Hello faithful readers, thank you for your patience. I hope you enjoy. I don't own the show Shakugan No Shana, but I own most of these characters.

We land a few hours later, now completely aquainted with eachother. We walk out the terminal and walk to the baggage claim. Really, Josia and I don't have any lugage to grab, so we just wait until Lily grabs her baggage (a dark pink, almost red, backpack) and we walk out of the airport. Of course, because of our newfound abilities, we don't really need to rent a car. Also, none of us are old enough to drive really.

We walk into the city and find that it's packed with people. Neon signs lighting up every wall in sight, and billboards advertizing products I didn't recognize, in a language I couldn't read.

"I believe she's in there." Josia states, pointing at a large hotel after a while of searching. We walk into the building and up to the desk on the back wall. The man behind said desk looks at us with confusion.

"Um... may I help you?" He asks.

"Why yes, I was wondering if the Sato's are staying here?" Josia asks him. He looks between the three of us with suspition.

"Yes... They do dwell here, but I'm not sure if they want to see you." He answers with a mild amount of aggitation.

"Actually, we do want to see them." Says a male voice. We turn in the direction of the voice to see a young man and woman. The man wearing a blue, stripped tuxedo. He's slightly shorter than the female, with brown hair and gleaming blue eyes. The woman beside him is wearing a blue skirt that stops just above her knees. Along with a white button-up shirt and a blue blazier over it. She's wearing rectangle frammed glasses that lay across the bridge of her nose, and her hair is pulled back into a long ponytail reaching about mid-thigh. Hanging on her shoulder is a large green book about the size of a sachel.

I decide to take the leader role at this point. "I'm Glen Jones, The Crafter Of Spells and Contractor of Macerien, the Cog of Perpetual Rotation." I hold out my hand to the man. He shakes it, barely.

"I'm Sato Keisaku, and this is my wife, Margery Sato." He introduces. I nod in reply and look back to my friends.

"I'm here to train and master the use of Unrestricted Methods." I state, "And my friends are here as escorts."

"Unrestricted methods you say?" Magery's eyes suddenly hold a spark of fascination.

"I think our happy couple here would be happy to help you out. They've been bored out of there minds. All they do is play around in-" Says a new voice, emanating from the book hanging at her hip. Margery quickly interupts him with a punch.

"Ugh, shut up, stupid Marco." She mutters with annoyance, "But, yeah I'll teach you. Who are you in contract with again?" She asks.

"I'm the contractor of Macirien, the Cog of Perpatual Rotation."

"Hmm... I haven't heard that name in a while. Nice to see you again, Macirien." States the book apperently named, "Marco".

"And same to you, Machosias, the Claws and Fangs of Violation." She replies simply. I look at her with surioucity.

"Why does she sound annoyed?" I think to myself. I then look back at the Sato family.

"So, you're here to practice, let's practice then." Says Margery.

"Okay, where should we do it?" I ask.

"Well, I know a park nearby, that'll do." She replies. I nod and we walk to the park.

Just as she opens her mouth to create a seal zone, a dim orange dome forms around the city. I quickly get into a battle position, looking around to find who created the seal. I see that my friends have done the same almost immeadeatly. Followed about a second later by the Sato's.

"Though art a worthy opponent indeed, young one." Replies a voice that sounds like it belongs in the renisounce age.

"Show yourself!" Yells a now battle ready Keisaku.

"you aren't worthy of the honor of battleing the great Hyden!" Says the voice, refering to Keisaku. A field forms around him, Margery, and my team, pushing them away from me.

"Guys!" I yell, reaching for Josia and Lily.

"It's fine, my friend. We are unharmed. Just battle this guy and defeat him!" Answers Josia. I look at him for a second, and then look to Lily. Our eyes meet and imedeatly I know that she believes in me, my confidence rises, and my face contracts a look to match. I crouch down into a fighting stance and face the direction not blocked by a force feild. I form a flame in my hand and it consumes my body, creating armor styled like that of a samuria. (What? It's apropriete, they're in Japan)

"So, may I know thine name, honorable challenger? I wish to sing the songs of thy hopeless fight." Asks the high-headed voice. I look up to see a cloud descending, and I assume he's riding it.

"I am Glen Jones! The Crafter of Spells, and contractor of Macerien, The Cog of Perpetual Rotation!" I announce pridefully. Standing at attention whilst saying it.

"Oh, so Glen is thy name? Pity that thy life shall end so soon." The cloud's top is now visable and I see the rider. He is dressed like a mage, matching well with his voice, with a golden staff in hand. The staff has a glowing orange gem in the middle of what looks like a ravens claw design at the top of it.

