This chapter is set mainly in the Dreamworld, so let me clear somethings up:
I believe that vampires enter the world at sixteen and return there every now and again, when they are asleep. They don't randomly pass out like Vlad did- he was an exception, because he was the Chosen One.
Secondly, I believe that all vampires get a different mentor in the Dreamworld. All the mentors are based off the people they trust in real life- which is why Robin is Vlad's.
Finally, I believe- like Emarni does- that all vampires go to the same Dreamworld when they sleep. But the Dreamworld is so big, that the vampires can't find each other.

"She's just tired, I guess. I'm surprised that she got up at all." said Vlad. He was referring to his cousin Olga, who had collapsed face first in her breakfast. Her wavy hair hung loose around her shoulders and was a lot darker then Vlad remembered.
"Or she's in the Dreamworld. She's old enough." Malik frowned, kicking Olga under the table. The girl muttered something, before falling still again.
"My own brother!" The Count yelled, banging his fist on the table. Olga was startled awake, her eyes wide.
"Ivan!" The Count let out a pained sigh, "My dearest younger brother!"
"Mhm?" Olga said.
"You barely ever saw Uncle Ivan!" Vlad said. Uncle Ivan had not been to visit since cousin Boris had been turned to dust by the Crown of Power.
"Uncle Ivan..." Malik wondered aloud, "Have I met him?"
"SUCH A CHARACTER!" The Count went suddenly over dramatic, tossing his dark hair. Both his sons frowned at him- The Count could be so irritating.
"Probably." Olga said, "He was pretty unremarkable. You wouldn't have remembered him." Were this tears in her eyes? Vlad couldn't help wondering.
"How did he die?" Malik leant forward, looking eager for the gory details. His cousin realised he was talking to her and scowled at him. Clearly, she didn't want to talk about it.
"Don't you have an annulment to arrange?" Olga snapped tiredly.
"Don't you have a funereal to arrange?" Malik threw back. They weren't really angry though, Vlad knew, it was just lazy banter.

It had been quiet all morning in the Dracula household, with The Count having a teeniest breakdown in the dining room. Renfield was bustling around in the kitchen, messing around with potions and vials. Both of the Dracula females were still asleep; Emarni lying silently in Vlad's coffin, her arms folded neatly across her chest, and Ingrid was in her own coffin, muttering under her breath about "bad boy clichés". Neither of them were relaxed, or blissful- how could they be?- but they were okay. Or so Vlad thought.

The opening in the forest was huge, trees towering over the blonde vampire girl. Emarni knew this place, she knew the drill. She was in the Dreamworld, the world that was lined with glowing edges, everything soft around the edges. It was like a beautiful kind of heaven. What she didn't recognise was the darkness that was closing in on her- that had never been in her dreams before, only her nightmares.
"Emarni!" Ingrid was there, "Thank Satan, you're here too!" She looked relieved with a touch of fear flickering in her light blue eyes.
"This is the Dreamworld, is it not?" Emarni said, "It has never been so dark in my past visits."
"I've never seen it like this." Ingrid agreed, "I've never seen you here before. I thought each vampire had a different Dreamworld."
"Maybe we are all in the same dream, but we cannot find each other." Emarni said, with a wistful expression. Her sister felt obliged to slap her twice across the face; once for pleasure and the second time out of duty to the vampire race.
"Is this the time for an inspirational speech?" Ingrid said. Slowly, Emarni shook her head and folded her arms across her chest. Then, she began to walk in a random direction. Away from the pale sunlight glinting through the trees.
"Where are we going?" Ingrid called, refusing to budge from where she was standing. Last night, Emarni had knocked her out and tied to an electric chair. It was fair to say that Ingrid didn't trust the girl as far as she could throw her.
"To the ends of the earth, or maybe just after." Emarni smiled the creepiest smile Ingrid had ever seen.
"You're crazy." Ingrid spat, watching the girl wander off. How could she be related to someone so weird?
It was after a while that he appeared before her. Ingrid nearly screamed at the top of her dead lungs.
"You're dead. I have your ashes in an urn." Ingrid hissed. Will Clarke just smiled at her in the dreamy way that had always made her swoon. That was before she grew up. Now, she just scowled at him.
"I'm your mentor, remember?" Dream Will said. It was true. When Ingrid had first entered the Dreamworld on her sixteenth birthday, Will had appeared to be her mentor, (apparently Robin had been Vlad's).
"Oh yeah." Ingrid rolled her eyes. How could she have forgotten?
"They are approaching." Will said.
"What do I do?" Ingrid demanded. She looked to her dead boyfriend with wide eyes.
"You can't be serious." Will said, "Run, you beautiful idiot!"

Meanwhile, Emarni was wandering through the world that she thought she had known. It was weird how much her mother's death had flipped both her worlds upside down- the real world and the Dreamworld. She heard footsteps behind her and spun around.
"You." she couldn't stop herself smiling, "I am so glad you are here too. I did not want to be here alone with only Ingrid for company."
"She is not that bad, Em." Dream Malik said, "Besides there is one other trapped here too."
"Who?" Emarni demanded.
"That is irrelevant. All you need to know is that they are here also." Dream Malik said, "The shadows of the night."
"But we are the creatures of the night." Emarni said, "What other darkness could there be?"
"The creatures that killed Ivan, as well as your grandparents. The creatures who haunted your mother's mind." Dream Malik said. It was true- Emarni's grandparents had been murdered under unknown circumstances. Did Dream Malik know what had happened? There was a sentence Emarni never thought she'd think.
"What are they?" Emarni asked, "Malik, tell me." She was frightened, her wide eyes even wider than usual. Vampires weren't scared of anything, they were at the top of the food chain. There was nothing worse than vampires. That was when Dream Malik melted away because Olga burst out from the trees.
"SHADOW WARRIORS!" She screamed, grabbing Emarni and running with her. Emarni had never been more terrified.
