some slight growing up on Drew's part since he was a bit up and down during the story, and it only took me until the minute I started posting to realize that. Anyways seeing as this fiction has reached its finale, I might end up posting some smaller fics, primarily oneshots or shorter layered stories in the meantime, I've gotten a few ideas the GTA 5 fans might like to see, so as always stay sweet readers and writers! I'll see you on the next one!