"What a fitting death though? To die by the hands of a noblman such as myself. Though, I be not a "man" by your standards, I assume." He says, stepping off the cloud and facing me. I turn to my side and get ready for some hand-to-hand.

"Nope, not really." I reply simply, "To me, you're just some dorky denizen who needs an update, or a termination." I say with conviction. His face contorts in frustration.

"Well, less talking, let us fight, shall we?" He lets go of his staff, which floats in place, and charges at me at unimaginable speeds. I quickly jump to the side and roll, stopping on one knee with my hand holding me up, and my face looking to the ground. My armor catches fire and changes form to my copper cloak. I look up and jump into the air, my cloak taking the form of a glider. Whilst below me an explosion occers.

"Okay, that was close. But, this guy seems a bit slow." I think to myself. Then I feel a movement behind me and my glider takes the form of a cloak once more, and I quickly drop to the ground. Above me I see Hyden flying through the air, with what looks like golden daggers in his hands.

"Like them?" He says once he lands, refering to the daggers, "They're tresure tools I stole for such an occation." I say nothing and jump at him. He jumps toward me as well, daggers held in front of him.

"Glen, stop! You'll kill yourself!" Informs Macy. I don't even flinch. I land on the ground and slide right below the still flying denizen. Within that split second that I'm not below him, in my hand forms a katana blade, which I thrust upward when I'm right below Hyden. I cut his right arm off along with part of his waist. I use my feet to stop my sliding, and jump on my hands, then quickly push myself to my feet, and spin around to face my opponent.

He lays on the ground, holding his remaining arm to his missing side, which is leaking exsistence (A solid blue color, in the form of a flame). I can hear his agony. I smile. Then he stands to his feet, and holds his hand in front of him, an orb of orange developes in his palm. I sprint toward him, my hand becoming a large metal gauntlet. He smiles slyly. He points his hand in the air and a bright light flashes, temporarlily blinding me.

When my sight returns I see that his arm has somehow grown back. He stands only a meter away from me, a dagger in hand, right in front of my chest. The sly smile plastered to his face.

"Well, it looks like victory is surley mine. I must say, thy have some fight in you. But, all good things must come to an end." He says in a deadly voice.

"No, Glen!" I hear Lily scream. He looks at my face once more.

"Any last words?" He asks. I begin to think.

"Okay, stall." I think. I nod sadly, faking a look of defeat. I then look over to Lily.

"Lily, I... I love you!" I announce. She looks at me, sadened, then breaks down in tears. She of half-comforted by Josia.

"Okay, he's going to watch her suffer for a few seconds, damn-it. I'm so sorry Lily, please don't hate me. Wait... I got it!" I look back at him, my facade of defeat still strong. He then smiles victoriously.

"Well, thou art a worthy opponent indeed, but thy time is nigh." He says, thrusting the knife into my chest, and I winch. Then a "Clang!" is heard, and I open my eyes. I wack the dagger out of his hand and a knights sword forms in my hand, which I quickly swing down across the top of his head, slicing him in half entirely. Then his body is engulfed in a flame that quickly dissapates, and he's gone. I exhale a breath I was unaware I was holding. I hear a clang and see that the dagger he had held hadn't dissapeared.

"Glen!" I hear Lily scream. I look up and see her sprinting toward me, followed by everyone else. She rams into my chest, hugging me tightly.

"Lily..." I say quietly, my voice trailing off.

"Glen, I thought you'd die! I-I didn't know what to do, Glen. Why? Why did you do that to me?" She says, he voice fadding and growing hoarse as she cried into my chest. I wrap my arms around her.

"I needed time to come up with a plan, and he gave me that time. But, I had to say something tto use it. I wasn't sure if that would work, so I said the first thing that came to mind." I explain in a calm and assuring tone.

"So I'm just a second thought to you?" She answers in a heartbroken tone. I smile sadly.

"No, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to live through that, so I had to say it." I correct. She looks up at me, tears still in her eyes, I wipe them away with my sleeve and smile. She blushes lightly and looks away.

"I-I..." She begins nervously, "I love you too, Glen." I look at her, smiling and blushing lightly as well. I look up to see Josia and the Sato's looking at us.

"Well, are you going to kiss her or not?" States Sato simply. I look back down at Lily, who is still holding me, and I see her blush a shade darker. She stares into my eyes nervously.

"Not yet, but yes soon enough." I say to Sato. She let's go of me and grabs my hand. She smiles thankfully.
