And another one – I'm thinking of writing another one with Ginny next time…What do you think?

Anyway, same as usual – please review to let me know if you liked it.

A Night Out

The club is both better and worse than what she was expecting.

Worse, because all her coworkers are there, so she really has to watch what she does.

Better, because there aren't actually drunken fifty-year-old men trying to flirt with girls just old enough to be their daughters.

Still, she's a bit relieved when she gets to the seat that has, surprisingly, been reserved for her. She can't help but feeling that her dress is just a bit too short – it shows more skin than she'd like, but this was the only appropriate dress she owned for this kind of place.

(it's the last time she lets Ginny gift her clothes for Christmas though)

"So you came finally, didn't you?"

"Of course I did, Draco. I told you I would, didn't I?"

(she didn't actually, but she's sure he understood that she would)

He's about to answer, but someone – Lynda, from the second floor who apparently has already had a bit too much to drink – interrupts him.

"Oh Merlin, are they flirting? They so are! I just knew it. Didn't I tell you they were made for each other Alice?"

Hermione spits up her drink and flushes so red she's sure it can be seen from the other side of the room.

She doesn't even hear Lynda apologizes when Draco glares at her.

They weren't flirting.

They weren't… Were they?
