This chapter may be a little all over the place, but I don't know.
600 views WOW! Thank you to everyone reading, (A BIG THANKS TO THE PEOPLE THAT REVIEWED!)
As I may have mentioned, I wrote this as a prequel, not a story. So, the sequel, (which I wrote first), will be up reasonably soon. But we're not quite done with this story yet.

THE ANGELS WILL ALWAYS CRY 4 THE ANGELS WILL ALWAYS CRY
The woman had brown combat boots, that reached up to her knees and was wearing what looked like a military uniform. Her army jacket was a shade of brown, with various zips and buttons. The man beside her was dressed practically identically. The woman's hair was blonde and longer, but other than that, it was hard to distinguish them.
"How do you know about my Erin?" The woman demanded. There was a pause.
"You're Erin's parents?" Vlad said, "Mr and Mrs Noble?"
"Correct." Mrs Noble looked at him suspiciously, before turning to Katherine, "Well done, my dear Katherine." Mrs Noble said, throwing her arms around the witch, "You truly have got the Draculas by their throats, haven't you?" Malik looked shocked, as did Vlad, but the rest appeared unchanged. Emarni was still focusing on the blood mirror- summoning her mother, Vlad realised with a start. He watched her with wary eyes, but she seemed to be struggling. Maybe it was okay to leave the girl for a moment- there were more pressing matters at hand.
"It appears we were misinformed. We were told ALL the Draculas were tied up." Mr Noble said, "But where is the Count himself?" All was silent, Katherine shifting her weight from foot to foot nervously. The Nobles looked at her suspiciously. Then, Olga, who had been uncharacteristically quiet, broke the silence.
"Who's Erin?" Olga drawled.
"Malik's girlfriend, Vlad's ex, my antagonist." Ingrid snapped, "Keep up."
"She's not my girlfriend!" Malik snarled.
"That's true. He ditched her in France." Katherine said, "Didn't you, Malik? Because you thought she was clingy? Or because you are after the woman you truly love?" Her tone was bitter, as she cast a look at Ingrid, who fought against the bonds that held her in her seat. She screamed.
"We're not engaged!" Ingrid kicked frantically with her boots.
"Wait... What?" Malik looked dumbfounded. His brother tore his eyes off Emarni for a second, to smirk at Malik. While the Draculas had been arguing, the Nobles had untied the human boy, that nobody seemed to know. He leapt easily to his feet, rubbing his wrists to get his blood circulating again. The Nobles appeared to be giving Katherine a firm telling off, for unbeknown reasons.
"Why did Katherine tell me you were then?" Vlad turned his head to look at his older sister, who scowled at him. Malik was glaring at Katherine, who he seemed to be blaming for the whole fiasco. The Nobles were muttering something to the human boy and Vlad could've sworn he saw Mrs Noble HUG him.
"Will you all be quiet, please?" Emarni piped up, rather suddenly and surprisingly meekly. She looked up at them all with her wide eyes. Her expression was surprisingly innocent.
"It is just that... this is rather difficult..." Emarni said. Then, she returned to whatever she was doing- some kind of witchcraft, Olga presumed. The Nobles were smirking now, which was rather alarming.
"The Van Helsings have the Count." Mrs Noble informed the human boy. He nodded. The slayer woman was holding a walkie-talkie in her hand.
"They've got Dad?" Vlad sounded horrified.
"You say that like it's a bad thing." Ingrid rolled her eyes.
"Shut it, Mrs Vaccaria!" Vlad snapped at her, receiving a glare, "Katherine, you're meant to be helping me!"
"Uh, she's with us!" Malik said.
"Actually, she's assisting us." the boy said, "In our mission to destroy the Draculas." Mr Noble threw a switch and a shudder of electricity passed through all of the Draculas. Ingrid focused her attention on making sure her hair didn't stand on end.
"What the hell?" Vlad yelled, feeling all the hairs on his arms stand on end. He shivered.
"Why am I being tortured?" Olga demanded. She squirmed frantically, struggling against the chains that held her. She was not enjoying being tied up.
"Katherine?" Malik's voice sounded considerably kinder. The witch girl had fallen silent, leaning against the wall opposite him. She was staring blankly at the floor, clearly deep in thought. Katherine looked up at the sound of her name.
"Yeah?" she said, sounding surprised to be addressed.
"Who are you working for?" Malik asked, quietly.
"The Nobles. I'm sorry, Malik. I wanted to help you, I love you." Katherine said, softly, "I really, really love you. But you're engaged."
"I AM NOT BLOODY ENGAGED TO MY SISTER!" Malik screamed, making everyone jump. He tried hard not to look at Ingrid. Mr Noble flipped the switch again and all the Draculas cringed in pain.
Olga was completely lost, not that she would admit it. She had no idea who the slayers trying to kill her were, or who Malik was, or who Emarni was, and she was unsure why she had been attacked. All she had wanted was a seat on the Vampire High Council. There was an explosion and the whole room shook. The candles surrounding Emarni went out and the girl nearly tumbled over backwards. The mirror flexed, a hand trying to push it's way out of the prison.
"MUM!" Malik reached as far as he could, whilst trapped in his seat.
"MOTHER!" Emarni screamed, sounding completely terrified.
"Your Mom?" Olga was utterly bamboozled.
"Don't move an inch!" Mina Van Helsing burst through the door, a crossbow held tightly in her arms. Jonathan Van Helsing was gripping The Count by the arms.
