'And do you ever feel like you're alone?
And do you ever wish that you'd be unknown?
I could say that I have – I could say that I have.
And do you ever feel that things here aren't right?
And do you ever feel the time slip by?
I can say that I have – I can say that I have.

So, hear this please, and watch as your heart speeds up endlessly.
And look for the stars as the sun goes down…
Each breath that you take has a thunderous sound.
Everything, everything's magic.

Just sit back and hold on tight.
Prepare for the best and the fastest ride, and reach out your hand and I'll make you mine.

Chapter Twenty-Eight:

"You're serious – aren't you?!" Lexi demanded. I nodded, laughing. "You want to recreate the last day you had in Mystic Falls in your vision?" She asked me.

"Yes." I responded. She smirked.

"There is no way in hell that I am missing this!" She vowed. Well, she's in. I looked at Damon and Stefan, expectantly. I doubt they'll actually disagree, but I'm hoping they'll still be game. It was a blast the first time around – so, why not?

"There is no way that you're getting naked and I'm not going to be there to see it." Damon announced. I beamed. One down, one to go…

"Come on, Stefan. Please…" I pleaded, doing my best impersonation of puppy dog eyes. He smirked and leaned down to kiss me. I looped my arms behind his neck and slipped my tongue inside of his mouth. "Please?" I whispered, still plastered to him. He chuckled.

"I'll go. I just wanted to make you work for it." He laughed. I stuck my tongue out at him.

"You're evil." I told him.

"I learned from the best." He said, gesturing to Damon. Damon smirked and raised his glass to Stefan.

"You got that right."

"So, who all are we inviting?" Lexi asked me. I bit my lip.

"Should everyone go skinny-dipping?" I asked them. I'd rather just keep that between us, to be honest.

"No, but they should go to karaoke." Damon spoke up. He read my mind.

"Let's get naked!" Lexi cheered.

We ended up back in the same gorgeous spot before. It's nice. There isn't an overwhelming pressure that tomorrow is a day that none of us want to face. It's so much more carefree this time around. I love it.

I hadn't told anyone that this was Damon's idea initially, but I have a feeling that he knows. I'm not sure that Stefan or Lexi had ever been to the spot, before today.

Since we weren't alone, Damon shed his clothes, sans striptease. Lexi and I waited until the boys were waiting in the water, until we took off our clothes and jumped in. I laughed as my head broke the water.

"Thanks for coming." I thanked them.

"You're my girl. There's no way that I wouldn't be here." Lexi promised. I hugged her.

"Hey, if you wanted to bring some of that naked hug action over here, we wouldn't complain." Damon tried. I smiled and moseyed over to him and Stefan. They gave me a bear-hug and I tried to ignore the intimacy that came with it, for Lexi's sake.

After spending a few hours dunking each other and watching them race to the waterfall and try to throw each other off, we decided it was time to tackle our next adventure for the day. We drove to the state line and all straddled it. When in Rome, right? Now, we can all say that we've been in two places at once.

When we were finished with that, we continued to drive to my mother's house. Since we aren't in a time crunch, I'd rather meet her face to face before drunken karaoke. If it goes worse than before, at least I'll be too drunk to care. Either way, it's a win-win situation for me.

"Are you ready for this?" Stefan asked me, quietly. I tried to swallow the growing lump in my throat and I wiped my sweaty palms on my jeans. I shook my head.

"I'm not even a little ready, but I want to do this. I need to do it. I've already met her once… in my head. I just… I need to do this. I need that closure and I don't think that I'll be able to get that any other way. You know?" I rambled. Lexi got out of the car.

"Come on. I'll walk you up. I'm sure you mother knows about the Salvatores, but she doesn't know about me. I can wait outside while you talk." Lexi offered, half helping, half pulling me out of the car. I shot her a thankful smile and followed her to the front door.

"Well, it's now or never." I breathed, trying to calm the jitters that were running wild in my stomach. I rapped on the door, before I lost my nerve. Jamie opened the door and smiled at me, just like before.

"Hey, can I help you?" He asked smoothly. I bit my lip and cleared my throat.

"Actually, I came to see Abby, Abby Bennett. She's my mother." I told him. His smile grew.

"You're Bonnie!" He exclaimed. He opened the door and ushered me inside.

"I'll wait out here for Bon. Take your time." Lexi advised me. I nodded and followed Jamie inside.

"I feel like I already know you. Your mom talks about you all the time. I'm sure she'll be thrilled to see you. She's in the kitchen." Jamie rattled on. "Abby! You have a visitor!" He yelled. She turned around to face us, but she was drying her hands.

"I wasn't expecting anyone, today." She said as she looked up. She gasped when she saw me. "Bonnie? Oh, my stars." She breathed.

"Can we have a minute?" I asked Jamie. He nodded.

"I'll give you guys some time." He promised, before leaving the room.

"I've always wondered what kind of woman you've turned out to be." She said, reaching out to touch my face. I took a step away from her.

"You had that chance, mom. You left us." I reminded her. Her face fell. "Look, I didn't come here to yell at you, I just needed to meet you, so I can get passed this." I admitted.

"Bonnie, I'm in a better place now. I can be there for you. We can be the family that we were always supposed to." She tried. I shook my head.

"Maybe someday, we can try, but I'm not ready. Coming here was hard for me. I've had a hard life, mom. I know that it wasn't your fault, but it's hard looking at you and knowing that I was something that you could just throw away. That's something that has always eaten at me. I'm sure that you're not a horrible person, but I'm not ready to know you. I just had to see you." I tried to explain to her.

