"Well that is the end of the 1st day of round 2." Said May.

"The competition is just going to get tougher." Said Brock.

"It doesn't matter because I'm better than all of them." Said Ash.

"I can't wait to see you battle again." Said Tyler.

"Same to you. I can't wait to see another battle like yours."

"For now net's just head back to the pokemon centre." Suggested May.

"Sure let's go." Answered Iris.

Meanwhile back at the pokemon centre.

"Man I've never been so hungry in my life."

"Shut it Meowth. We need to come up with a plan to catch us some strong pokemon."

"But Jessie, it's hard to operate on an empty stomach. We need some nourishment for a well-oiled machine", said James.

"There is no need when we actually have a well-oiled machine. With this we can nab all of the primo-pokemon that the boss desires."

"Ok. Then all we need to do is wait for the perfect time to grab that Pikachu." Said Meowth.

"We'll give all the pokemon to the boss,

And we'll soon be rich." They chanted.

The next day as team rocket worked in the shadows, the DWT was raging on at full speed. On that day Virgal the Unova league winner won his 2nd round battle using his Flareon and Jolteon. Paul's brother Reggie was also seen in action again since his loss against pyramid king Brandon. He advanced by beating Dawn's child hood friend Kenny.

The battles were still high on the next day. There were some other strong trainers discovered like Michael, Eldes Virch and Dakim.

On the 3rd day there was a big shock for 1 member of the group as today's battle matchups were shown.

Gavin vs. Red

Burgh vs. Byron

Evice vs. Fein

Bertha vs. Tyler

Jacob vs. Anna

Dawn vs. Harley

Dunking vs. Buck

Harrison vs. Steven Stone

"Oh you've got to be kidding me." Said Tyler.

"Come on Tyler, you've done it before." Said Dawn encouragingly.

"I'm facing an elite 4 member, again! This is just fucking perfect!"

"Hey calm down. If you pick the right pokemon and strategy you can still win this." Said Brock.

"You know, this is so ridicules, it's almost funny" Said Max.

Soon enough it was Tyler's turn. He had picked his pokemon and was ready to go all out. He was about to make his way down to the field.

"Good luck Tyler." Said Dawn.

"You can do it." Added Ash.

"See you in round 3." Said Gary.

"Ok. See you guys later." He said as he ran out to his side of the field.