"Good work." Mrs Noble nodded to them. The Count was shoved over to where his children and his niece were tied up.
"This is not right! I am the Prince of Darkness!" The Count complained, hissing at the slayers.
"Save it, Dad." Ingrid rolled her bright blue eyes at him.
"Ah, my favourite daughter and her remarkable wit." The Count snarled, "Apparently, not my only daughter now." There was another sudden earthquake and Olga's gaze returned to the blonde girl knelt by the blood mirror.
"They're trying to summon Elisabetta!" Vlad said, "STOP THEM, GODDAMNIT!" The mirror was twisting unnaturally, a pair of hands trying to push their way through. The room was freezing cold, even to the vampires. There were several flashes of lightning and wind whipping at everyone's faces, like a storm was brewing. There was a loud shriek emitting from the mirror. Olga found herself shivering, her dark hair flowing behind her, getting caught on the machinery.
"What's going on?" Olga yelled, over the noise.
"It's starting." Emarni said, quietly but just loud enough to be heard.
"Miss Vaccaria." the human boy rested his hand on the girl's shoulder, "You have got the Draculas in your grasp. Leave the mirror now." Emarni glared up at him.
"I do not even know where you are." she said.
"That makes two of us." Olga rolled her eyes as well as she could in the sudden violent weather. Rain began to lash against their heads, making Olga feel uneasy. In an indoor thunderstorm, the worst place to be is strapped to an electric chair.
"VLAD!" Ingrid was screaming. Instead of screaming words, Olga just let out a high pitched scream, as the electricity began to buzz around her ears. Most of her hair was stuck to the nape of her neck by rain, whipping at her face violently.
"This is dangerous, Mum. The electricity is linked up to the whole school. There could be a mass explosion." The human boy said to Mrs Noble.
But if Mrs Noble was the boy's Mum? The lights were flickering overhead, flashing in Ingrid's eyes.
"You're a slayer?" Ingrid was flabbergasted, "I can't believe I let you live, Julian!"
"You know him?" Vlad said, "Oh, it doesn't matter now! JUST GET US OUT!"
"Mum, I think we should run." Jonathan was tugging on Mina's arm, but Mina wasn't moving. She was holding the crossbow steady, pointing it at the Count's heart. The Count was trying to protect why he called his "lustrous locks" from the overhead indoor rain.
"EMARNI, STOP!" Malik yelled, somehow managing to break free of the bindings that held him in his seat. Ingrid added it to her mile long mental list of things she had to ask about later. Why did she feel so stupid?
"They're escaping!" Mrs Noble shrieked. She was right, Ingrid realised, as Malik flicked some kind of switch that realised them all. Slayer technology- always has either a self destruct button or a reversal switch. Soon enough, Ingrid could wriggle free too, and she launched herself at Julian. The slayer boy squealed and pulled a stake out of his back pocket. She pinned him to the ground easily, despite his attempts to kick her off. She bared her fangs, pressing her teeth into his pale neck. He dodged out of the way, before she could bite him. they struggled with each other, both of them rolling around on the floor.
"Ingrid!" Julian gasped.
"Prepare to die!" Ingrid snarled. Something shattered nearby, glass falling on the pair of them. Ingrid could hear Vlad swearing at the top of his voice and mentally blamed him.
"Emarni, you don't have to do this." Malik knelt beside her sister, "You don't really want Mum back, do you?" Emarni was sitting miserably in front of the blood mirror, cringing away from the mirror that her Mother was escaping from.
"I failed to destroy the Draculas." Emarni looked around at her family, who were grappling with the slayers- Ingrid was holding the Noble boy by his throat. Her cousin, Olga, screamed for her father, as Mr Noble held her by the throat.
"And?" Malik said.
"Bringing Mother back is the only resolution." Emarni said, sounding almost dreamlike, "She can save us both, Malik." Malik rolled his eyes at his sister's annoying loyalty. He was pretty sure that his Mum wasn't going to thank him and Emarni, once she escaped the mirror.
Olga was screaming so loudly, it was beginning to hurt her own ears. Mr Noble was gripping her by the throat; he was no longer torturing her for his enjoyment, but out of a sense of duty. Suddenly, he grew bored, grabbed her by her long, dark hair and threw her across the room. She slammed directly into Vlad and Mrs Noble, the three of them falling in a heap. Then, Olga saw the slayer readying her crossbow.
"GET DOWN!" Olga shrieked. Both her and her cousin hit the ground, covering their faces instinctively. A window shattered over their heads- Mina Van Helsing had hit the window with her crossbow. A fraction of a second later and Vlad would've been hit. Vlad swore loudly. Mina was readying her crossbow again, pulling the string back into position.
"You think Mum would want this?" Malik was saying to his sister, from across the room, "You think she'd want to see us again? After we failed?" His sister was rocking backwards and forwards, her hair singed by... Lightning? She was chewing the tops of her fingers nervously.
"You want these people to die? Your family?" Malik was trying a different tactic now- guilt, "These innocent vampires?" Emarni was still rocking frantically.
"You think the tall one can talk the blonde one out of killing us?" Olga whispered to Vlad. Her lower lip was cut and bleeding.
"I don't know." Vlad whispered back. Mina was just about to hit them, when, all of a sudden, Emarni threw herself on top of the slayer. The crossbow fired, with a click, and Vlad heard the bolt shoot through the air.
And Vlad heard the noise of someone being hit by the deadly, garlic coated bolt. But which member of his psychotic family of bloodthirsty eccentrics had been hit?