"Did your father come with you?" She asked me, looking around for him. I shook my head.

"My father died years ago." I answered. She looked heartbroken. "Maybe you can talk to Grams and she can explain things for you. I just wanted to see you and know that you were okay. That's all I wanted. I hope that you've gotten everything out of your life that you wanted to." I said my piece and walked out of the house.

Lexi put her arm around me and walked me to the car. There are plenty of other things that I'd like to know, but I don't need to know them. I needed to get that off of my chest and now I have. I can move on.

"Alcohol induced karaoke?!" Damon asked me, with a surprising amount of enthusiasm. I nodded. He picked me up and ran me inside of the Grill. Matt was about to start closing everything down. Damon compelled the owner to let us stay overnight and drink or fill of booze, free of charge. Matt laughed, since he had been filled in on the vampire situation. Lexi was talking Matt into joining us.

After everyone else cleared out, Caroline, Tyler, Jeremy and Vicki came by. We swore them to secrecy and the games began.

"There is no way in hell that I'm singing Britney Spears in front of you all." Tyler declared. Caroline whispered something in his ear and I could tell that she was changing his mind. "I'm not doing it alone." He gave in. I shared a smirk with the other girls in the room.

"You won't be alone." Lexi told him. "The rest of the guys are going to join you and we better see some serious hip action." She laughed. Their faces were priceless. After serious sweet-talking and lots of shots, they finally agreed.

Music rang through the Grill and all of the guys stood on stage. Matt popped out his hip and stuck out his chest. Damon gyrated his hips against the microphone stand. Jeremy bent down and pretended to pick something up, while shaking his ass. Stefan ran his hands down his body, groping his chest. Tyler held the cordless mike and shimmied as he sang.

'My loneliness is killing me and I – I must confess…
I still believe.
When I'm not with you, I lose my mind.
Give me a sign.
Hit me, baby, one more time.'

They weren't even halfway through the song and we were in hysterics. I never thought that they would actually get over their macho egos and do it. I love it.

They performed the rest of their music number beautifully. I think it's safe to say that male strippers probably dance a lot like whatever it was the guys tried to do.

"It's your turn." Matt told Lexi, pointedly. She just shot him a knowing smile and pulled the females on stage. She fiddled with the karaoke machine for a minute, before LMFAO filled the room.

"Ladies, it's our job to put the men to shame." She announced in the microphone, before the lyrics started. We all nodded in agreement.

"We've got this." Caroline chimed.

"You're going down, boys." Vicki told them all.

"Let's do this!" I cheered.

'When I walk on by, girls be lookin' like, damn, he fly.
I pimp to the beat, walkin' on the street with my new lafreak, yeah.
This is how I roll, animal print pants, out control.
This red foo' with the big afro, it's like Bruce Lee, rock at the club, yo.'

Lexi took off her shirt and left her top half clad in only her bikini top and felt herself up, outdoing Stefan. I grinded against the mike stand and put my hands in my hair, doing my best Damon impression. Caroline dropped it like it was hot. Vicki was rocking out with the microphone and putting Tyler to shame.

'When I walk in the spot, this is what I see – everybody stops and they starin' at me.
I've got a passion in my pants and I ain't afraid to show it.
I'm sexy and I know it.'

We kept moving until our song ended. Lexi pulled her shirt back on and we vacated the stage. No one said anything for a minute.

"I think we've been beat." Jeremy admitted. The guys laughed.

"If I get to see them dance like that, I'm okay with losing." Damon admitted.

"That makes two of us." Stefan agreed.

After karaoke and a last minute breakfast at a local diner, we all went our separate ways. Lexi tagged along with Matt. Jeremy and Vicki went back to his place. Tyler went with Caroline to her house. I went home with Stefan and Damon.

We made it to the room that we've dubbed just for us and the kissing started. The door shut and locked and I don't remember how it got that way. Our clothes were on the floor and we were all on the bed.

Stefan stroked me through my underwear and pulled back. "We don't have to do anything you don't want to do." He promised me. I nodded.

"I know, but I want this. I want you, both. I'm ready." I told him. Our mouths were fused together and I pulled away to kiss Damon. Hands were everywhere and I felt safe. There was no doubt in mind that I was ready to give myself to them.

They both took it slowly for me. They were gentle and it was perfect. I couldn't have made things better if I tried. I lay beside them both, panting.

"How do you feel?" Damon asked me. I smiled to myself.

"I feel perfect."

"No regrets?" Stefan asked me. I shook my head.

"No regrets," I replied. "I could never regret either of you. I love you." I whispered.

"You have us, Bonnie. We're not going anywhere." Stefan swore.

"And you better bet your ass that you're stuck with us, Judgy." Damon teased. I laughed. "I fucking love you." He added, placing his lips on top of mine.

"And I love you… No one will ever love you more than we do." Stefan breathed.

"I'm really happy that you came back to Mystic Falls… If Caroline hadn't dragged me out for pizza that night… none of this would have ever happened." I admitted. I turned onto my stomach and traced their torsos with my fingers.

"It would have happened." Damon argued.

"How are you so sure?" I asked.

"Because something this powerful was meant to be," Stefan replied. I smiled, softly. My heart told me that he was right. I wouldn't have it any other way.
